Recent Review: Chris and his assistant arrived on time, provided a fair estimate, and worked efficiently and thoroughly. They took pains to meet our expectations and completely cleaned up afterward. They were smart and friendly. They were working for six hours, but only had to turn off the power to one circuit in the house, and even that was only off for 5 minutes! Previous electricians were not as expert (the power had to be turned off for hours). You won't be disappointed if you hire Custom Electric!

Recent Review: Between the time we originally got our proposal and the time we had installation, we had a financial issue and had to make some changes on what we had done. Mike was wonderful with working with us and scaling back on a few things.  Mike and his assistant were great. They showed up when they said they would, they worked hard, and answered all our questions. We are so pleased with all our lighting. We wonder why we didn't do deck lighting sooner, but are glad we waited to get someone like Mike to do the job. We will definitely call him again when we're ready to put in additional lights. We would HIGHLY recommend Mike at Custom Landscape Lighting.

Recent Review: It went great and looks fantastic.  Jim Branley does first class work and great worksmanship.  This job involved him for almost 4 days and with an assistant for 3 of those days.  Jim is very cost conscious for the customer and told me some of the prep work I could do ahead of time (removing old fixtures and wiring, some wall paneling and installing mounts in the greenhouse for the receptacles) and afterwards (fill trench).  Because of it being a greenhouse, with a humid environment, the electrical code and requirements are more stringent (and costly) than a normal residence.   He answers all your questions and checks in by text before arriving each day.  We will definitely have him back for our future electrical needs.

I called Custom Electric of NC before even purchasing replacement backyard flood lights, and they were able to give me some advice on picking out new lights (amount of lumens, etc.). Once I did get the new lights, I called them back to schedule the installation and they were able to fit me in on the day that was convenient to me. Unfortunately, that day ended up being rainy, and because the work was to be done outside, they called to see about changing the work time. They actually checked a doppler radar to find the clearest time of the day and the worker came out at that time...such great service!!! They are professional, kind, customer-oriented, and all around the best electricians I've ever hired. This was the second time I've used them, and I will continue to whenever a new need arises.

ACUSTOM LANDSCAPE LIGHTING
Custom Landscape Lighting did a terrific job. Mike consulted with me before and during the installation and was open to design suggestuions from me while offering outstaning ideas that hadn't occured to me. The whole installation and maintenance was completed in about six hours. The system was checked out thoroughly with minor adjustments made here and there. Great attention to detail. They cleaned up the area competely after the installation work was done. Mike Boland is an experienced landcape designer whi knows about horticulture and has an excellent eye for the selection and placement of lights. I have used him for our landscape lighting on several occassions; he designed and installed an extensive landscape design for our back yard that perfectly supplemented what already existed in the front.I came across Custom Landscape Lighting when I needed work done on the system four years ago and discovered that he had acquired the company that did the original lighting.
