Fa plus patio and screen
Not well. He was prompt on coming out and giving us an estimate, which was fairly priced, but after the work was done, the porch leaked in numerous spots. We called to get him to come out to take a look, it took him over a month to even return the call. Then he sent his son out to "fix" it. Still leaked. We called and left several messages, he would return our calls sporadically, and always had some excuse as to why he couldn't return, said he wrecked his truck, then went out of town, then was busy on another job. After about 4 months we finally gave up. The porch has ALWAYS leaked. Due to improper drainage, the gutters were more prone to getting clogged. We do clean the gutters once a year, but last week half of the porch collapsed, broke our patio furniture, our grill. We called Dwight to see if he would come out and give us an estimate for repairs. He returned our call once, gave us a time he could come out, at 230 in the afternoon. Well my husband was at work and I had to go pick up my daughter from school, so we asked for a different time. We've left him 2 messages since then and have yet to hear back from him. Don't bother giving this guy your business. Once you've paid him he's done with you.

Joey was recommended to us. We called him and he gave us an estimate for the deck and pen. He did so well on that we had him build us the ramp. He even took it upon himself to install wood blocks in our existing porch railing to help us get rid of an annual wasp problem.

Everything went great! They were very nice and considerate of the things I asked to be done and the way that they did things! Very polite and reasonably priced! I will definitely have them do more work at my home.

We hired Tony for the above job through Strong Roofing. We've since hired Tony to perform some non-roofing jobs around our house. Tony is punctual, responsive (via text and phone), polite and a nice guy. He is one of the VERY few home improvement guys I feel comfortable being in the house with alone. He knows what needs to be done an offers options on how to fix it. He stands by his work. After he made the repairs, he called me after the next couple rainstorms to make sure nothing was leaking and all was well. I feel like I'm getting a trusted uncle to do the work for us--vice a guy who wants a quick buck. He understands building customer relationships for the long haul is the way to make a living. And he's right! He's done a great job on everything, so we keep calling him for other things that have nothing to do with roofing. He also cleans up EVERYTHING around the house. After working on a job, there's no sign that he has ever been here. He's like a ninja! He swoops in, fixes things and cleans up any evidence. We had a window leak last night. I texted Tony at 8:30 p.m. and asked if he could come check it out to recommend what to do--short term and long term. He said he'd be at the house at 7 a.m. and he was here at 7 a.m. on the dot! He suggested to caulk it for the short-term while my husband and I figure out what to do long-term. He's going to try to make it back after the sun dries out the window a bit to caulk it up, which will buy us a few days' afternoon thunderstorms as we figure out what to do with this old house. Tony has my strongest recommendation. (I wish I knew Tony before we had Handyman HouseTechs out. Tony has fixed nearly everything Handyman was paid to fix.)

Very professional from the estimator - Colin Lovelace - to the foreman on the job - Greg Spencer......to the guys that worked on the crew.  They came in, did the work, cleaned up, and did a fantastic job.  We could not be happier with the quality of the work, and the experience we had. I would highly recommend these guys, and in fact are going to have them come back and build a roof line addition off the side of our home as well.

ADecorative Concrete Designs
We have a covered/screened porch that had old paint that was starting to chip in places and we weren't thrilled with the color.   We tried to sand the chipped areas and apply a new coat of floor paint, however it started to peel up after a few days.   Turns out the original paint was oil-based and of course just about all paint today is latex.   We tried all sorts of methods to remove the paint and get down to the base concrete surface, including a pressure washer (which worked, but made a total mess). We called DCD and Elliot came out to show us samples of work his company has performed, took measurements and provided color samples.   He recommended grinding off the old paint and applying an overlay, which could be stained just about any color we wanted.   We chose Bronze to highlight our different shades of red brick. Elliot and his crew came out and hung plastic sheeting over our French Doors and porch screens and the dust removal system they use worked really well.   They ground down both areas and applied the overlay in a few hours.   They were very professional and efficient in their work. It took about a week for our paint order to arrive, and once it did, Elliot came out to stain the areas.  He sanded the surfaces smooth, taped off all the edges and applied the stain and sealer.   It was exactly the look we had imagined...different shades, highlights and some of the swirls of the trowel used to apply the overlay. We couldn't be more pleased with the results!

FExpert Renovations
They cancelled on appointment and did not show up for another. When they finally came to our house we did not get an estimate that day. It was several weeks before we received one estimate on our fence. The estimate was for almost $3000 which was double another estimate we received while waiting. They wanted to no immediately if we wanted them to do the job even though it took them weeks to simply give us one estimate. We did not respond and would never contact them again.

Estimate price was within reason, but a lower estimate for the same work from a comparable company was selected.

Recent Review: After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. Everything went smoothly and contractor commented on how easy the windows went in. After three full seasons of use we still enjoy the product and we're pleased that we chose this as part of our porch renovation. It has added several additional months to our porch usage in our short Minnesota summer seasons. I highly recommend this product for any new screen porch or porch renovation job!

Recent Review: My experience with A Plus Patio and Screen was outstanding! The owner Dwight Blythe came out personally to provide an estimate at exactly the time he stated he would be there.  He was very informative and was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. This pricing is very competitive and reasonable.  His crew was very punctual and worked full days until the job was completed. They were also very polite, courteous and professional. The results were excellent and I am very happy I went with his company. A couple of days after completion (and after payment) Mr.Blythe personally called me again to make sure that I was satisfied with the job. He reminded me there was a five year warranty on all his work. He urged me to call him if any issues developed. I strongly recommend A Plus Patio and Screen to Anyone in need of their services. RP
