I purchased the Big Deal of the Day which was $200 worth of Junk Hauling for $90.00. At the time of purchase, you can choose three dates that will work. I chose three, but never heard from the company until the night before the first date I had chosen. I explained to them that because they did not confirm that date was ok, I did not take time off of work so was unable to do it the next day. He said they haul once a week and would give me a call when they set up those dates. He promised to give me more than a day's notice. During that call I also confirmed the price. I wanted to understand how much was $200 worth of junk. They explained that they could not really give me an estimate because it was all different. Then they informed me of a minimum charge of $70 for labor that I needed to pay in addition. They also were not able to give me a real estimate of how much in labor charges I could potentially incur. After looking into what I purchased, it clearly states labor was included. So I sent them an email and confronted them. They really didn't make me feel comfortable with what I had purchased, but did tell me that they would provide me with an estimate before moving anything "Afterall, we can't move everything for $99". So the next week comes, they call me the night before again. I tell them that I need more time because I need to schedule off work. They sent me an email a week later informing me that they will haul on Fridays and Saturdays for the next few weeks and asked if any of those would work. I then replied, the same day, that I could make the 14th work (Friday). I never heard back if this was acceptable. The night before, they call to confirm that the 14th will work. I finally say yes because I happened to have already taken the day off for other things I needed to do. They schedule an 11:00 pick up. At 11, they call to let me know they are in route, but will be 30 minutes late. No big deal, except they didn't show until 12:45. Once they got here, they asked to see what needed to go. I showed them the "piles" of things I needed removed. They were in the basement so they had to go up and down stairs with the boxes (I didn't have any furniture or anything that would require two people to carry). They quickly started moving everything outside. Once they got it all outside and at the end of the driveway where their truck was parked, they took pictures. I assumed we were done. 15 minutes later they knock on my door. They charged me an extra $50 for exceeding a limit they could not define for me. All in all, I was glad to see my junk go away, but not too impressed with the staff around organizing the removal. The two guys that actually came to get the stuff were pleasant and polite.
