Recent Review: They were very presentable and they were wonderful overall. We did not know that we had replacement shingles in our basement after they came I found them. The shingles they used did not match but they did their job and they did the repair and the leak has stopped. They were professional and responsive. They price was reasonable as well.

Recent Review: Midwest representative (Marcus Eckstrom) inspected my roof and found extensive hail damage. I contacted my insurance company who immediately sent an adjuster to my home. Mr. Eckstrom showed the damage to the adjuster. The adjuster submitted a report and within a couple of days my insurance company approved the claim. Midwest wasn't able to begin work for about a week because of snow in the interim. As soon as the snow melted there was a crew at my home. They tore off the old roof and replaced it with lifetime shingles in a day and a half. They did a total cleanup before they left. They even removed leaves that had accumulated on the ground around the perimeter of the house.

Recent Review: My primary residence and rental home were both attacked by hail. Both roofs were damaged. After filing an insurance claim, Service Masters came to my home, estimated the damaged and scheduled the work. The day the workers reported, there were about 5 Mexicans and nobody who spoke English. That wasn't an issue untill the workers started throwing the bundles of shingles onto the roof and when the shingles hit the roof, there were loud bangs and pictures in my home fell off the walls. My ceilings were popcorn style or textured and when the bangs happenned, little pieces of the painted texture would fall off leaving bare spots on my ceiling. My home was 1 year old when this happenned, there was no reason for it. When I reported this to Service Master, they credited the damaged to poor texturing by the builders. They never offered to replace the vase that a picture busted when it fell from the walls. On the other home, my rental, the roofers did not put an underlayment of the drip edge or whatever it is called that goes around the chimney. My roof leaked almost immediately, causing damage on the inside which had 12' tile drop ceilings. They came out about 2 weeks later and replaced the tile and put tar around the chimney. Of course it leaked again within a month. They came out, I pointed out that there was no drip edge or once again, whatever it is called. They then put a layer of the drip edge ontop of my roof tiles around my chimney and replaced the tiles on the inside, leaving my trim down and damaged that bordered the fireplace and the ceiling. I requested them to come and fix it, they didn't show. Another month went by and the roof leaked again. Once again I called and they came out, replaced the tiles in the ceiling, this time doing a terrible job at the groove and tongue process, leaving an unlevel surface and still didn't put the trim back up. They never did anything more to the roof stating that they had no idea why it leaked around the chimney and that I had to continuously apply tar to correct the problem. Prior to the shingles on the rental being replaced, the roof never leaked anywhere, let alone around the chimney.

Recent Review: Had a little problem getting a response to a request for a bid. Found out later it was due to employee not following up. Co-Owner Anthony Grossman got back with me by phone. Came out and gave me estimate for the above work. Also discussed some other issues and he was honest enough to tell me that other work really wasn't needed. Being on a limited income I appreciated that advice. My problem started with storm damage from a tree planted too close to an addition on the back of the house. As the tree grew it branched out and become much too close. Consequently when storm came it batted against and damaged the gutter along this addition. Also one of the branches overhanging the addition did damage to the roof shingles. Rubbed them down. And part of the soffit on the edge just disappeared. Never could find it. Anthony replaced the whole gutter with a seamless one. (Old gutter was in three separate pieces.) Seamless looked so much better. This was done quickly, so much so that one day I came home and it was done! Anthony then came out later on himself and finished up the roof shingle replacement. Matched the old shingles very nicely. Was a hot day and he did a great job. He also replaced the soffit with material I had on hand. All old gutter and shingles were cleaned up and taken away. Nice clean up job. Also received a One Year Warranty on workmanship. Thanks Anthony for taking the time to follow up and get this work done for me!

Quick response to my weekend email for an estimate. He came out right away to get an idea of the work, and even fixed the chimney cap on the spot. Once the materials came in they brought a team who quickly repaired the roofing and cleaned up after the work. Very professional team. Invoice came in at the estimated price.

From the estimate to the finish it went well, and on time. Was advised by the owner on ways to address problems. It seem logical to me and so far working. Doing the work as stated and on time was fantastic.

ALUECKE'S ROOFING LLC
I'm so impressed with all aspects of this job and the work, workers and company associated with it. The owner Jerry stated he would be at my home Tuesday, Nov. 11th, 2014 at 8:30 am. (It was a holiday, Veterans Day). He said it would take 1/2 a day to complete and would haul off all trash. He came just a little before 8:30 am. His crew arrived between then and 8:50 am. There were 6 gentlemen, and Jerry. The shingles and supplies were dropped off the Friday before. They started to work immediately, ripping off the old roof, shingles and undercoat paper and everything. There were 3 satellite receivers they had to unhook, 2 of which were not in use and all the vents (6), vent boots(3) etc. I was in the home most of the time but would go out on occasion just to check the progress. They were amazing, polite experienced and rapid gentlemen. It was like watching a finely rehearsed and tuned orchestra and I had front row seats!!! They took a 1/2 hour lunch break and I think that was it. By 2:30 pm, they were done. Every bit of trash and debre were gone. They even cleaned out all gutters. I mean, there was not a trace of them even being there. They left my home, yard and surroundings cleaner than when they arrived. And I got a beautiful new roof and vents, vent boots, etc. They even hauled off the 2 not used satellite receivers. They were simply amazing and I would recommend them door to door and to anyone that would listen. GREAT COMPANY AND CREW!!!
