Recent Review: Carolina Remodeling Services exceeded any and all of my expectations. I worked directly with Tyler, the son of the owner. From the beginning he was professional, consultative and worked with a very high degree of integrity. All of which I have found to be uncommon in home remodeling. Throughout the project he and his crew worked with me on the design and to find the best deals on tile, fixtures and other accessories. His crew was on clean and professional and worked with me on a schedule that I could rely on with the day to day activities. I would also like to add that he and his crew were committed to doing very high quality job above all other things. Again, not something that is common in this field especially once a project is underway and money has changed hands. I can't say enough for this company, the people and the positive experience that I had working with them.

Recent Review: From our first meeting, I knew that Robb was thorough, detail-oriented, and knew exactly what he was doing. My master bathroom was very outdated and unattractive. Robb and Krissy helped me get through the difficult process of choosing the design, tiles, accents, fixtures, etc. and gave me their honest opinions when asked. The tile work in the bathroom turned out to be absolutely beautiful. Joey is a true artist, and is meticulous about his work. In the process of tearing down the old bathroom, Robb discovered a leak which would have eventually been very destructive, so I really appreciated his "eagle eye". Robb and Krissy were great to work with. I would highly recommend Laying It Down.

Recent Review: The bathroom looks wonderful.  Had some 'issues' with subcontractors that could have went smoother.  Based on the situation we were really disappointed that a more heartfelt apology or some time of customer perk was not provided based on the huge inconvenience we had to deal with.  No follow-up calls have been made since the project was completed to confirm we were happy with the end result.  Again the overall results of the bathroom turned out beautiful.

Recent Review: Communication was great. We had a schedule and had weekly communication on status of materials, work schedule, etc. If there was a delay, we knew in advance what was happening. The people that worked on our house were professional, cleaned up daily and were a pleasure to talk with. We would strongly recommend DiFabion for consideration on any remodeling project.

This time I had them put tiles on the floor and install a new vanity. Their work is exceptional. Very professional and knowledgeable. Our experience with Laying It Down was very good.  We had a new tile shower installed, frameless glass, new tile floor, tub splash and surround, new vanity and top, framed mirror and new fixtures.  Robb was very helpful and responsive throughout the process.  They showed up when they said they would and dedicated themselves to our job once it was started.  Robb was on site on a regular basis throughout.  It was clear they take the quality of their work seriously and they are very good at what they do.

Run don't walk from this company.  Four years ago we had them remodel our master bath.  Following the remodel we found it very difficult to get the owner, Chris, to respond to issues that kept arising, especially water leakage from shower and grout issues.   For years we tired to get him to fix the water issue -- he even came out and tore a hole in the wall but never came back to fix it.  We finally had to get someone to come and fix the damage he caused.  Now we are moving and the house inspector found numerous code violations and improper work.  The "plumbers" he used did not know what they were doing and we are suffering the consequences.  They did not know how to install a shower and did not mud up the base under the tile properly.  They did not install the drain correctly and it leaks.  They did not seal the grout in the shower making it very susceptible to water damage -- hence the water damage to the wall.  In violation of code, they used unauthorized pipes under the sink.  They disconnected a hot water accelerator and made excuses why we were now not getting hot water quickly.  If you have had remodeling by this company, you should get an inspection or be aware that you are very likely to suffer problems down the road. We now have to remove the entire shower base in order to fix this problem and bring it up to code -- to the tune of $3000.  We also had to have the pipes under the sink brought up to code.  What a mess! Chris seems nice but he is biggest BSer I have ever dealt with.  Always lies & excuses.  Beware of this company, they do not do not use licensed plumbers or electricians, their tile work leaves a lot to be desired and they really don't know what they are doing.   They have no business being on Angie's List and should be kicked off.

Wow what an awesome job. Tim (owner) came through and gave me an estimate (one of three). He was also the only one who from the start discussed getting necessary permits. He had his electrician and plumber come in and verify that the remodel COULD be done within code in the limited space I had available. The job took about 2 weeks and included 2 visits from 3 separate inspectors (electrical/mechanical, plumbing, general/overall). He was able to accommodate a couple of extra changes (venting the original full bathroom fan outside and added flooring to the kitchen and laundry room. This is a beautiful job.
