The owner, Roy Faulkenberry was very professional and courteous. He provided an accurate esitmate and all the work was ultimately completed satisfactorily. There were a few times when I was told I would receive a call back or email on a certain day, but ended up having to follow up myself. In each instance there was a good "excuse" -- illness, unforeseen circumstances. That's fine, but it was still a little annoying having to stay on top of things myself. I am very happy with the roof. The work was completed in a timely manner and the crew was very skilled. They were able to find a solution for an area that had caused problems for years. The new roof looks great and there have been no problems with the job so far. I'm not as satisfied with the crew that worked on the gutters and exterior repairs. While the gutters turned out great, there were numerous issues getting the other work done. My guidance at the onset was, "Inspect all the soffit, facia, and trim and repair/replace as needed." On three occasions I had ended up having to point out problem areas to the crew myself -- "What about that section right there? Don't you think that looks bad?" And then I got, "Oh yeah ... we'll take care of that." Their first attempt at replacing trim on the chimney stack was aweful. When Roy inspected it, he agreed, was very apologetic and had the crew redo it. Overall I'm satisfied with the end result. Roy genuinely cares about quality of work and customer satisfaction. It's unfortunate that the one crew required such close supervision to meet the standard.
