Recent Review: They paid attention to details and they were here when they said they would be here although I didn't have a project with them and set my expectations right. They are prompt. They showed up when they were expected. Their pricing was competitive, but they were not the cheapest ones. They were also willing to provide detailed information on how much they were using. They were generally good.

ATartaglia Renovations LLC
We cannot say enough about the amazing experience we had with Tartaglia Renovations. We were absolutely blown away by the end results of our master bathroom renovation! It far exceeded our expectations! Matt and Britney are both amazing. Matt is the consummate professional ensuring that our every need was met. He delivered everything he promised and more. When we decided to use a deck mount rather than a floor mount faucet for our tub, he personally designed the layout and built the needed table top. His estimated deadlines were always spot on (and sometimes even earlier than anticipated). Matt worked to give us the highest quality product at a very competitive price. We were especially pleased with his neat and orderly work style. Although we were prepared to live in a "work zone" during the project, we found the opposite to be true. Matt left everything clean and tidy each day. He took care of every little detail. It was an absolute pleasure working with him and Britney. Although we were thrilled to have our bathroom finished at the end, we were sad to see them go. We HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. You will not be disappointed. We look forward to working with them again on our kitchen renovation.

ATILE BY CHRIS
Chris did an excellent job with our bathroom renovation from the tile work to the plumbing and all other details. He did a complete renovation for us from demolition of the old bathroom down to bare walls and installation of a complete finished new bathroom with tile shower and floors His work is of excellent quality with care for all details. He was pleasant to work with, flexible with any requests, neat, clean,on time, and caring for our home. All work was done in a professional manner and we are truly pleased with the result. Finding a quality fair priced honest contractor is not easy and in this respect Chris is "Gem" of a find.

BATHROOM RENOVATION NIGHTMARE! We have never felt so taken advantage of and disappointed in a company’s work ethics. Everything went wrong – from the first subcontractor being unable to provide renovation work that is up to industry standards, to being overcharged, to numerous broken promised of delivery dates, to the company not cleaning up after themselves. (Images below are from the 1st subcontractors work and the mess that they left behind.) The company sent out a sub-contractor who later was determined unable to renovate the bathroom up to the industry standard. After the 4th day of the demo, the subcontractor was able to completely open up the main floor and all of the shower walls. Ben Sr. (Owner) at that point provided an additional pricing quote because the wood beams needed to be replaced. I agreed to the additional price and signed off on it after receiving a revised updated quote with the updated work of scope. Once the sub-contractor started to install the tiles that we provided, we noticed the work was being done incorrectly. We brought this to Ben Sr. and Collin’s attention and Ben Sr. eventually came and checked on the project which caused a dispute with the 1st subcontractor. Eventually, the company sent out 2 new subcontractors to re-demo and correct the bathroom. According to the contract: “all work would be installed according to industry standard. Any charges, additions or extras in either labor or material provided hereunder shall be at an agreed price and first approved in writing by both Owners and Contractor.” – Originally the company agreed to provide the shower tiles and the main floor tiles - which we picked out because our salesman brought us samples to choose from, however, in the end - we ended up buying our own tiles. Ben Sr. (owner) agreed that he would give us a credit back on the tile since we bought the tiles instead of having the company provide it. He advised that all we had to do was provided a receipt and make sure that whatever tile we purchased was under $4/per sq. ft. During the process, I informed that the 1st sub-contractor did not remove the current shower fixtures which completely ruined the current material. I informed that we have the converted shower adjustment that we bought that we can use. Ben Sr. told us that it would cost $1500 additional if they did the shower adjustment. I informed Ben Sr. that $1500 was too high for just adjusting the shower head up and declined the service verbally and through email. My dad and brother ended up doing this work scope that night. (We have a recording/pictures of us doing this scope of work to adjust the showerhead.) - The 2nd subcontractor to sign a written statement that stated that they did not do this scope of work. On the last day of completion, I called and inform Collin that the bathroom was completed and offered to pay that day, however, I needed the $1500 to be taken off along with the tiles fees because we purchased all of the tiles. Collin then stated that what Ben Sr. meant was that the additional $1500 was for the shower wall demolition and repair. I informed Collin that we never had a conversation about an additional $1500 for shower wall demolition and repairs. The only conversation we had about $1500 was for the shower adjustment - which we declined verbally and in writing. Also pointed out that the quote that they sent us after we declined the service stated that the $1500 was for “plumbing” – not “shower wall demolition and repair.” At this point, American Dream Home Remodeling sent us multiple different quotes changing the wordings and amount. I printed off all quotes for my record. I only authorized and approved the first 2! In the end, we paid the full balance to make the nightmare go away because we determined that American Dream Home Remodeling was NOT worth our time in small claims court. We will never consider American Dream Home Remodeling for any of our future home projects.

