Recent Review: Joseph showed at the exact time that he said he would be there, took a few minutes to get the full instructions of what I needed him to do and before I knew it, the hole was cut in the sheetrock, the range hood was mounted and everything was cleaned up. I definitely hit the Jack Pot by finding Jack of All Trades (no pun intended). I will definitely use Jack of All Trades again in the future.

Recent Review: In general we are happy with the work that Brad did with our kitchen and laundry room. A few things did not get finished to our satisfaction - the range hood for example never quite worked right. We started off feeling very pleased with Brad and then wished in the end that the communication were a bit better. He is a capable responsible contractor.

Recent Review: Taylor is excellent.  Fair priced, does amazing work, good a follow through.   Started with adding a washer dryer connection, including electrical and plumbing in storage area of new home, he also installed vent fans in two bathrooms, added GFI outlets in two bathrooms, removed cabinets in kitchen, removed dated soffit in kitchen. Installed very cool range hood, installed cabinets (he was WAAAY cheaper than Lowes was going to charge and did much better work.  installed appliances.  removed two windows (den and master bedroom) and installed french doors to back yard.  Including redoing brick rook to make the doors look like they were original to house.  added can light in kitchen.  Taylor does amazing work and I have recommend him to my friends.  I am planning on using him to build a screen porch and deck later this year.

Recent Review: The whole experience was very good.  Mike and his employee were always friendly, professional, and punctual.  We always discussed work to be done and approximate time it would take and costs, which was always about what he advised it would be.  They are hard workers, so I always felt I got my money's worth.

Recent Review: He can do it all. Eric is always personable and helpful. He is a nice person to have on site and easy to work with. I have referred Eric many times. We were so happy with his work and creativity, that we referred him to friend who hired him to build a master suite in a garage. It is beautiful. Friends and business constituents were pleased with his work as well. I guess I have referred Eric a couple of dozen times and you will not be sorry.

Recent Review: I recently bought a 50+ year old home that had been empty for a while and was fairly neglected.  I had a long project list, and wanted one contractor to run the whole thing.  I had no problem with them sub-contracting out as needed, but I did not want to manage it myself.  So I took estimates from many "general contractors" and one from Pro Plumbing.  They don't advertise it, but Thad Hedrick IS a general contractor.  They got the bid.  It was not the money that won it, though they were in the same general ballpark as the others.  One of the things I wanted done was replacing my ancient electric cook top with a gas cook top, which would require a new gas line. Thad was the only contractor who mentioned that he would test the gas pressure to see if I needed a new meter - without sufficient pressure, I might not get what I needed with more than one gas appliance running at the same time.  That impressed me.  I don't know anything about gas, but with water, it makes sense that the more hoses you take off the same source, the less water output you get from each. Thad and his crew did all of the plumbing work, including installing a new soaking tub, new drain pipe, new gas lines, new utility sink and faucet, and new drain for the washing machine.  They also installed the cook top, and modified the wall cabinet when they removed the old oven, so both an oven and a microwave would fit in that space (this required wood work, and it turns out that Thad is also a fine carpenter).  They installed a range hood, discovered that the existing duct went straight into the attic (OH NO), and gave me a new duct. I had all the windows replaced, and eventually had the soffits covered with vinyl, vinyl siding on the sunroom, and a new sliding door installed (add-ons to the original plans).  I had insulation installed under the floor, and a new vapor barrier installed.  I had new linoleum installed in the laundry room.  There was electrical work involved with installing the stove, the new oven, and a new fireplace insert (and I had new lights installed on the sunroom soffits, with one of them in a new location).  I had the whole house air conditioner replaced, and a mini-split installed in the sunroom.  Thad's office organized all of the contractors involved, scheduling them, chasing after them, and generally making sure that the job got done.  There were days when I had 4 or 5 trucks out front and contractors all over the place from various companies. There were times during the project when I knew that something needed to be done, but I did not know what I wanted to do.  For example, I'd hoped to keep the existing tile in the bathroom when we took out the tub, but it was not possible, so I needed an alternative.  When we took out the A/C wall/window unit, I had a hole to fill and no way to match the existing finishes; I needed an idea.  Thad would talk it over with me, and usually had several options to suggest, and once I made a decision, implemented it - and all of it turned out better than I had hoped. There were also times when I decided I *might* want an add-on, and I would tell Thad what I was considering, and he would get options and costs for me, so I could decide which way I wanted to go.  In that way, the replacement windows turned into full vinyl on all exterior non-brick surfaces and I now have a maintenance free home - with new shutters too! If I had any questions or concerns, I called Anita at the office and she just handled it.  If a sub-contractor didn't show up, or I didn't like the way something was done, or didn't understand what was done, I called Anita and she took care of it.  I have never seen the woman, but there were days I spoke to her several times - when this massive project was completed, I sent her flowers. All of it cost a lot, but... given all that I had done, it cost much less than I'd expected. In addition, I simply enjoyed having Thad and Travis around - they are pleasant to be with, and seemed to be as careful with my home as they would be with their own.  I never had a huge mess left around to clean after they had been working here, and they were careful that we all were on the same page before they started doing anything. I'm impressed with Thad's expertise and with his bevy of sub-contractors.  The job got done with much less disruption than I expected.  I even got a new landscape manager out of it - I was so impressed with Thad and his familiarity with the local contractors I asked if he could recommend someone better than the mow-and-blow types I'd been using and he did - that looks like it will be a long relationship and the yard is going to be beautiful. I do have additional projects in mind, and Thad and Pro Plumbing will be the first ones I call.

Was looking for someone with experience installing Ikea cabinets and contacted Becky in February based on information on her website.  Had her do the design, which initially I wanted to match the existing layout, but Becky came out and reviewed our kitchen and came up with two alternatives - one matching the current layout, and one that moved some things around so that there was more countertop area around the stove and added a pantry cabinet.  We picked the improved design and Becky put together the order from Ikea and made sure that went smoothly. Installation started in May.  Old cabinets were custom installed (eons ago) so demo took almost two days.  After demo one wall was extended and the exhaust venting was prepped for the range hood.  Wall cabinets went in, base cabinets went in, and peninsula base was set up.  That was all the first week.   Second week Becky was there to answer questions during countertop templating.  Some parts were missing or not ordered so Becky ordered that and they came out again to install the missing items and install the cabinet toe kicks, the range hood, and some trim. Things I liked:  the new kitchen layout, the cabinets, Becky's responsiveness and experience with Ikea.  The range hood was initially installed incorrectly and was scratched, but Becky arranged to get another one and had it installed. Things I liked not as much:  there was some wall prep that wasn't completed that I had to have somebody else do, or wasn't done properly, and there is some ceiling trim that went in after the cabinets were installed where the ends above the cabinets weren't nailed down properly and there's a gap.
