ABridgeport Restoration Services
I recommend these companies as we are in a business. I used them to go in and deal with a problem when I have a client that has a problem. They dealt with some water damage on vinyl. I would give them an A rating all the way though. I would use them again.

AServpro of Davie and Yadkin Counties
We use them in the Western part of our area. It was last year, so I can't remember, but it was probably in November. They dealt with water damage. I believe it was around $7000. It wasn't that much. I would give them an A rating in all the categories. I would use them again.

AMatrix Painting Inc
It went very well for the trimming. The sheetrock was still wet so they have to comeback and they didn't charge me the second time that they came out. I'm also a general contractor, we are realtor and we are referring them to our clients.

APiedmont Property Solutions
I called John with Piedmont Property Solutions after my home was flooded due to a malfunctioning washing machine. He and a crew showed up within 15 minutes and completely cleaned up all the water throughout my kitchen, living room, dining room, hallway and bathroom. They were also able to save my carpet from any long term damage so I didn't have to replace it like I feared. John went above and beyond and hauled off the old washing machine and even came back to install my new machine. They made sure I knew I had nothing to worry about because they were going to take care of everything. I'll never use anyone but John and his great crew.

ASERVICE MASTER HIGH POINT
They are one of the go to people. I work with them continually. I gave them a recent job a month ago for water issues in the basement. I would give them an A for all categories. They are good. I would use them again.

AOld School Home Repair LLC
I scheduled an estimate over the phone. Jerry showed up right on time. He reviewed our problem and recommended several solutions including preventative measures to alleviate the possibility of recurrence. He also noticed another minor issue with our front door and offered a reasonable solution. The quote was sent via email and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. Jerry did the work on time and perfectly on budget. The repair went exactly as expected. We even decided to discuss a few other repairs and the quote was given on the spot. Again I was pleasantly surprised at the price. We will definitely use them again! Happy girl!

AJack of All Trades
All I will say is that after interactions with many other "Handymen" throughout the years, I was more than pleasantly surprised that: 1. He showed up! And on time. 2. He knew how to do the work. No excuses. 3. He charged a fair rate. I am very happy that I called Jack. I would heartily recommend him to anyone. However, the way his phone kept ringing I am pretty sure that the secret is already out.

AHouse Doctors
Martin responded to my initial call very quickly and agreed to meet me that afternoon for an estimate on the work at the house where the job would take place. He arrived right on time and spent a good amount of time going over the jobs I needed performed. Not only did he give me an estimate on the work, but he gave me advice on small repairs that he thought I could do myself. After the initial meeting, he sent me an estimate via e-mail. One of the jobs was to lay vinyl flooring in a kitchen area which had a lot of torn vinyl done by a renter in the house. I did not want to lay vinyl across a wide expanse which included vinyl that extended into a dining area, so Martin figured a way that just the area with all the damage could be replaced in an aesthetically pleasing way. Martin sent me suggestions of flooring via e-mail which I could then see for myself by going to the nearby home improvement stores. He understood that I wanted to keep the cost on materials as low as possible but not lose quality. After I agreed on flooring we set a date for the work. He was booked for about 2 weeks out, so we settled on a date. On the day the work was to be done, Martin arrived with everything he needed to get the job done. Before he laid the new vinyl flooring, he took up the old vinyl and repaired some loose plywood areas. He did a great job of laying the new vinyl and joining it to the existing vinyl that led out of the kitchen into the dining area. In addition to the flooring, he replaced the wooden bottom board under the kitchen sink. The old board had gotten warped and damaged by a constant leak into that area (former renters had let that happen and not reported it to the owners). He had an ingenious way of replacing that board and making it look like new. All in all I was more than satisfied with Martin's work. I would hire him again and will recommend him to anyone who would need a general all-round repair specialist (and I imagine he could do work on new houses too).
