Recent Review: Erskine Horton, the main man behind Unlimited Handiworks, did an excellent job. The house he had to work with was a Wick Home built in 1979 (meaning nothing in the house is "standard"), so the task wasn't without its problems but nothing Mr. Horton couldn't fix. The kitchen cabinets posed the biggest challenge since they were constructed unit-by-unit by Klervue, shipped in boxes with instructions on how to put them together. This type of cabinets was a first for Mr. Horton and he did a great job piecing them together. Mr. Horton was easy to work with, helped us in choosing the products for the buck, and made suggestions on how best to accomplish what we wanted the house to look like. He works best without over-the-shoulder monitoring but is open to suggestions or ideas and does like feedback on his work. We look forward to seeing what he does with the bathroom which will be thoroughly remodeled as well. Mr. Horton was always upbeat and ready to tackle whatever was scheduled for the day; he also has a great positive attitude. I've included before and after pictures of the kitchen (sorry they're not real good); pics of the rest of the house will have to come later.

His equipment was to heavy for him to carry. So I had to help load and unload equipment. I had to hand him stuff while we was up on the ladder.I had to help assemble. He still charged me an arm and a leg.

Ed - was very straight forward and no nonsense. This was an hourly deal 4 hours for $ !99.00 - However because Ed was going bring an extra it was going to be 2 hours - for two guys - Ed said things get done twice as fast ( I doubted that )..but I wanted to get this done as we are putting our home on the market so I said fine. The guys showed up and started the job I watched them work and the second guy turned out to be a "runner" someone to stand there - hold things- and get things from the truck- I suggested that the "runner" maybe could do another task while Ed put up the lights. After all he was counted as a man hour in the deal - Ed was abrupt and said that is how he worked and if I liked he could pack up his stuff and leave - no charge. I took him up on that as he did not appear to me to want to do the work anyway. I can't say that he wasn't fair with me -- but I have two lighting fixtures on the floor - and I will have to schedule someone else to this. He said that Anggie list would arrange for a complete refund
