Recent Review: Ryan and the team at Chritian Brothers were great from the start. They gave us a clear and understandable estimate, answered our questions promptly, gave us locations of previous jobs to look at, and were efficient and quick when they did the installation. They took care to not damage landscape plants and the deck and were conscientious about collecting nails and trash when done.

Recent Review: The crew showed up faithfully each day. The first day all of the wood shingles were removed then the barriers were put in place and then the asphalt shingles. The crew had to work around a spell of bad weather but did so without any complications or inconvenience to us. The cleaned up their mess each day and did a great job on our roof.

Recent Review: They came and completed an initial bid and arrived on time. The bid was emailed out in a timely manner and was very competitive. We asked them to come back out to answer some questions and go over the bid. They arrived on time and answered all of our questions. They also brought out samples of the products they would use. Our roof is very large, steep, and has lots of segments. They estimated it would take two days to complete.  I thought that was crazy since other companies said it would take four to five days. The crew arrived first thing in the morning and completed it in two days just like they said! They came back for a walk around after the job was completed. A couple weeks after the work was completed I noticed that a gutter segment wasn?t laying flush against the house. They came out the next day to fix it! They did a great job and were timely, punctual, and responsive!

Dave Hudson took great care of us. Very professional and responsive. He explained everything in great detail, answered all questions and tracked with us all the way. We didn't get multiple estimates, but our cost ended up being less than our insurance adjustment! The work took less than ten hours from start to finish. The crew worked very quickly, did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves very well. i highly recommend Eclipse.

We did a thorough review of several potential roofers and decided to go with a different roofer who had some special offers and could do the work immediately. Eclipse would otherwise have been our selection. Jeff Pendergraft was polite, very responsive and very professional. He took all the time we needed to thoroughly explain his company and processes and specifically how they would proceed in our case. He put a lot of thought and effort into giving us a competitive proposal. I would recommend that anyone in a similar situation give Jeff an opportunity to bid their job.

Cornerstone removed our wood shake roof and replaced with asphalt shingles. Communication was superb. All work was done in a professional manner and we were very impressed with the clean up after such a major project. Donald and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied at all times.

They provided an immediate response, looking at it the same day and providing large roof samples.  He indicated the color I wanted wasn't available and made color suggestions based on my neighbors' roofs and provided their locations.  He has had very good follow up.

Work was done on schedule. Workers were well supervised. Clean up was thorough. Follow-up included fixing a drip from one of the skylights after the first (of many) big snowfalls 2009-2010. The drip was fixed as soon as the ice and snow melted enough to allow workers back up on the roof. Would definitely recommend M&M roofing to others, but think we're good to go for a long, long, time :-)

BPyramid Roofing Company Inc
It was time to replace our wood shake shingle roof, and we wanted to put in an asphalt roof. We reviewed Angie's list thoroughly before selecting companies to contact for bids. Pyramid's quote came in around the middle of the pack. We told them that we were going to go with another contractor that would do the job for less, and they asked if we would go with Pyramid if they matched the lower price. We decided to go with them, as they were rated pretty well on Angie's List, and we had heard other good reviews. We mentioned to the rep that other companies had given us a quote based on more soffit vents, as the soffits on our house are too small for the typical 6? by 12? soffit vent. Since we had to use smaller vents, more were needed to achieve the necessary square feet of soffit vent area. (We learned that asphalt roofs require more vents than wood shake roofs). Pyramid responded that they would make sure that we got ?adequate and balanced? ventilation for the new roof, but I did not ask them to rewrite the bid/contract, which noted that 20 vents would be installed. It sounded like they would just make it right for the agreed upon price. They scheduled the work to fit our availability, and they did a good job on the roof and keeping things clean. We saw the project manager the first day when he dropped off his card, but did not see him again over the 4 days that it took to complete. It would have been nice to have someone check with us each day to make sure things were going well, as we did have some questions and concerns. I did call him once to ask about the handling of ventilation over a section of our house that has a vaulted ceiling, and he said he would check on it the next time he was "out there", but we did not see or hear from him. The roof was completed on a Friday, and on the next Monday a crew showed up to install the soffit vents. They quickly found out that they had only brought the 6? x 12? soffit vents, which were too large for our soffits. They came back the next day, and installed 20 of the smaller soffit vents. We asked the crew about it, telling them that other companies had indicated that we need more than 20 of the smaller vents. The crew asked how many vents we wanted. We told them that we just want what is needed for the size of our roof. A quick search on the GAF website shows that there is a formula to calculate the necessary square foot of vent space for a given amount of attic space. But, we assumed a reputable roofing company that has been in business 20 years would not need us to tell them how many vents we need to properly vent our roof and meet the shingle manufacturer warranty specifications. They proceeded to add 10 more vents, to match the number that other companies had given in their quotes. When a rep came to inspect the job, we asked him if they take the temperature in the attic to make sure that the ventilation is performing properly. He responded that their responsibility is only to cut the vents, not to make sure that they are working. We then asked him if proper ventilation is necessary to meet the shingle manufacturer's warranty, and he said that it is not (which is contrary to our subsequent findings). This came as a surprise, as we expected that having a reputable company put in new decking, shingles, and vents would come with the peace-of-mind that our new roof would qualify for the GAF warranty. When the roof was complete, there was one section of gutter that was very banged up, and was not even entirely secured to the fascia. Pyramid said that they would replace the damaged area free of charge, but said that it is a 4? gutter, which are no longer available. Since the new would be a 5? gutter, they would need to replace the entire gutter that is connected to the damaged section, which included a long section that wrapped around the garage. They asked if we would be willing to pay $300 to ?split the difference? of the labor with them. We agreed, as it seemed like a fair compromise. The gutters were replaced and painted in a timely manner. When we met to write them a check for the job, we were surprised to see that they had added $450 over the bid/contract price for the additional 10 soffit vents. We had no idea that we were going to be charged extra for those. If we had known beforehand that it was going to be $45 per soffit vent, we would likely have installed them ourselves, as most of that is labor cost. The rep did agree to split the difference on the $450. Still, paying more than the agreed upon price to get adequate ventilation for our new roof was an unpleasant surprise. It makes us second-guess our decision to go with Pyramid. The workmanship is fine, but we think they could improve their communication and customer service.  This replacement was a major investment, and we believe that there are other companies (with a more pristine Angie's List rating) that are more consistent about making sure the customer is informed and comfortable every step along the way.

DPyramid Roofing Company Inc
Told us that they use their own roofing employees for their roofing jobs. They didn't. We couldn't communicate with them at all. On the second or third day of working, I walked into our master bathroom and noticed that the whole sink and floor area was covered with roofing trash. There was a huge piece of metal in our sink. We didn't know they were removing the skylight at that time and we could have been hurt. They didn't clean up well at all and we had several issues about the shingles and dented vents. We were sent an invoice before we were even contacted about whether the work was completed. After numerous calls to and from the main office and their foreman,(they wanted payment) they told us that they had no authority over the roofers that put on our roof. It took weeks for the foreman to finally come out and make a few repairs to make the roof acceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
