Excellent work, good communication, and trustworthy. I was referred to David by a kitchen designer to install cabinets, extend a wall, and install a vent. Everything went extremely well and looks great. Because I was pleased with the kitchen, I selected David for 2 additional jobs. The deck was the largest project and I'm very pleased with quality construction. Throughout all of the projects, David was very easy to work and responsive. I had no issues trusting him and his team working in my home.

FCADY HANDYMAN SERVICES
John Meyer(project manager) arrived at the house. We discussed the multiple aspects of the Bathroom remodel. He confirmed that this is something the company is capable of. He stated he would contact me via email. After 5 business days I emailed him and he stated he was trying to get information on our spa tub to replace the hardware. I had given him the company name and number. I waited 10 days after that email and he stated he was still not done. I called the number regarding our spa tub to see if the information was difficult to obtain, but the first person I spoke with helped me with every question. So I once again emailed Cady Handyman and after 1 month I still have not heard from anyone.

Very well. We needed handicapped updates (higher toilets & grab bars), and also a new vanity top. Tom’s contract was thorough. The price was moderately high, but dialogue made us comfortable. As it turned out, Tom encountered problems ( rotten drain pipe connecting to the sink, adding trim needed because we wanted the vanity higher, adding additional outlets to the backslash, etc. He admits “I am not a plumber or electrician”, but that only means “licensed”. In reality he accomplishes the required tasks w/o having to call in help: and solves problems that others would have upped the costs. He only charged us for the extra parts required to correct the issues, and not the labor (and he had to make several trips for parts).

FGreat Lakes Home Renovations
The most regrettable experience I've had as a homeowner is working with Great Lakes Window & Siding. The bathroom remodel I hired them for took longer than promised (3-4 weeks, not 3-4 days), and the work performed was shoddy and lacking in professionalism (the grout work was so bad we're already thinking of hiring someone to redo it less than 2 years later; if that's not bad enough, the water wasn't turned off prior to our bathtub's removal/replacement, leading to a burst pipe and water damage to an adjacent room's ceiling. Great Lakes' idea of resolving that issue was painting over the water stains -- but the splotches are still visible -- and two years later the pipes are leaking, perhaps because they forgot to install a gasket on the overflow valve. I called to have them come out and stand by their work (the leak stained the ceiling). They promised they would, but never fit me into their schedule. If you have read this far, trust me; you will regret it. Look elsewhere.

AExcel Builders
We wanted to completely update the look of our bathroom without altering the footprint. Trent really understood what we were trying to accomplish, and it was evident from the beginning that he knew what he was talking about (a fact I confirmed by speaking with several of his references).  Plus, his bid was fair. The entire process, starting with demolition day and ending with final inspections, took slightly over 2 months.  However, the tub/shower was plumbed and operational within the first 3 weeks; this is important to note because it's our ONLY full bathroom and the only place to bathe in the house.  Trent was very sensitive to that fact and understood it was of utmost importance to have use of our shower as soon as possible after the start of remodel. He stayed in constant contact with us during the course of the remodel and immediately responded to my myriad questions throughout the process and quickly rectified any issues that arose.  We love our newly remodeled bathroom!  It looks and feels like a spa!

AGreat Bathrooms
Craig is does bathroom remodeling with an artist's flair. This is the second bathroom we've had him remodel for us, and we would definitely call him again if we needed to. He helped us pick out tile colors and accents. He is generally good about managing his time and getting things done once the project gets going, plus or minus a day or two. I'm amazed at how well everything turned out. Totally worth the money and effort. One thing to know about Craig is that he can be a little bit slow to respond during the planning phase. Stick with it and he typically comes through with a beautiful end result.

