Reviews in Pacific for Installing Central Humidifier
FBuckner's Heating & Cooling Co
I had to add a humidifier to the new furnace and that bryant dealer found a place that Buckners had left open in the combustion chamber. According to the bryant dealer that installed the humidifier it was highly possible that it could have resulted in CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING!!!!

AMcQuerry's 24 Hour Heating & Air Conditioning
Ron McQueery came out and spent 3 hours with us to do a complete analysis of our heating and cooling needs- measuring windows and doors, counting returns and vents, and asking us what we wanted out of a new system. While at our house we mentioned we were having some issues with our current system so he took a look at it and made some adjustments even though he was not on a service call. The quote he gave us was higher than our other quotes (which he warned us ahead of time he would not be the lowest), but after comparing the warranties and just the overall service, we had to go with Ron. We scheduled the installation just before Christmas but we were concerned about our current system lasting until the installation so Ron moved the date up a week on short notice. When he came to the house to finish up our paperwork, he tweaked our furnace one more time to keep it running smoothly. During installation the crew kept us up to date on progress. They were very polite and answered any questions we had. They are finishing up the heat pump installation as I write and overall installation has probably taken a little longer than anticipated due to the bad weather and having to redo some of the plumping for the humidifier, but our first night with just the furnace was the most comfortable winter night we've spent in the house since we moved in last year.

They are excellent, as always. Their prices are very fair. They have been doing work for me for about 25 years. I wished I could give them an A+

AHINES HEATING & COOLING CO
This St. Joseph MO firm repaired our gas water heater a few weeks ago, and inspected the innards of our furnace and replaced the humidifier pad while here. Their work is comprehensive and excently performed. I recommend them unreservedly.

Service tech arrived on time. After checking furnace and realizing he needed a different model filter for the humidifier, he left and soon returned to complete the job. Once finished, he reported that everything checked out fine and gave me a detailed bill and cost of the replacement filters.

Knowledgable and courteous staff. All the technicians were helpful in assisting with design and making sure heating and cooling was sufficient for size of home. Answered all of our questions, and alleviated any concerns. Offerred to follow-up if we have further questions. We would not hesitate to recommend Dale and his staff to anyone needing HVAC work, as they did an excellent job for us.

They were real profession, did an excellent job, done real well, pointed out some things that needs to be corrected, price seems to be pretty competitive. All in all, I'm quite pleased.

Recent Review: Estimate was easy and good. Dale helped us answer questions and determine exactly what we would need for the house. He was not pressuring at all and very friendly. Work was scheduled when we wanted and was accomplished in one day quickly and cleanly. No real problems developed on installation day. The next day we did not have hot water, due to a problem when the heating gas lines were re-hooked up. This was a Sunday, we called the office and the answering service paged Dale who called back within minutes. He said he would send someone out to look at it. When he couldn't get hold if his workman within 20 minutes, he called back and said he would come out himself and fix it. He showed up within 10-15 minutes and had the problem fixed ASAP. No problems since then. Company also filled out all rebate and warranty paperwork for me, I just had to check the mail for my rebate which quickly. A/C works harder than I would like on 95+ days, but I don't think that is Jetco's problem.
Recent Review: Owner of the company (Frank?) did the install himself. The install was well done. The first hole he cut ended up being partially blocked by a baffle, so he selected a second location and sealed up the first one. Since he had to go out and get a piece of sheet metal at the hardware store he picked up a new condensation pump and just passed the cost through, so that was installed free. Once he was ready to close it up the heater would not start and it is still a puzzle as to why. Won't bother with the details but he went through every possible solution and then just gave us a $200 thermostat to replace out $35 one on the off chance he might have damaged it. While it took longer then anticipated, his work and dedication were outstanding and I cannot recommend them strongly enough for taking the time to make sure it was in right, not just in. We will call them first for all out HVAC and plumbing needs.
Recent Review: I called in and they came by same day to give an estimate. While the estimate was about $30 above the other company I called, I went with Welsch because of the responsiveness shown during the estimate. The Welsch engineer was very professional and finished putting the humidifier in a couple of hours. The job looks spectacular and I am quite pleased.

Recent Review: I called for an estimate and Ron Mcquerry called back to provide the information. They offered two types and I selected the powered humidifier. Ron accommodated my request for Saturday service in the future which also allowed him to schedule a tech with proper amount of time allotted for this service. The tech arrived at the agreed upon time and installed the product, performed the fall check up and cleaned up before he left. These are good people to work with. I read in Consumer Reports that when it comes to heating and cooling that it is better to have a contractor who gives good advice than it is to pick a product or name brand to purchase. I have had several experiences with this company over the years and found them to be honest and knowledgeable about their work.
