Called for appointment on one day and it was fixed the following day. Appt. was for 3 pm and called to see if it was okay to come earlier. Replaced the faulty part. Left the area as clean as it was when he arrived. Professional and courteous. The price was reasonable.

The work went very well.  He was very prompt and professional, as well as friendly. He gave me a couple of options with regard to the toilet repair, and what each would cost. It took about an hour and twenty minutes for everything.  I will definitely be using him in the future.

BAffordable Same Day Service
I am somewhat content with the service. I'm glad it got fixed, but the amount of time and visits he took and charging us over $100.00 on a $20 part I thought, was a bit extreme. We didn't understand why it took him 4 visits to get the stove fixed. At one point, he wanted to see how hot the oven would get. It got to be too hot for him to do any work in it and it was near his next appointment, so he left and came back another time. He got the work done but I probably will not use him in the future.

BJACK'S APPLIANCE SVC
My oven was not heating. The hinge was popped. The door did not meet up with the mechanism that regulates the thermometer. Jack repaired the hinge, ordered the part and came by the following week to complete the job. I was very pleased with the outcome.

AB & B Appliance
They were very nice. It was a Whirlpool double oven and my husband had called the hot line and they led him to believe based on what he was saying that something needed to be done. I went and ordered that from Sears which I guess is Whirlpool. He had asked them if that was what we needed. I asked them to make sure to get the part in black because it's a black double oven. I ended up getting a beige door handle for the oven. It was a complete incorrect part. I spent $200. I had to send it back. I then thought of calling somebody and called B and B Appliance. They came and said that, that wasn't actually the part that was wrong. It tuned out that they were on Backwater and we were leaving the town. They ordered the part for us and asked us to call them back as soon as we were back because we were going away for the winter. They were here the week that we got back. They were actually here the second day with the part and installed it. They said that if they had made that mistake and ordered the incorrect part in the first place and when they had found out that it was supposed to be the other part, they would have deducted the amount of the first one from the bill. That was nice of them. However, since my husband went and talked to someone on the hot line, there wasn't really anything that they could do. They were very good, very responsive and they called ahead of time and told me when they were going to be here. They were reasonably priced because I knew what their cost was when I had called the hot line. The person that my husband spoke to said that it was going to be one of those 2 things and they said that it was probably the lesser expensive one. My oven works fine now. Their price was as good as calling Whirlpool. I would hire them again in the future.

CAffordable Same Day Service
Well it took about five visits to fix the stove. First was the initial visit to a**** the error message I was receiving at the time, and this was due to a bad control board. Next he came and replaced the control board, and the stove was still not working. He said that he needed a second pair of eyes and certified repair man (Jenn-Air). In the mean time he came back after talked to the service tech at Home Warranty to do another test... I called and this was approved by the Home Warranty. So second person came and visisted, and said that they wiring was bad, and that this was causing the relay not work. So No we are up to the fourth visit from Affordable, and he came and did some wiring checks, but the convection oven would still not work. Part of the "oven doesn't" he says that it wiring, and that it would be a separate deductible. Okay, so I call the home warranty again and pay for the him to fix the fan (2x 75 = 150). HE SPENDS LESS THAN TWENTY MINUTES TO REPLACE / FIX THE FAN. So I had to pay for him to a job that would taken like 20 minutes while he was there the fourth time? The wire was just simply loose? I don't know...but this guy is a cheat. Clearly. No the fan works, but clangs all the time...I wouldn't ever use this guy again.

ABEN CRABTREE APPLIANCE REPAIR
Honesty and integrity come to mind as I describe my interaction with Ben Crabtree. I have previously used another popular company for repair of our large appliances. I began to have reservations when the last three appliances were not repairable; instead, each needed to be replaced. Ironically, this same company sold new appliances. I chose Mr. Crabtree for my second opinion and I have found my new repair person. I called at 8:00 a.m. and he showed up at our scheduled meeting time on the same day. I did not expect this prompt service but was delighted. He quickly identified the problem and was able to fix it on the same visit. The refrigerator was resuscitated, at least for now. More importantly, Mr. Crabtree imparted a sense of trustworthiness which I found reassuring since I was at his mercy for I know nothing about appliance repair. It is without reservation that I highly recommend BEN CRABTREE APPLIANCE REPAIR.
