Recent Review: Everything went great. The installer showed up on time and explained how long the job would take. Opened and closed the door a few times to make sure everything was ok. The door looks great and I have not had any problems.
Recent Review: This is easy! Erick is just the BEST. I have been using him for close to 10 years. He originally installed my doors and has kept them operating like new ever since. The spring broke on a Sunday, Erick was at my door 10 am the next day. I only needed the spring replaced, but he tuned up, tightened and oil both sets of doors. I was super happy as always. He truly knows his stuff! I recommend him to anyone who asks. HE'S REALLY THE BEST!!

Recent Review: I cannot say enough positive things about Royal Doors! I have been wanting carriage house style garage doors for years, but when the time came to replace our doors, I had representatives from two different companies tell me that because the openings for our garage doors were not a standard size, carriage style doors would not look right. I was so disappointed. Our third estimate was with Royal Doors. A representative came out, measured our doors and also pointed out they were not a standard size. BUT, he said he thought they could do something to make it work so I could have the carriage style doors I've coveted for years. They custom ordered one of the panels in a smaller size so the doors would fit, but still look proportioned. Mike (the owner) kept me updated as we waited for the custom sized doors to come in, then he and his brother showed up at the appointed time with doors that were in excellent condition. They worked quickly and cleanly, and removed the old doors and any old hardware they replaced. We have had the doors for five or six months now and have been very pleased with them. I waited to write a review until we had lived with the doors for a period of time, and I'm glad I did because now I can give a review including our experience with Royal's customer service, as well. A few days ago I inadvertently left something under the door and hit the remote button to close it, which caused one of the rollers to jump the track. We called Mike and he came out and set things right for us. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the customer service from Royal Doors! As far as cost, the cost for two doors, including the special sized door panels that allowed the carriage style doors to look appropriate, was right in line with the other two estimates we had received for regular garage doors (because they said carriage house style doors would not look right). I appreciate Mike and his brother "thinking outside the box" to make my desired style possible. Thank you Mike and I'm sure your company will continue to grow and prosper through the hard work, quality product and installation, fair pricing, and excellent customer service that you offer.
Recent Review: I always wait a week or two before placing a review to make sure nothing comes up or falls apart. It's been almost two weeks and my new doors are still making me smile! I cannot say enough good things about Mike and George. From the initial estimate through project completion, Mike was responsive, flexible, and worked around our schedule. We had initially been quoted approximately $450/door by another contractor to install pre-hung doors. I honestly understand why that is a more desirable route to go in many instances because making a new door fit an opening that may have settled over the years is difficult for most contractors, but Mike is incredibly precise and his method for fitting doors into the existing openings eliminates any concern of doors not fitting properly. Mike is meticulous and a perfectionist and it shows in his work. We were initially going to have just 8 prehung doors installed with the other contractor until we found Mike and were able to install 14 doors including a double-doored sliding closet door and still saved money! It ended up being about 2/3 of the price of the other contractor for almost twice the number of doors. He does not upcharge you to install the door handles and includes the hinges. We went with solid core doors for the bedrooms and bathrooms and hollow core doors on the closets, which Mike explained was a common choice. We had one bathroom door that was a weird bifold door and they replaced it with a swing door for us for a nominal additional fee to account for the extra work involved. Mike was kind enough to waive his out-of-service area fee as we were over an hour from him given the number of doors we were replacing. They even fixed the moulding around one of the closet doors for us and installed inset door handles on the sliding doors for no additional fee even though they weren't traditional handles and involved a bit more work to install. Mike and George worked neatly, quickly and were a pleasure to work with. They're a two man team and the project was completed in two days given the number of doors we were replacing. And what a difference the new doors make! We had hollow orange-colored fake wood doors throughout our home and the new doors make it feel like a brand new house. If you're considering replacing your interior doors, don't hesitate. Mike and George will make your house look like new and are extremely pleasant to work with. I cannot recommend them enough!
Recent Review: Petra did a good job of tuning up the garage door which is the offer that I purchased. The tech made minor adjustments to the door and lubricated all of the moving parts, which makes the door operate like new again. Great job.
Recent Review: Bought a deal for garage door tune up...was having issues with door opening so they fixed my sensors and replaced springs as well. Would totally use again...really good job and arrived on time.
Everything went well. The workers are great at what they do. I had 3 problems that val personally came out to address. 1. I wanted satin nickel hardware and the door company sent gold. 2. The peephole was installed 5 inches too high, it was useless, I live in a step down basement. 3. The door sill was just floating and bowed in when anyone stepped on it. No support under it. Val came back himself and installed the satin nickel hinges and fixed the peephole problem. He installed a satin nickel door knocker in place of the wrongly placed peephole and drilled a hole and installed a new peephole that I can actually reach and see through. The guys came out a week later and fixed the door sill situation. Now everyone can step on it and it supports our weights and doesn't bow in. The door looks beautiful. The door knocker makes the door look even better. I give them a B for price because that pretty costly. Val will say....but it's custom 😀

In a 2 hour job, the man cleaned up at the completion of the job. The serviceman arrived as scheduled. The price was the most reasonable in comparison to others in my area. He was very patient in allowing me to determine which old keys connected with my old door. After a few days of completion, I noticed the magnetic seal was not tight and the door knob was loose. By setting a new appointment the gentleman came back to fix it at no additional charge.

