Recent Review: I think he did a really thorough job. He took pictures, explained everything and was very thorough. He said for me to follow up with questions if I had them. He did take pictures of potential problems and that was included.
Recent Review: This is my second time going to Matt for a home inspection. This is now our second home, which is larger, older, and has a water well onsite. Matt was extremely thorough, which I needed as peace-of-mind when buying a home with potentially more concerns. He was able to share advice on the age of the home and expected challenges, which helps when coming up with any counteroffers and preparing savings money for future repairs. He is always punctual and does a great walkthrough the home to explain himself before sending the report via email. His attention to detail is amazing. Recommend him 100%!
Recent Review: Ken was very thorough and educational and a pleasure to work with! He took his time to make sure we didn’t have any questions by the time we left and explained everything that he noticed clearly. I would recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection! Very friendly!
Recent Review: Thomas is my favorite inspector. I was impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness on a rental house I was living in that sold 3 years ago, even though I was just the tenant. He was the buyers inspector. I tracked him down this year when it was time for my husband and I to buy a house. I was not disappointed. He not only came on short notice to Champlin for our first inspection...and after a car accident no less. Then he came back to help us decide if we wanted to run away when the house was flooding in the big spring rains we had! And he did it for free. When we decided to walk away and found a different house we hired him back to do another inspection and again we were very happy. He even gives a USB drive at the inspection with the report and photos. I love that no question is dumb to him. He thinks before he speaks and is super polite. And his son as well. He is very knowledgeable and tells his customers to call or email after the inspection if something comes up and we have questions. We also love that he walks through and shows what he found I. The inspection and doesn't rush. We would recommend him to anyone we know.
Recent Review: GARY SPENT A GOOD THREE HOURS AT THE HOUSE LOOKING AT EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY. AS I WENT ALONG WITH HIM, HE MADE VERY GOOD SUGGESTIONS FOR HOW TO FIX SOME OF THE ITEMS NEEDING FIXING (AND THERE ARE A LOT OF THEM). HE'S GOT A PORTABLE WORKSTATION, MAKING USE OF TODAY'S TECHNOLOGY, WHICH ALLOWED ME TO WALK AWAY FROM THE HOUSE WITH A COMPLETE COPY OF THE INSPECTION REPORT. GARY WORKS IN CONSTRUCTION, ALSO, SO HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING HOME INSPECTION.
Recent Review: Home inspector cited several inaccuracies in his inspection and scared the buyer to the point that they backed out of the purchase. Fortunately, the we had another buyer lined up quickly and their inspection found zero issues, which only further confirms the point that this inspector is unqualified for the work he is performing.
Recent Review: Contacted the provider who was very friendly, had next day appointments available. Advised that I purchased a townhouse and would need home inspection. Advised me would take 3 hours for him to walk through house and that the last hour I would need to be there for as he would walk through everything with me. Provider was very flexiable with his hours and asked what times would work for me. I advised him 10am-1pm and he said that is fine. Day of inspection showed up hour early, provider walked us through everything he found and went through the report page by page. Provider gave us pointers on how to fix things that were broke/needed fixing. Provider knew I was a first time home buyer in which he took extra time to show me where everything was located in the house (electrical panel, plumbing shut off etc) in case I needed to access them. Provider was very professional and very nice throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend him to someone else and use him again in the future.
It was pretty good. The only thing he missed out on during the inspection was a drainage pipe in crawl space needed a cap on it. Otherwise, his service was really good. He was giving more information than what we asked for and he was on time.

I hired American Waterworks for crawl space encapsulation in my home. I highly recommend this company, there top notch, professional, courteous, kept the work area clean. Shane is a representative with the company and helped me through this crawl space encapsulation process, he made sure I understood everything, what the job entailed from start to finish. Then I met with the job foreman on installation day, the installation crew were professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job (my crawl space looked like the pictures in the book they sent me). The crew worked hard to get the job done and finished the job ahead of time. After the job was completed, Shane followed up with me to make sure I was happy with job and if had any follow up question. This company does a lot of work with crawl spaces, basements, and their teams are very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate using American Waterworks.

I have a cement slab crawl space but house is on wet soil and there is a lot of shifting during the season. Our neighborhood has had a problem with garter snakes the past 2 years gaining entrance into our living spaces. They are under the cement slab and manage to get into the crawl space between the cement slab and walls of crawl space. I store many items in this space so this was a problem! After battling this for 2 years with 2 wildlife eviction services, I choose to have American Waterworks encase the crawl space. It is wonderful! The men were here on time, were very tidy and professional and got the job done in very timely matter. I now have an attractive , bright, clean crawl space where i can again store my belongings with no fear of running into any more garter snakes. Added plus is no moisture can get in the crawl space either. My piece of mind is well worth the expense.

December 2010 I contacted Complete Basement Systems for an estimate to encapsulate my two crawl spaces. Chad and I made an appointment for December 21 @ 9:00 AM. He was on time and I showed him the two areas I wanted fixed. He took his time to explain their products and methods of installation. He then offered some ideas that would better the whole project. He prepared the estimate on the spot with his computer and printer on company forms that included all information on prices, warranties, descriptions of work to be done, Notice of Right to Cancel and a diagram of the area of the project. I thought that was very professional because when he left I had all the information in front of me and I didn't have to wait for the mail to come for the estimate. I told him this was a lot to think about but I would let him know one way or another what my decision was. He did come back three more times because of more questions and concerns I had and finalely on April 5, I signed a contract to have the work done. All through this process Chad did not put any pressure on me and he took the time to answer all my questions. On May 18 The foreman Jason and his crew of 3 arrived to to complete the project. They arrived a little late due to a car accident along their way. Jason and I went over the project and I told him I would like to observe certain steps of the project. Him and his crew put down plastic runners on the finished areas of the house they would need to use to access the basement. I pretty much stayed out of the way until Jason let me know they were doing the work that I wanted to observe. What I saw was very impressive and I am glad I chose to do it that way. They finished the project in one day which was nice for both of us. They did a real good job of cleaning up when they were finished. The only thing I would suggest the company do in the future would be to stock their work trucks with bags of Floor Sweep for clean-up. This is not a complaint but a constructive suggestion. From my first contact with Complete Basement Systems, through my meetings with Chad, ending with the completion of the project with Jason and crew I can say I am completely satisfied the work that took place. I would recommend them in the future.

THIS WAS A DIFFICULT AREA TO WORK ON-A 3 FT HIGH CRAWL SPACE. THERE WAS NO UNFINISHED EXTERIOR ACCESS TO THIS AREA. THEY HAULED OUT SAND, DUG A TRENCH, PUT IN DRAIN TILE, LAYED POLY SHEETING MOISTURE BARRIER AND CEMENTED THE AREA. THEIR BID WAS THE HIGHEST AND THEY CAME WITH THE BEST RECOMMENDATIONS. THE INTERIOR WORK WAS DONE WELL. THE CEMENT CREW LEFT QUITE A MESS IN THE STREET AND I HAD A BIT OF CONFUSION GETTING SOMEONE BACK TO CLEAN IT UP. WHEN THEY DID COME BACK TO CLEAN UP, IT WAS DONE VERY WELL, AND I WAS COMPENSATED FOR THE CLEAN UP I HAD ALREADY DONE. I APPRECIATED THAT THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF FIXING THIS PROBLEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY HIGHLY, AS THEY DO FIX THE THINGS THAT MAY GO WRONG AND STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. GARY WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH.
