Recent Review: Basically I trusted them, so buyer beware. After paying and a promise to return, BEFORE the job was finished, the job was abandoned with substandard work. I was left to finish what I could and clean the mess they left. They ignored my phone calls and Gerald sent a text with an excuse for not completing the job, that I made the check out to the brother who was here working and did not use the company name, so anything promised was null and void! Apparently all the Clintons are not part of Clinton Renovations. The Clinton who was brought into my home to work wasn't suppose to be paid. Luckily for Gerald, he found an excuse to go on to his next victim without completing this job. They grossly underestimated the time it would take and they lacked supplies, measured wrong, did not use proper barriers on my carpets, filled my light fixture with dust and debris and tracked plaster into the hardwood floors. Gerald and Delbert disappeared to go to Lowe's the first day and I had to finally call to see why no one was here for several hours. Delbert and Gerald came back the next day, and this was the last time I saw Gerald until the text informing me he wasn't going to finish the job because I paid the only person here for days! Not only was the inside left a mess, so was the outside including a cigarette butt in the driveway. By his own admission Gerald said he knew his work looked substandard and he would make it right, because he didn't want a bad review. I had no plans to write a review, but needing to hire someone else to fix his work, gave me a great incentive to write one! I cancelled the newel post portion of the job right away and had them concentrate on the drywall; they didn't bother to get correct measurements and bought the wrong texture and size of boards, live and learn, that should have been my first clue! I saw Nathan Clinton on the first bid and not after that, Gerald Clinton was unable to fix the upstairs seam properly by his own admission and did not come back. Delbert Clinton did a good job on the garage seam, but where the light hit the kitchen seam, he went by the adage more is better. A week later I am personally still working on the job I paid them to do and there is still plaster outside even after all of the rain! I'm sure Gerald can come up with some excuses as to why this is a fluke review. I have attached pictures judge for yourself.

APlaster Creations
Workers were in three different areas of our home yet they were very respectful and cautious in performing their duties well while still keeping our house in as much order as possible. These people are artisans! The ceilings look unbelievable. I never realized how beautiful a plaster ceiling could be!!

AIrish Construction
Tony and his crew are expert masons. They work fast and complete projects on time. He is very personable and has good communication skills with clients and his crew. Our house had not had any maintenance on the stone work since it was built. He identified repair needed to preserve the integrity of the stone work and provided us alternatives to choose from in getting it repaired. Tony directed his crew in re-tuckpointing areas in need and made sure that it was excellently done. Our home is now watertight and ready for winter this year and years to come. A woodpecker made a hole in one of the dormers and Tony personally plastered the outside walls. This was indeed something I had hoped to get done and he did a better job than I could have. We appreciate the artistry and skills necessary for his profession. He gave good advice and added some personal touches to the project. Irish Construction was not the lowest bid, nor the highest bid, but the care with which Tony approaches the project makes his bid worth every penny you spend. I will definitely use Irish Construction on any future projects.

AHome Improvement 4 Less
Home Improvement 4 Less designed a solution to give us a tub and shower in this little bathroom without taking out the window. And then introduced us to a wonderful plumbing concept called PEX. to give us better water quality and pressure. He scheduled the demolition in such a way that we were able to still take bathes and have a functional toilet right up to the change out of fixtures. Then he installed all the new water lines where they were ready to hook up then switched over the water source and pressurized the system and without any delays or leaks we were back on line. With improved water pressure and taste. Yeah.... Finished up with trim at ceiling and floor.  And was on to the kitchen ceiling.  The new design for the ceiling face lift was perfect. He designed a white beamed ceiling and beadboard to cover ceiling tile and tied it into a 2 ft.x 2 ft. square pedestal to tie in a new white ceiling light in center of room and new pendant light over the sink . It looks like a country kitchen now. This time we saved $900 on bathroom remodel $450 on the new PEX system in labor and materials. And he only charged us $175 for new kitchen ceiling. I would have gladly that just for the design. What a creative  concept to make a ugly old ceiling disappear. So once again i saved about another $1,450.00 and his design ideas were free. But if you ask me they were priceless......
