Recent Review: Other than the cabinet installation all work was done quickly and efficiently by 2 men each time, with clean-up done after each day's work. The cabinet installer worked steadily but slowly and took 4 days overall. He left at noon the 2nd day but come back the following day and worked for 11 hours, which was much too long for both of us. He insisted he had to get it done THAT day. He came back for another half day when the shelves and the cabinet edging arrived a week later. I did not see the 2 dings on the cabinet edges for several days, and did not report them as they are relatively small, and I did not want the installer to come back. I have already recommend SARE to 2 friends who are considering a kitchen remodel as their price was good and overall I'm happy with the results.

Recent Review: This project was part of a kitchen remodel undertaken before putting the house up for sale.  Chris was very thorough, completing the work in timely fashion.  The results were beautiful and the house was sold to the first couple who viewed the house after it was listed.  'Nuff said!!

Recent Review: We called for an estimate on a kitchen cabinet build. We were handed over to Miranda Buxton as our design consultant. She went above and beyond to make us happy. Her ability to listen to us and incorporate small touches in her design based on those conversations was awsome!

Recent Review: We decided to remodel and enlarge our kitchen, and hired a general contractor to handle most of the work, but opted to do our own search for cabinets. We'd checked with all of the usual retailers (Lowe's Home Depot, independent kitchen & bath cabinet companies, etc.) for brands, styles and prices, and somehow found one place that was "off the radar" (doesn't advertise, doesn't hype itself in other ways) -- Asheville Cabinets. Freddy Keilman came to the rescue -- in every way. First, he "undersold" us by suggesting we select a product line that was fairly new to the market and whose products were well-built and less expensive than others. Then he came to the house, took measurements, went back to his office and custom-designed all cabinets (and enduring a lot of our requests for odd shapes). He placed the order and followed the manufacture of the cabinets through delivery.

Recent Review: Thanks to Don, Kevin, and the crew at Packard Cabinetry, our 1940s galley kitchen has been transformed into the beautiful and functional heart of our home. At the outset, Don helped us visualize the possibilities (e.g., relocate the refrigerator across the room) and patiently worked through the many options available with Packard and within our budget. As a result, we were able to anticipate a custom look that perfectly complimented the rest of our home. Working with a 63-year-old space and dimensions that were often out of square, the mastery and precision of Kevin's installation converted the plan into a reality beyond our expectations. We couldn't be more pleased with the products and the service that was available to us thanks to Packard Cabinetry here in Hendersonville.

Recent Review: Awesome service! I really wanted to salvage a good part of my kitchen, and while most wanted to talk me out of saving existing cabinets, Les worked with me creatively, offered me good ideas to think about, and in the end, we were able to come up with a happy solution for us both. He was punctual with his deadline, even early on delivery, always communicated effectively, a good listener, pleasant to have around, tidy, and happy to accommodate my additional bits and pieces i continually added to his to do list. Two thumbs up for ACM!

Reviews in Old Fort to Install Kitchen Cabinets

cabinets were full of sawdust, I think they could have clean them out. Open one box and front drawer lid fell off. Another cabinet had a large corner of cabinet chipped off where everyone could see it. Over all not real happy with them.

BKITCHENS UNLIMITED
The job went very well. We called Kitchens Unlimited first and requested an estimate for the work. A representative of the company came to our home to view our existing kitchen. He took extensive measurements and gave us a ball park estimate based on the general  type of cabinets and countertop we wanted.  We selected specific cabinets, cabinet features, countertop and countertop features shown us from Kitchen Unlimited catalogues and samples in their showroom.  We were given a detailed estimate and an approximate time line of how long the job would take and the sequence of  events to complete it. All our many questions were answered before we signed the contract. One third of the total cost was required upon signing. The remaining two thirds was paid after completion. We particularly liked that the cabinet and countertop installers were punctual, pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. They also gave us helpful information regarding the care of our new cabinets and countertop. When the cabinet installers said they couldn't reinstall our over the stove microwave oven, our contact at Kitchens Unlimited arranged for another service person to do that job.  It's fantastic to have a much improved kitchen. We would certainly recommend Kitchens Unlimited for reasonably priced, professional kitchen remodeling.

I designed the desk and cabinets and Ken Burke was able to duplicate my design. He workmanship is excellent. Great attention to detail. He matched the cabinet color with my kitchen cabinets and did a great job in duplicating the color. Would highly recommend him to anyone interested in cabinets.

FKITCHENS UNLIMITED
I went into the store to get an estimate for kitchen cabinets and countertops for the house I'm in process of building. A female employee reluctantly came over with a lousy greeting to see if I needed assistance. It felt like a huge bother to get my info. I was told somebody would get back to me for the estimate, but it NEVER happened! Lousy customer service...wouldn't want to trust them with installing kitchen cabinets. Don't waste your time at this place. They must not need any business.

Paul was excellent. He was able to start a week earlier than anticipated. He was extremely punctual and actually worked 8 or more hours a day. He was neat, personable and professional. We have recommended him to 3 neighbors and would hire him again.

I had a different person install them in March 2011. The price was very reasonable and a better quality compared to other local companies. I thought they were really great and I'm very pleased with them. I appreciated the personal attention and time that Susie gave to me when I was cleaning my kitchen. I'm very pleased with the quality and looks of the cabinets. I think their cost was very reasonable.

AForest Millwork
We were in the process of a kitchen remodel and needed new cabinets. We like the design of the old cabinets that were made by the Bishop Company so we found Forest Millwork as the Bishop dealer for the Asheville area. Joel Linn was the person we dealt with and he was great. He came out to the house and took measurements and discussed what we were looking for. About a week later he had a series of proposals with different design drawings and price ranges. The service was top notch and he never tried to sell us any features or options that we didn't want. He also came up with design ideas that we didn't think of that really improved the overall functionality and appearance of the kitchen without adding cost. What surprised us the most is that before we contacted Joel we had looked at cabinets at Lowe's and Home Depot. Forest Millwork was very competitive on price with these big box stores AND we got the personal service and design expertise of the staff. To me this is a win-win situation.
