Recent Review: Called to have someone help fix my Sister In Law's garage door trim. Looks like one of the kids may have scrapped the metal trim with a rear-view mirror. Not sure how to fix it myself so I called the Handyman service. The gentleman was gonna come out a week later but actually came early and was able to get the metal trim bend back the right way and tapped back into a reasonable shape. Overall, we are are happy with the result for the $80 we spend.

Recent Review: My house is 18 yr old and the exterior trim around and above the garage door was completely rotten. It looked terrible. I had another company replace/repair it about 7-8 yrs ago so I couldn't believe that we were having this issue yet again. I called Handyman Connection and they sent James Marks to look at the job and provide an estimate. He arrived a couple of days after I called them. After he looked at the job and spoke with me, he sent the estimate in to the office and they forwarded it to me via email.  I called Handyman Connection and told them I had some questions about the drawing I received and the materials that would be used before I could commit to a contract; so James came back to the house to explain everything to me in more detail.  James warned me up front that more extensive work might have to be done which would increase the cost but that he wouldn't know that for sure until he began to dismantle the trim to see the extent of the rot damage.  The root cause was that there was no drip ledge and James saw this right away.  Once the job was underway and the trim was removed, he saw that one of the bulkheads underneath the trim was also rotten so he replaced that as well.  The material of the new trim he used was not wood, but a pvc material. I had also asked for the top rail on the front porch bannister to be replaced. The other company had replaced it 7-8 yrs ago, but the guy used two pieces of wood which were now splitting apart and looked awful.  Since they don't make wood pieces as long as what was needed, James built the top rail himself.  It's very sturdy now and it looks perfect!  He used a spacer to make sure the spindles were evenly spaced when he put them back. James made sure that the garage door would open and shut correctly at the end of his work day, which I thought was very considerate.  At the end of the job, he made sure all the scrap wood was cut up small enough to fit in our trash cans and that the work site was clean. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the work James did on my house.  It was 103-105 degrees all week and miserably, dangerously hot to be working outside.  But he came prepared and put in a full day's work for 3 straight days. James told me that he takes pride in his work, and that is obvious from the finshed result.  We would use Handyman Connection and especially James again in a heartbeat.  I did not take a before photo, but I did take an after photo which I will gladly post if I can figure out how to do it.

Recent Review: Extremely satisfied. It was really hot, but they worked fast and did a great job. Clean up was fine. They were all very nice and professional. Team leader was especially good. It looks fantastic, it's a huge improvement. I will definitely talk to them about other work I will need to have done. Although I was extremely pleased with the painting I was not happy with the CertaPro office practice of routing phone calls. It was difficult to set up the painting and hard to reach the office I wanted. I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out, but CertaPro national leaves a lot to be desired. You think you're calling a specific local office and no matter which office you call you're dealing with a call center somewhere else. The end result was great, just a pain to get there.

Recent Review: He promptly arranged a time to survey the projects and then provided estimates for each job. He scheduled the work to be performed at times that were convenient for us. He performed each project with enthusiasm, courtesy, neatness, and professionalism. All work was completed within the estimated time-frames and costs. We are extremely happy with all his great work, and consider his price to be fair and reasonable for the amount of time and expertise he provided. He is licensed, bonded, and insured, and we highly recommend him!

Recent Review: I feel that Andy is trustworthy, responsible and does craftsman type work.  He did some major repairs last year and I am contracting him again for my house currently.  He is able to do a wide variety of work.   He also offered suggestions to complement my decorating style when I asked him for an opinion regarding style of interior doors and hardware he will be replacing. Andy’s wife Terri handles the business end of the company.  She is always responsive and any needed communication to Andy gets to him accurately.  The estimates were professionally presented. Prices are in the moderate range.  I am willing to pay his charges knowing I can give him a key and that the work will be done as discussed, with a quality outcome.  In addition we recently contracted him for my mother’s house to prepare it for sale. When we asked him to do my mother’s work he fit it in and completed it in time to be ready for the closing. I felt confident enough to simply give him a list of the needed items and let him work on them.  The charges were fair when completed and I felt he went above and beyond in doing that work for us.

Recent Review: Dealing with the company from start to finish was pleasant. It was easy to set up an appointment for an estimate, my calls were promptly answered, and when we were told they would be there late in the week of Oct 19th, they were, even though it had rained steadily for the past week. The men showed up early, worked steadily all day, and cleaned up each day before they left. They even worked over the weekend to get it done because it was supposed to rain the whole next week. I was impressed by the carpentry job that they did on the front windows. The vertical trim pieces on all of the windows were rotted badly at the bottoms. They came up with a great solution, and used composite trim boards for the repair that won't rot out again. The windows look brand new and we couldn't be happier.

AGet It Done Inc
The workers were on time and pleasant to have around the home. There were three separate jobs (the trim, power washing and staining) scheduled and everyone who came to the home was respectful. All of the work was done well and professionally. The work areas were cleaned up each day and work progressed well even though the weather did not want to cooperate. We had to reschedule work many times due to weather, but it was easy and they worked with me and my schedule and were very flexible.

AHandyman Matters of St Louis
Perfectly. Tim showed up when promised and did the work as described. I had explained to them I didn't want to have to do anything myself (paint, cleanup, etc) for this job. I didn't have to touch a thing and everything looks great. They used quality products (PVC vs. wood or pressed wood) so I won't have to deal with the same problems again.  The Handyman Matters team communicated well so I knew exactly what was going on throughout the project.

AR STONICH AND SONS CONSTRUCTION INC
Ralph Sr, oversaw the job(s) from planning to finish, while sons Ralph Jr and Nick, did the daily work. Great guys. I gave them a key, and they'd arrive early and leave when done. The subcontractors were all very good, if a little unpredictable, as to arrival and finish time on jobs. The work got done, with only a very few delays, mostly due to waiting for cabinets to be delivered, or for the plumber and his crew to arrive to move pipes and gas lines. There was a "huge" amount of work to do. The house had been vacant for over 2 years, and had little, to no maintenance for some time.

APower Wash Pro
It took longer than originally expected because of the realization that the exterior was in worse shape than originally estimated. But Robert and his crew were able to still knock out all of the work in about 3 days. The entire process took less than a week-starting from the initial walk through and then the completion of the work. This was more than I expected and was very pleased since I was in a hurry to get my home on the market.
