Great! I needed the work completed on my new home to satisfy the building inspector/mortgage company. Eric completed the work on time, was informative and professional. He has great follow through with me, as well as the mortgage company. I would highly recommend him and plan to use him for future work.

The crew arrived on site on time as promised. They reviewed the crawl space area and explained to me what would be taking place in detail. They protected all areas of the home they would be accessing by placing protective coverings on the floor. They worked the entire time with only taking a short lunch break. They cleaned up their tools and area the first day and returned the next morning on time to finish the job. They also had to dig a drain pipe in the backyard and took care to not damage the yard. The owner of the company, Ryan came the final day to inspect the completion and go over any questions I may have had. They also offered additional service to inspect and maintain the crawl space and sump pump on a yearly cycle which I have signed up for. I would recommend this company and feel they will stand behind their work at all times.

He called me back the day I called and we made an appointment. He spent quite a bit of time in the crawl space, and recommended a construction company that he thought could do the work. There was no charge.

Installers arrived on time and met with me to discuss all the details. After everything was finalized they went to work. I did have a change to the order on the placement of the lawnscape outlet. This required approximatley 30 more feet of PVC pipe. After telling me the new price, the foreman had no problem accomodating for a longer discharge line to satisfy my concern. The crew worked all day and completed 95% of the work. The lid for the sump pump was still on order and they needed to insulate the entrance to the crawl space. When they returned, two weeks later, it only took them a couple of hours to complete the job. The opening to my crawl space is a small egress window. The crew cutout some foam with a reflective material on one side to help keep the outside air out of the crawl space. They also removed a dead rabbit along with some of the insulation that had fallen to the ground due to moisture. Woods Basement is a little pricey, but they were the best I found for crawl space repair. No other company has the patented products that they have. They will take the time to educate you on what needs to be done and the science behind their process.

AB-Dry Solutions Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
Crew arrived on time and worked 1 1/2 days to complete crawlspace waterproofing. Weather conditions were wet, rainy, but they were able to work around that. I had a bit of cleanup to do from tracking mud, but most of the work area was covered with plastic.

ASuperDave The Handyman
He & his associate, Charlie, completed the job in about 2 hours. They completely cleaned the area they worked in, left everything spotless and did a beautiful job on all work. He called everytime before he came out and was always on time. I would not hesitate to recommend him & his associate as a handyman and will call him in the future for handman jobs.

I would consider calling them only if cost were not an issue and I had unlimited bags of money... After waiting for over two weeks for the appointment at the finished basement home. I contacted the tenant to find out what the proposal was (I was out of state). They said the tech. was in there for about 10 minutes with a notepad and talked about ripping walls and studs and sump pumps, etc. But he left no proposal (contrary to their "Proposal at time of appointment" guarantee). I called the office and they sounded surprised that no proposal was left and assured me they would e-mail me one. A few days later, I called back and the tech was at a function and promised he would have it to me the next day. Four days later, I get a ridiculouse quote for well over $6000. I asked if they could break that down to parts, labor, etc. They said "No". I asked if the job could be done with fewer "bells and whistles", they said "we'll see what we can do and get back to you".....never got back to me. With the crawl space home, I met the tech. and this proposal was for about $19,000.00. But he wouldn't give it to me in writing because then I would "lose my 10% discount". He assured me he would e-mail it to me the next day....never got back to me. I have no doubt that Woods Basement Sys. is all about sell, sell, sell...whether you need it or not is beside the point. If your solution calls for a 5-passenger sedan, they will try to sell you the 45-passenger bus....hopefully you'll bite!

Irish Construction tuck pointed, resurfaced, and waterproofed the basement's interior and exterior of a 1200 square foot house. A cramped 2 foot tall crawl space was tuck pointed too. The owner, Anthony Monaghan, arrived at 8 AM, estimated the job in a half hour, bought materials, and gathered a large crew that got everything done that day. Work started at 10:30 AM, a half hour ahead of schedule. The crew worked diligently, knew what they were doing, and completed the job by 3:30 PM. A railing concrete post was patched, driveway side wall waterproofed and garage door area tuck pointed. I pointed out a couple of items that were taken care of that day. The job was well done.