AUpdates By Nate Handyman Service LLC
It was a pleasure having Nate work in my home. He was courteous, punctual, professional, and kept me apprised of his work as he went along - what he had completed, and what he planned to complete the next day. The quality of his work was excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody.

AFinishing Touches Construction
Roger and his crew had done painting for us in August of 2012, and it was then I learned that his company did all types of work.  He came highly reviewed by someone with particular taste, so I knew he would be who I wanted to renovate our outdated master bathroom.  Roger promptly provided me with a quote and answered my questions regarding materials needed, etc.  Although I ordered most of my own supplies, Roger guided me toward specific products I needed and picked up materials that I could not get on my own (bathtub, heating element for the floor, tile I had ordered, etc.).   Roger and his crew could not have been more professional or pleasant to work with.  His crew was ALWAYS timely and was entirely respectful of me and my family, and maintaining the cleanliness of our house as best they could during the renovation.  Roger followed a plan that had been drawn by a local architect and he made the design from paper to reality seamlessly.  When the owner of a local glass company came to measure the for shower door, he noted to us that the shower floor was the most level he had ever seen in his 35+ years of installation.   All of Roger's crew must be experts because their attention to detail was impeccable.  If Roger thought something could be done better, he and his crew always did it, even if it meant re-doing something they had just finished. We thought Roger and his crew were so fantastic that we decided to renovate another bathroom when they were finishing up the first one.  His crew moved a wall, laid tile, updated plumbing, added lighting, moved interior wall studs in addition to demolition and other handyman services.  They were ready for anything, even within a moment’s notice. As many nice things that I can say about Roger's crew (and they were all excellent), Roger is one of the best examples of a professional that you will ever meet.  He wants to make things perfect so that his client is happy, but he does it in a very easy-going manner.  Everybody needs a Roger Garcia! Since our family met Roger and his crew last year, we would want no one else to do work in our home and we are so fortunate that he was recommended to us.

ASal's Contracting, Inc
Sal was contracted to do my bathroom shower renovation. He was punctual and professional. He explained what he would going to do and some pitfalls when i mentioned I wanted to expand my shower. He was honest and let me know it may not look like you want it because of the changes I requested. He also gave me feedback on some of my material choices so I could obtain the right kind of materials. I gave him a B on cost because we had a disagreement on a previous conversation installing shower and shower plate. They way he explained it was the same as what was on the proposal. I had to pay additional money to have a plumber come in and install new pipes for my shower. There were other problems we had with the remodeling job but it was not Sal's fault. One was related to the plumbing anyway. the pipes were rusted where the adapter was located. i would have had to spend the money anyway on a plumber. During every issue I had, Sal took the time to explain what was happening and let me know the potential consequences of doing the extra work. Sal took care of the changes that were necessary. It cost me extra for those issues but that was not a problem. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work Sal and his crew performed. I would definitely hire him again.

ALake Norman Tile and Renovations, INC
This is an update to my previous review. I am currently working with this contractor to renovate my bathroom. Initially, we had some communication challenges, but that has been overcome and we are moving forward to getting started on the job. Daniel has been very responsive and has accompanied me to make tile choices. He has been an invaluable help to me as I make my choices. I will update review when job is complete.

AGlorified Flooring
Ben and his team at Glorified Flooring did a fantastic job for us!  Great service and quality for the price.  We renovated a Master bathroom complete with new floor tile, a new tiled shower, hardware, painting and granite countertops.  There were subcontractors involved for certain parts of the project, but it felt seamless and well-organized.  The tile was laid by hand, piece by piece, but it looks perfect!  Each person we encountered was friendly and courteous.  The quote we received from Glorified Flooring was considerably less than another "A" Rated company on Angie's List we had used before.  Do your homework and shop around!  We are glad we did.  We would use Glorified Flooring again for other renovations. Especially flooring or a kitchen that needed expert tile installation.
