Recent Review: They go through the garage floor and put it underground. They were very clean and punctual. They were very professional and power washed everything before and after. It was perfect. We have recommended them and would definitely use them again.

Recent Review: Mr. Blevins was supposed to build a small addition to our house. He begged for the work and made very reasonable bid. Once he was halfway through the job he decided that he had not asked for enough money and quit paying the workmen and subcontractors. He even stopped showing up on the site.  He never paid the plumber, the painter, or the electrician. He kept the money we gave him and added a picnic shelter to his own property. We wound up paying and supervising the workmen so they would continue to work. Mr. Blevins and his wife asked us for money several timesduring this process. When I filed in the small claims office, the lady laughed and told me we were wasting our money because he had been sued so many times that it was no use to try

I am pleased with how all 3 of the projects turned out.   1.Our storm door handle/lock was replaced and now the door now closes completely -problem solved.   2.The old and broken pull down ladders to two attics were removed and hauled away.  Ladders were replaced, and since the molding around the entryway no longer fit, the molding was replaced and painted.  3.Several outlets were changed to GFCI outlets He was efficient, had reasonable rates, and communicated well about his reporting time.  Jobs well done!

CRight Now Contractors Inc
Overall, the inspection of the home as well as taking Stephen to another home to view, was very pleasant. I had high hopes to do work with this company. I made it clear to Stephen that I had the expectation to have my quotes together and prepare contracts by months end (3 weeks from the time they were at my home). I have yet to hear from anyone at the company. I have called Stephen twice, both times being told that they would get the quote done soon. Most recently Stephen was on vacation (which I respect and do not expect to have him do work while on personal time) and said to me "We have been busy with all of the storms". My wife and I are prepared to spend $20-25K (A LOT of money to myself and my family) for work on our home. I was disappointed with the lack of response, as I said before I had high hopes and expectations for Stephen, and RNC. The only reason I chose not to rate RNC lower was due to the amount of detail that was put into a rendering for accurate quoting. However, one month with no contact after the fact is not acceptable. Thank You.

FNEWMART BUILDERS
I contracted with Newmart Builders Inc. based in South Hill Virginia to provide and install one 20' x 21' metal posted double carport. What I received was inarguably the most inept installation I have ever saw or witnessed.  I have been in the construction and mechanical trades for 46 years so I know what I got was a terrible installation.  It is out of level, out of square and out of plumb. When I asked them to level it I was told "that wasn't in the original price and would cost $150.00 extra".  The anchor bolts weren't tightened down and the metal trim looks absurd.  Almost a dozen screws that secure the metal roof to the arch spans missed entirely and I'm more than certain this will be a leak issue in the future.  My 11 year old grand daughter could have done a better job installing the trim.  The installing crew consisted of three of the foulest mouthed most inappropriately dressed young men I have ever been around.  Cursing and dropping more "F" bombs than I've heard in awhile.  When asked to watch their language I was almost totally ignored.  One of the young men had on a pair of shorts that did very little to cover his butt.  When we ordered this carport two of the big selling points would be the wait time for the install was only two weeks as opposed to six for everywhere else and it was "American workers using American steel". What we got was an almost to the day nine weeks wait and most certainly "American workers" based on their looks and language.  I am so disgusted with the overall lack of quality of the installation we received I almost wish a wind storm or hail storm would take it out of my driveway so I could start over and get what I paid for.  About 10 years ago I purchased a single carport to keep my tractor under and it was installed by Hispanic workers.  Trust me when I write this I'd take them 1000 to 1 over what I got out of these redneck white boys.