I filled out the contact page on Apex's website (linked from Angie's List) looking to get a quote on a bathroom upgrade, which I assumed would involve scheduling a visit. I did receive a reasonably prompt reply; however, that reply was simply to ask for a phone number for Apex to call me. I responded with my phone number and an explanation that I had not included it in the first place, because email is a far more effective and efficient way to communicate with me. I then received a few voicemails from Apex, but never providing anything other than a request to call them back. On at least one of these occasions, I was actually home, but did not answer the call, because, for reasons I can't explain, whatever phone system Apex uses does not identify itself to my caller ID, and I do not answer unidentified calls. After a couple weeks of this, I followed up with another email, re-explained the situation, and asked if they could reply via email with whatever information they needed from me to move forward, and I would supply it. Again, I received a reasonably prompt email reply, stating that they always ask three questions: 1) description of work to be done, 2) budget, and 3) time frame. I was a little put off by the request for a job description, since I had provided that with the initial contact form, but I figured that since we were at least corresponding now, I'd humor them. I provided another (fairly detailed) description of what I was looking to have done, as well as the time frame I was looking to have the work completed (at the time, about 4-5 months in the future). In regard to the budget, I again explained that I was looking for quotes, so that while I did have an ideal figure I was hoping to stay within (which I also provided), I was more interested in getting a quote from them than worrying about how much I was able/willing to spend. That was five weeks ago, and I've never heard anything more from them. I don't know if they just decided my job was too small (if so, why do they advertise that they do bathrooms?), if they just couldn't be bothered to via email (if so, why do they have a contact form on their website?), if they just didn't want to put something in writing (which would be a major red flag if so), or some other reason. Regardless, they've apparently decided they don't even want to schedule a visit, let alone provide a quote and hopefully score some business. If hired, they may do great work, but if they make it this difficult just to schedule a visit to get a quote, I can only imagine what a nightmare of communication actually working with them could turn into.

A K2 Bath Deck & Kitchen
From the design and then demolition of our 70 year old bathroom to final inspection it was a great experience. They were helpful in devising ways to save money and allowing me to purchase some items and reuse some from original bath. They were patient and accommodating with start date and any change orders. I’m a perfectionist and it was a great fit working with Dustin who was very detail oriented. He and Spencer were very hard workers on all aspects of the job. Bathroom went from ordinary and dated to transitional and quite beautiful.

AElements & Principles
Emily was great. She found a solution to moving things around in a bathroom remodel that nobody else thought of and it solved the issue. Overall worked with us great as a designer for our main bathroom remodel and then did the design and install on a closet organizing system. We wanted our bathroom remodel to fit into the fact our house is 1969, and she blended it well so it fit the period.

Not a single complaint. Job went as planned, on time and on budget. Would not hesitate to hire again. A big thank you to the K-2 team.

Recent Review: Steve and the crew with 4 Seasons were excellent to work with. Steve made the process easy to understand, and he was very personable. It almost felt like working with a family member throughout the whole process. He made sure to be there with us to pick out each of the pieces and managed hiccups along the way (there are always hiccups and unexpected circumstances!) professionally and in a timely manner. He also made sure to stick with the project until we were fully satisfied and made sure it was all done right. We would definitely hire again! We get so much positive feedback from visitors to our home, and love the relaxing atmosphere this remodel created!

Recent Review: This was the fourth project that Country Creek Builders did for us so it's obvious we feel they do awesome work. Whether we deal with Dan, Dave or any other member of their team, everyone is always knowledgeable, courteous, and completes quality work. We worked primarily with Dave on this particular project and he was terrific to work with. We were always kept informed as to the status of the project and what and who to expect when. Whether the job is small (as this one was) or extensive (which we've done before), the quality of Country Creek Builders is consistently high. I highly recommend them for any remodeling project.

Recent Review: VIP did an excellent job remodeling our bathroom. Each employee or sub did very good work, especially Scott who spent the most time on the project. Cleaned up at the end of every day so it didn't feel like we were living in a construction zone. Every one of their people were very friendly and courteous. They kept us informed of the project status and told us daily when they would be back, which was pretty much most days until we had to wait for the countertops to be cut and installed by Cambria. We are very happy with the end result.

Recent Review: Mark was very easy to reach, and we were able to have him come by to make an estimate within a week of my initial contact. His bid came in right at my budget, and he was able to schedule the work in about another week. He was very thorough, both in letting me know what to expect, and in keeping me updated once the work began. His work was very thorough as well. Once completed, he was extremely conscientious in making sure I was happy with the remodel. I was extremely happy with the work--a totally transformed bathroom. I found Mark to be very talented at remodeling, he came in at his estimate, and I would use his services again.
