Recent Review: I called and asked a question about posts holding up my back deck, as to what needed to be done with them before they were covered up partly with dirt. Troy got back to me within minutes with a text explaining what was needed depending on what kind of posts they were. Then he informed me he was booked up for the rest of 2018. You can bet I'll contact him again if I need to do anything with the deck next year. I was impressed that he got right back to me even if it wasn't going to mean business for him.
Recent Review: Scott worked hard to help expand the deck within our space, and to get materials to match the old. The deck was completed in the promised time and cost, and the work site left clean. We are very happy with our larger deck.

Recent Review: It was fantastic. Mark, the owner, helped design exactly what we were looking for. Carl, the project lead and primary craftsman, took personal ownership in making sure everything was perfect. This was no throw-it-up in 2 weeks kind of project. And Infinite Decks was not that kind of company. Every detail was carefully thought out. Every cut, every corner, every joint, was done to perfection. I can't say enough positive things about Mark, Carl, and their crew. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a dream deck.
Recent Review: Attractive service, and the deck looks great. Took them a little while to come back for the finishing touches, but the deck looks great. They offer a yearly 'maintenance' contract of some sort, at a large discount from the initial pricing. I am looking forward to this service, when my deck needs it. I would absolutely trust the workers with my deck again.
Recent Review: Outstanding, Outstanding, Outstanding. Those words express how pleased we are with the planning, service, and professionalism of the people we dealt with at Outdoor solutions in creating our new deck. We expressed our concerns with our existing deck to Christy and Jim and they were able to provide solutions to our issues, including providing a barrier to keep raccoons out from under our new deck. An AZEK no maintenance deck was the answer. Amy, Marshall, Mike and Cheryl were the crew that installed the deck in a day and their professionalism and detail to their work was very assuring to us. WE could not be more pleased. Thanks to all.

ADupont Construction & Remodeling
We couldn't be happier with how our raised deck turned out. Dupont Construction was very easy to work with. They answered all our questions before, during and after the construction. Wonderful attention to detail. AZEK decks are expensive. We got several bids and Dupont was the least expensive, even before the Angie's List discount. If you are going to spend money on a deck, make sure it is done right and hire Dupont.

ACurt's Custom Decks Inc
Located Curt through Angie's list. He had very good reviews and was a local contractor. On our first contact he asked for the dimensions of the deck over the phone and gave us a rough estimate. The number didn't scare us away so we asked him to come out and provide us we an exact quote. He was there the next day at the time agreed to. Curt is very personable, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He notice that we had this little deck off the mud room and suggested that we might want to replace that as well. Great idea. Curt's pricing was in the ballpark with other vendors we looked at. Some of the key things we liked about Curt was he only did decks, he did not farm the work our to subcontractors, and he only worked one job at a time. Curt was very clear that when we accepted his quote we would go into the queue. We accepted his quote in mid-June 2015. He estimated that the work would start around mid-August but again was clear that bad weather may push that date off. In fact he got started the 31st of August. We had a family reunion that same week with about 20 adults and children at our house. We were a little worried. Curt and his crew came in on the day they said they would. They worked steadily for four of the hottest days of the year. They were all very pleasant and worked around the family members. There was no conflicts or even a hint of a conflict. I think some of the crew would have liked to join the kids on some of the yard toys. Curt and his crew were all very friendly and easy to talk to. The decks were built solid and done to our complete satisfaction. The city inspector was even complimentary about the work during the final inspection. We would recommend him without reservations and we would use him again.

AOutdoor Solutions Inc
Having had a wood deck for more than 20 years, which was beautiful when it was young, I knew that when I replaced that deck, I would want something that didn't need to be stained or painted each year. After learning about the variety of products, I chose Azek because it is basically plastic, and wouldn't be affected by moisture. I could find just a few companies in the area that worked with Azek: one didn't return my call, one was very expensive, and then there was Outdoor Solutions. Mike came to my house as the salesman, and later, headed up the crew that actually installed the deck. He suggested color combinations, which was good for me because I don't have a good eye for design. The work took a week, including tear down of the old deck and construction of the new deck. The old deck was hauled away, and I liked that there was never a Dumpster on my driveway. Clean-up was pretty good but not perfect: I found several little cellophane wrappers in the lawn, as well as a hammer. I also found several screws in the garden beneath the deck. There was also very little notice between telling me when work would start and when it actually started - like a few hours. These little things, however, would not get in the way of considering Outdoor Solutions for future work. Mike did not respond to either of my texts after the work was done, addressing the hammer I found in the lawn and to find out whether he wanted to pick up the final check from me or mail it to the company.

ABuilding Decks & Beyond LLC
After 26 years our cedar deck had seen its better days. Doing research, getting quotes and exploring options takes considerable time. Even after that how do you decide what is best. We chose Building Decks & Beyond because Jason went above and beyond to explain the options available to us. Because building codes have changed over the years Jason designed a frame that would meet current codes, even impressing the city building inspector. The workmanship was superb. Friends and family are very impressed with our new deck especially the lights that add a nice touch. I highly recommend Jason and his team at Building Decks & Beyond. I seldom write reviews but with the outstanding service and quality craftsmanship, it would be an injustice if I did not submit this review.

Conclusions: Good deck completed. Poor cleanup and a couple quality issues. First we did considerable research on metal railings and are happy with the Westbury rail design and the glass is nice for the view. We like the Timbertech composite wood. We had many quotes for this job & Ugly Deck had good reviews & were competitively priced. Invoice completed in Oct 2014. Ugly Deck started the work later than estimated by well over a week. Initially only deck boards & new railings were to be completed. But after inspecting the insufficient old deck footings, we decided to replace the entire deck. This was now December so we agreed to complete the deck on the old footings & support beams, and have the new footings and beams completed in spring. They said they planned on doing the beams last anyways. The upper deck completion went fairly well with a few communication issues that were resolved. I did need to call numerous times to find out when Ugly Deck would return to complete work. Clean up was poor during the winter & spring months. There was no protection on large areas of grass where there was considerable plastic & metal small end pieces, dust/shavings, nails, screws & shims (magnet was not used to pick up metal scrap). In the spring after the footings went in the new approx 8 ? long 6x6 beams were pounded in place underneath the deck. This left large mallet dents in the beams, and the beams were badly cracked. We complained & Ugly deck quickly sanded out most of the dents but we were not happy with the end result appearance of the posts, which is on our lower patio area w/patio pavers. The deck creaks a lot especially when walked on, I assume there are internal stresses due to the construction process used. I built our other deck with Timbertech and have no issues with creaking. Ugly Deck sent us the final bill but did not respond to my email regarding final quality for 2 weeks (I also called). By this time I had decided I would make the posts look best I could and had sanded, applied wood putty, painted the posts (my responsibility) and completed the pavers around the posts (my responsibility). They offered to replace the beams with no guarantee of cracking if I paid for the beams. I said there were a few minor issues including proper dressing of wires against the house and I asked them to come out to cleanup the remaining issues. No one has come out even after a couple calls. I?ve since noticed the caulking under the deck where it butts up against the house has separated (possibly when they lifted the deck for the new beams), and one of the wires is badly nicked. Typically Ugly Deck sales and construction workers were pleasant to work with. But communications were lacking. We were disappointed in the clean up, lack of final quality under the deck & no final inspection. Work was completed around end of April 2015.
