Recent Review: Mark and team are fantastic. After my initial contact he was out to inspect the needed work in a few days and then had the team on site the next week. All work was completed in three days. The crew was professional, courteous and performed exceptional work. The staircase replacement corrected problems we had from the initial installation (too steep, risers too high, fasteners were nails so boards started to come up) and now is a thing of beauty. Even the dog ramp is 100% better - Mark offered that since he had enough materials he could make it wider. Now it is a very study well made ramp for our pups. Fantastic work and I will not hesitate to call him again when we need some work done.

Recent Review: I  had a ramp built for elderly renters.  I used a local person from church.  The work was substandard and potentially dangerous for the couple who rent the property.  After signing up with Angie's list.  My husband and I found several highly recommended individuals.  We selected Andy on Call.  After sending photos of current, ramp.  We received a  quote, coordinated the project and received an excellent finished product on time and within the estimated quote. Thank you Andy on Call and Thank you Angie's list.

Recent Review: He did an excellent job. I am most impressed with the fact that he will work with veterans to get the job done. He was hard working and professional. He is very friendly and trustworthy.

Recent Review: Excellent!! Fernando and his team ALWAYS do quality work. We've worked with him for several years and highly recommend him. And we're pretty fussy. He can do any work you need done except for electrical and plumbing. All this and he's a nice and polite person.

Recent Review: Really ? I am not being paid to write this review, I am just that happy with this contractor, John Simpson of Simpson?s Home Improvements. From the beginning of the process to the end, John is attentive to his customer. I found that he responds in a timely manner to phone calls and emails. John was prompt in showing up for the initial meeting and took his time to walk thru the different projects I had in mind taking notes and measurements. Simpson?s estimates were reasonable, neither the most nor least costly based on the other estimates I received, and at the end of my various projects I felt that I received more than my money?s worth. John is also good at project management, laying out the day?s work objectives. I was happy to see that he gave his crew a chance to learn new skills (i.e. grouting tile) but under his supervision. John also has a great crew working for him. Despite my inability to describe what I wanted, the crew came up with the right solution/look when replacing my landscape timbers.  I had to wait almost two months because of his very busy schedule, and the work itelf took almost 4 weeks, but it was worth the wait.  I was very pleased with everything. Bottom line ? I would hire Simpson?s Home Improvement again.

AChris Tomczak's Handyman Services
I have 2 decks, one in front and a larger one off the upper part of the house in the back. One of the decks had been painted and one stained, one was red and one brown. I had just purchased the home and it was obvious the decks had not been treated for quite some time. When Chris came out to estimate the job he was the only one to include sanding the wood on both decks as well as pressure cleaning before he put any product on the wood. I also wanted a section of the upper deck screened in which required building a partition with a screen door for access. While he was working on the stairs leading up to the second story deck he noticed that the stair landing was separating from the wall, he brought that to my attention and was able to repair it. I also had him move a storm door from the upper deck, at the kitchen, to the basement entry door and when he was doing that he noticed that the kitchen door was not plumb in the frame he was also able to fix that for an additional, but fair, charge. I am very happy with the completed project and have received compliments on my "new" decks and the screened in "room". I would recommend Chris and would use him for future projects.

Recommended to me by a friend. Trust him so much he has a Lowe's Credit Card in my name. All of his work resulted in an appraisal of almost 200k for my cabin and refinancing of mortgage at 2.625% rate. What else do you want me to say?

Bob's work was constant, quality, efficient, clean, fairly priced and completed on schedule.  I can't say enough positive about his performance and I will continue to contract him as needed!  And, he is very accommodating.

Clay was very busy when I first called and told me he'd get back to me the following week.  He did exactly that.  He told me he'd come out to look at the job and see what needed to be done.  He said he'd get prices and call me.  He emailed me to let me know the approximate material costs and labor and when he expected to begin work.  All in a timely manner.  He arrived with a crew of 5 men when he said he would.  Within a day, the major portion of the work was completed.  Efficiently, in a workman like manner, cheerfully executed, and all in a very pleasant atmosphere.  His men were knowledgeable, respectful, helpful and competent.  There was a problem or two that arose, nothing serious, and Clay promised to be out on Monday of the Labor Day holiday weekend.  His men had finished work the previous Thursday.  So nice to know someone can be depended on.  My friends have already told me they want his number.

AShamus
There are several jobs Shamus has done for me. He always comes to evaluate what needs to be done. He will sometimes suggest ways to approach a project that I had no though of, which ends up making the result better than I anticipated. He will give me an estimate. We will then discuss when the work will be done. If necessary he will get supplies or sometime I get supplies, depends on what is being done. He shows up when he is supposed to and works while he is here. Most of the time no one is home while he is working at my home. I find him very trustworthy.