AAA Smith & Sons Lock and Safe LLC
I searched Angies List for a local local locksmith and AA Smith and Sons came up very highly rated. I called their main number and Mr. Tim Smith the owner answered immediately. I explained what I wanted done and we then set a date and time for his visit to the house. Mr. Smith called the day of the appointment early to confirm when he'd arrive. He called a bit later to say he was held up on another job but was on his way to our home. When he arrived, he assessed the doors, what we wanted, offered various best options , provided the cost and then proceeded with the installations. His fees were fair and reasonable and the quality of workmanship was excellent. He was fully prepared, had a professional vehicle that housed his equipment and all products needed. He completed the jobs timely and then offered to adjust a family room sliding door after we asked about additional security locks for the unit. He did this, all unsolicited. He was very courteous, neat and highly professional. We recommended him to a family member in a nearby town and he was scheduled to do work the next day at her home. i would highly recommend AA Smith and Sons Lock and Safe.

AReliable Contracting Co
I purchased an Angie's List coupon for handyman services and I was so satisfied with the work provided by Reliable Contracting. Reliable lives up to their name. Richie seems to quietly sing a tune while he works at installing the fan in my kitchen; both my parents felt that was a good sign of someone that enjoyed their job. My family was overall very happy with the work and I would call Reliable for any future work. Plus, I told my neighbors about the great job.

My first interaction with them was with a woman who answered the phone. She was articulate, friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to schedule the estimate immediately. I was able to schedule the actual job just as easily. Once the repair start day neared they called twice to tell us they were delayed on another job and would need to start a few days later than planned. I had no issue with this at all considering they let me know of the delays as soon as they could rather than waiting until the last minute or just not showing up. The customer service ethic at handyman matters must be very high. Rare these days. The job was completed to our satisfaction in the time frame estimated. The repairman, Lou, was personable and a very hard worker. He made sure to minimize the mess, to the extent he completely removed the drop cloths and other stuff before going home each night. Our repairs and paint job look great. I would work with this company again in a heartbeat. It was probably the best experience I've had with a Handyman or Contractor ever.

FJ & B HOME IMPROVEMENTS
The storm door looked nice at first glance. Problem #1 The caulking for the capping on the storm door is literally the sloppiest i have ever seen. All they had to do was smooth it out with a finger or a wet rag. I had to strip the caulking and re do it. I am not a contractor. Then i assume the caulking finished because some of adhesive was used to finish the job; it never dried. again i had to strip it and finish it. Problem #2- The short Baldheaded gentleman (the main guy) will sell you his doors as gods gift. That peep hole is not what he makes it out to be. Its just a peephole, the home depot sales it just as well. #3 the racoons opened it right back up. They just capped the hole without reinforcing it. #4 The capping on the roof although completed to meet the intent of capping it is sloppy. NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL. #5 The gap between the door and the storm door was not measured properly prior to installation. So i can only fit the key on the inside part of the house to open the door( it locks from the inside) The paint is stripping of the doors. I am not saying the company does bad work; however due to my experience i would not use the company to hammer a nail in my house.

King provided excellent service. We chose them over 3 other companies that gave us estimates. We got the estimate at the end of last year, but due to the terrible winter weather, job was not completed until April. That was ok, as none of the work was urgent. They responded to phone calls and came when they said they would. This is a big plus for me, as I hate when businesses don't call back or don't show up on time. We felt the price was competitive for what we wanted and the salesman Marc was very knowledgeable and answered our questions about different types of doors and what would work best on our home. Everything was carefully measured prior to the order being sent to the factory. Our awning was installed first, excellent job. The doors came a few weeks later. The entry door was a little different than the one we ordered - it had a peephole in it which we did not want. They admitted the mistake, installed the door anyway as our old door was already off. A couple of weeks later, they made it right by installing the exact door we wanted without the peephole as soon as it was ready. Despite that small mistake, they were very professional and accommodating. The workmen were very neat and did the work quickly and professionally. They did not consider the job done until we were satisfied. We would highly recommend King and we would use them again if we needed work done.

I had heard from people that simplex was a little pricey but had seen them working around the neighborhood and thought their work looked good. When I called to have an estimate done they scheduled an appt promptly. They came and reviewed the work to be done explaining the different types of doors and hardware choices and costs then gave an estimate and allowed me time to go over it and make any revisions. They set up a date to install the doors (six weeks later) as they explained they had to wait for the doors to come in and then also to find a time due to work schedules to have time for all work to be done. They arrived on time and started to work. They explained when something couldnt be done and asked questions for best location of mail slot and peep hole etc. they cleaned up all debris and reviewed completed work. After they left when had a problem with mailslot they came back within the hr and fixed it. They also sent someone to fix the door bell which had stopped working when they replaced the door. I have other work I am looking to get done and would hire them again.

I contacted the contractor prior to the Christmas Holiday for a quote. He was one of a five contractors I contacted and only one of two who provided a quote. His quote was what I expected and seemed uncomplicated. Scheduling a time for the work became a slight challenge but we finally settled on a day in late January/early February 2010. They arrived on time. The contractor brought two young guys with him who he aside the work. The contractor was focusing on another project in the neighborhood but close enough if needed. The two workers were very experienced and quickly got to work. They removed the old door. Drilled holes in the new door for the peep-hold, sized it up, drilled a hole for the entry security device, installed the door and half-jamb. The door perfectly..with no room for error. They installed the door know and locks, the peep-hole and painted the trim and cleaned up. The contractor followed up a few doors later to make certain all was ok - and it was.
