Recent Review: We moved to the area recently, and Schaffer Custom Pool Services came highly recommended when we asked around. No surprise why. Schaffer's weekly pool service & maintenance (pool cleaning, pH analysis, etc.) has been consistently top-notch. They keep our pool looking great, and they always give us the heads-up whenever anything looks like it needs additional attention. What really sets Schaffer apart, however, is their responsiveness and obvious attention to detail. One example: Just before winter (and not too long after we moved in to our current home) we realized that the prior homeowners had not left the (custom-sized) pool cover behind. It would have taken me ages to gather the measurements, figure out how to find a cover that could be attached using our current fittings, obtain quotes/find a manufacturer, etc. Mike, however, had immediately volunteered to help, and he worked with his supplier, placed the order for us, and then installed the cover when it arrived. The price was right, and Schaffer also offers a service to clean, dry & store the cover at the end of the season. With his help, I have spent less time sorting out the pool cover than I have writing this review. For that I'm grateful. Love Schaffer Pools. PS: I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention how awesome & responsive their phone service is as well. Super friendly - all the time. Everyone at Schaffer has been a real pleasure to work with.
Recent Review: Their price is amazing compared to everybody else. He is very responsive. I can just text him and he would respond. He was very easy to deal with. He is very easy to work with. If he has the part, he'll give them to me. He doesn't nickel and dime everything.
Recent Review: I really like them. I've been with them for several years. They're service is good. If there's a problem they'll keep working until they find out what it is. Their quality of work is excellent.
We just relocated to the area and purchased our home at the end of July. We knew that we would have to replace the pool liner eventually as the liner had a slight bubble. However, once we moved in and began to use the pool, more and more water became trapped behind the pool and the liner and the liner began to come away from the pool. We got three estimates, but we decided to go with Florida Pools. Owner Jeff Gutherz came out to give us the estimate but recommended that we not wait to replace the liner, considering its detriorating state. While Jeff''s estimate wasn't the cheapest, we had a lot of confidence in him from the outset. We decided to replace the liner immediately and asked Jeff to do the work. He showed us the various liner options and discussed the pros and cons of each and provided an address of another client so we could go take a look at the liner we liked best. We couldn't possibly be any happier or more satisfied with the job Jeff and his staff did. He will be doing all our pool work in the future, including converting the pool to salt in February or March next year. We would highly recommend his company.

AReflections Pool Service
Outstanding service from start to finish. Very responsive, returned calls promptly, showed up when they said they would and kept us abreast of progress each step of the way. Very happy with services provided, so much so, that we hired them to open and close our pool going forward.

He removed the cover. Drained the pool. Ordered a new liner. Replaced the liner. Installed the new liner and started up the pump and adjusted the chemicals accordingly. All in a timely manner. He was very straightforward. We felt very comfortable with Kevin and working with his company. No one was every pushing anything we did not need and offered valuable suggestions for our pool.

Overall, it went well except they did not clean the bottom of the pool floor well enough before putting the liner down. We could feel debris under the liner after the install. The liner itself faded in one spot. O'Brien had the factory rep come out and look at it. The rep agreed to replace it and O'Brien is going to do the rip and install for no additional fee.

FBeezy's Pool Service
On September 27, 2017 I called Beezy’s at (618-978-4283) and we set up an appointment for him to come and install my new pool liner on October 10, he said he we be at my house about 10:00 a.m. that day. The night before I text him (at the same phone number) to confirm that he will be at my house tomorrow. No response. The next morning I called the same phone number and left a message, that you are coming to my house this morning and I know you need my address so please call me back. No response. At 10:30 a.m. I text the person who referred him to me and told her he was a ‘NO SHOW”. She contacted him and he told her to have me call another phone number (618-978-2908). Really? So I called that phone number and talked to him. He forgot about our appointment. REALLY! So we rescheduled for that Friday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. He calls me about 9:30 a.m. that day and says he wants to reschedule our appointment for 1:00 p.m. that day. I told him that was fine. I took my lunch hour to be at my house when he gets there, which I got there about 12:45 p.m. 1:15 rolls around, nothing, 1:30 I text him asking his ETA, he says 3:00. He finally gets to my house at 3:45. So I basically wasted a half a day off of work for nothing (since I get off at 3:00 on Fridays). Thanks! Then he gets there and as he is looking at my pool and what there is to do, he decides he needs another person to do the job as we have a deck half way around our pool (which I told him that on the phone when we first talked about him doing the job). He also stated that he would need another $50.00 if we could not remove the water off of the cover. Which again, I told him the cover was on the pool. We rescheduled once again for October 18. I text him TWICE on October 17 confirming that he will be there on October 18. No response. I once again text my friend that referred him. At 8:40 p.m. he texts me and says he has had the flu and not going to get to it tomorrow. He will plan to do it this weekend. He text me on October 20 and tells me he will be there on Saturday to do my pool liner. No thanks! I’m done. I hired another company to do the job.

Leisure Time Pools Inc. They are very knowledgeable about you know how to take care of your pool and they owner she is real helpful in finding an installer. I wasn't real impressed with the installer for the pool liner, but that wasn't her, that was the installer.

Kevin and his team did a very nice job of removing the old liner, hauling it off, measuring and installing the new liner. They also did a very nice job of coordinating the boring of the new drain into the shallow end and making sure that all fittings and bumps were smoothed out!

It looks like the liner has been stretched beyond color in some spots. Where it should be blue, in these spots, it's white. Not only that, but they did a terrible job with the foam. They only lined the walls, and not any of the slanted areas. In those areas, there are rocks under the liner that will most likely eventually cause tears. They didn't anchor the foam properly, so after it rained and some water leaked between the liner and steel wall, some of the foam pieces floated and doubled over. It took another pool company explaining it to me to realize what had gone wrong. I've tried repeatedly to get in touch with these people to make it right. They came to take a look at first, but they told me it was all my fault. They said the white spots were caused by chemicals, which is impossible. No chemicals come in direct contact with the liner. My chlorine tablets sit in a floater and my other chemicals are liquid that I put into my skimmer. The guy seemed to be in a hurry to get out of there. Since then, I can't get in touch with them. I'm so mad at them!
