Recent Review: Excellent!! Fernando and his team ALWAYS do quality work. We've worked with him for several years and highly recommend him. And we're pretty fussy. He can do any work you need done except for electrical and plumbing. All this and he's a nice and polite person.

Recent Review: If you are looking for professionalism and excellence, Scott is your man. We had several consultations to work out the job details, which were all documented (see above) before signing the agreement. When choosing tile, countertops, cabinetry (kitchen), Scott would meet us at the supplier and assist. His selection of subcontractors was excellent - friendly, honest, good people. Scott was ALWAYS with the crew(s) on site. He was never moving between jobs - he does only one job at a time and sticks with it until completion. Scott required that all floors be covered while workers were on site and everything was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. At the end of the job, ALL trash was removed. Scott allowed me to handle selected small jobs to keep my cost down. He also allowed me to purchase large hardware pieces (bath cabinets, bath tub, light fixtures, mirrors, range hood, kitchen sink, faucets, etc) to save money. We did make a change to the job description - when looking over countertop material, we decided to with a crystal composite rather than granite. This change did not negatively affect anything. Before starting the job, Scott provided a detailed calendar showing us exactly when each crew would be on site. He stuck to the schedule very well. This was very valuable to us. We are 100% happy with the completed job. All work is the highest quality. I will definitely use Scott for any future remodeling work. I really enjoy working with him.

Reviews in Ocracoke for Installing Shower Doors

AAMMONS GENERAL CARPENTRY
Mr. Ammons was prompt to get back to me with an estimated day that he could do the job. He had been very busy working overtime on other jobs, but was still willing to put me on his schedule that week. Mr. Ammons called me the night before to confirm his arrival time. I mentioned that I needed some caulking done, too, and he said he'd stop by the hardware store on his way and purchase it. He and his assitant arrived earlier that quoted which was great for us! Prior to starting the removal of the existing shower door, Mr. Ammons double-checked to make sure the shower door I had ordered would actually fit. We were a bit uncertain there for a moment, but Mr. Ammons decided that the measurements would in fact work and proceded with the job. I'm thankful he didn't just remove the shower door and then possibly find out otherwise! I left for an appointment and returned later that morning. They were still working on the job. It took about four hours to complete the removal and installation of the shower doors, remove the existing and install a new shower arm, plus the extensive amount of caulking that had to be done in two full bathrooms. I think it was definitely money well spent and would not hesitate to call him again.

FMid-Atlantic Contracting Services Inc
He started work in mid-September and did not finish until mid-December! Three months for a bathroom that measures about 50 sq. ft. The tilework was sloppy and was not aligned properly, he installed mis-matched sink and toilet, the wron shower doors, and left the ductwork for the exhaust fan laying open in the attic, not vented to the outside. He then presented a bill for $4,950, claiming that he did more work than was estimated. I had paid for all the materials and fixtures, so his cost was strictly labor. He agreed to take $150 off for the work he never completed, such as the wall cabinet, shower bar and threshold installations. Overall very poor quality, slow delivery and inaccurate estimates. Look elsewhere for your contractor.

AEcoView Windows NC & Luxury Bath & Kitchens
The owner Michael came out to see the proposed project. He told us exactly what work was involved. He sent out his worker, John who was extremely professional. He took great care in covering the floors and stairs he would be walking on. He created very little mess in his work area and was protective of areas outside of his work area. He was here two days and both days he worked constantly. When he was finished, he reviewed his work with us and it was exactly as we expected.

AB CASSIDY HOME IMPROVEMENT
Mr. Cassidy was very professional from start to finish. He was very prompt and on time to give his estimate. He was ready to give me a call anytime he had a question to make sure he could do it right the first time. He listened and was very thoughtful about any concerns we had and worked to come up with the best solution. They were very clean and did their best to keep dust down to a minimum. It was completed in the time frame we were given and we would definitely use his services again.
