Reviews in New Bern for Security Camera Installation
AADT Authorized Premier Provider
Lee installed a system to my house with ease and comfort. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Lee and his assistant were attentive and resourceful. They made sure that I had everything in question, answered. After installment, we had a problem with the main panel beeping. I was able to give them a text and they responded quick with a troubleshoot fix.

At start, it looked like we got a good deal by using a local company. But as time passed, we realized that we are loosing much more money in lack of professionalism that this company has to offer. After the initial installation, the installer, Ray, decided just not to show up for rest of the cameras. He has the original invoice and camera model etc, so we were stuck with getting remote access to cameras that we need. And he took some cameras that he never returned or bothered to pay for. The lack of response by phone is also something that created problems for us. We have been leaving message at his office, cell phone and texting as well, not response. We will have to pay another company to fix what he left incomplete and do rest of the things. I would never work with this company again, please be careful. And never make full payment unless you are satisfied.

APhoenix Custom Systems
The staff at Phoenix Customs Systems were very knowledgeable and provided me with several options to fit my needs. I decided that an alarm and camera system was best because my husband often works out of state. On the install date, Phoenix Custom Systems showed up on time and were very professional. I am very pleased with my new security system and love that I can access my cameras and alarm system with my smart phone. I am one satisfied customer.

Very well. Technicians were very professional and polite. The salesman was one of the most professional contractors we dealt with overall. The response time for any technical repair is from same day to one day. We also use them in our business for our commercial alarm applications and they are very professional and prompt. When we had an issue with the phone lines after a storm, Power home sent their top technician to fix the problem.

The work turned out pretty good. The gentleman that came over to give us the quote on the security system was very upfront, and very honest. The customer service was really top notch.

They did a great job for us. It's been about 4 years since we used them. The guys were very professional, very knowledgeable and very helpful. During the first year, I called with a couple of issues and they were able to help me out. They were very knowledgeable about their system. It was a very good experience. The price included the set up, equipment and first month. They drilled a few holes in the wall and cleaned up. They did a great job. They had to come back out because the antenna they put in the first time didn't work but it was great service after they put the new antenna in.

They did a fabulous job. They put everything through the walls and didn’t make a mess. They didn’t make a mess and we can use that remotely to turn on the alarm and check it from Connecticut before we move in. It's a smaller company and he's been doing it a long time.

BVector Security Raleigh
They had their own service people. The installation and everything was free because we agreed to put their sign in our yard. I have been getting phone calls from all the other security companies asking me if they could come by and put a sign in our yard. They told me that they were doing advertising and that they would do it for free. However, I was under a contract with Vector Security Raleigh. They would call when the alarm goes off. Their people are absolutely wonderful. If you have a little vacuum cleaner they would clean their mess up. My husband worked for a big company for thirty four years which was about forty miles from my house and he retired this year. The company that he worked for would purchase a brand new front door when their employees retired. They would write a check for $400. We had the old door up when they installed the security system. I told them that we would be getting a new front door and they said that we could call them when we get it. They would come out and put the little thing where we could set the alarm when we close the door. We could call them and they would put that up without any problem. We got the new door put in and I called them. They called back and told me that they had forgotten to tell me that it would cost $89. I told them that I would pass on that. I also told them that they could forget about it and move the alarm to the front door. I was going to have a storm door that would lock and nobody would be able to get in which had to make an awful lot of noise. It had to be really quiet. I got a courtesy call from them two weeks after that to check as to how we liked their system and if we were happy with them. I explained the situation to her that I was not happy at all as I paid $40 a month which I thought was very high and I could not even alarm my front door. I told them that I was told to call them and that they would come out to put it up. She said that she would call her supervisor and call me back. They called me back in probably less than half an hour. They told me that someone would be there the next morning to install it and I did not owe them a dime.

The estimate done 3/2/2011 was detailed and free. Installation was done on 3/7/2011 and was performed by John Melton, one of the two owners of the company, and two very capable assistants. They did an extremely professional job. Absolutely no mess and all lines were "fished" through the walls so no wiring is visible except in the attic where it does not matter. John has years of experience in this field and extensive prior experience as a telephone engineer so he really knows what he is doing. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. He spent as much time as I needed to explain the system to me. He will bill me - did not require payment as soon as the job was complete which is nice. Note that Allied Security is not a large company and they do not accept credit cards.
Recent Review: The service was okay. The install took a little time. I felt that what was advertised, and what I received wasn’t exactly what I ordered. I think I should’ve been given the choice if I wanted that product, or if I wanted something different. They workers were professional, and they worked as long as they could to finish the job. I would recommend them to others
Recent Review: I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- (www.facebook.com/professionalhandymanservices). He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great!
Recent Review: Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away.
Recent Review: It started with the name Pinnacle. It started going downhill maybe when somebody else bought it. My husband picked them. He had a cold call and then he went with it. I think we had another system at that time.
Recent Review: Camera quality and clarity is what sold us on getting our security system with ADT. They were able to show us a quick demo before we agreed to buying. Appreciated being able to see the products in action before having to commit. Thought that what we paid was fair and competitive.
