Recent Review: Shepard helped us determine how much fill we would need to prevent water in our new building. ?At the same time as they did the site prep for the building they also did the install of the tank for our new privy. ?They worked quickly and their pricing was the best we could find in the area. ?Shepard was recommended to us by our neighbor as well as the septic designer we used for the project.

Excellent service. The contractors putting up the pole barn were thrilled with the site preparation and overall quality of the ground work. Mark Peterson was prompt, provided quality work, and affordable. Very competitive pricing compared with other estimates received.

Awsome, he was here on time, was very thorough in looking things over before he started anything, easy to talk to, he was very careful to not disturb the surroundings on the project.

He didn't do what he was told and didn't do the job properly. I ended up bringing in someone else to finish the work.

Everything was excellent. They had some difficulty removing the old pipe because of the way it was installed. That took about 3 hours but they did it. They did this work prior to a re-roofing project I was about to have done so the sealing on the roof surface was quite important. They did an excellent job with the entire process.

Rick and Jody did an excellent job. They always showed up on time or early and did exactly what they said they would do. They work hard and are a joy to work with. It is rare these days to find such professionalism . Rick fit us in to his busy schedule to put in our new septic system and we appreciate his work so much.He installed the new system and dug up the 2 old tanks, arranged for the inspector to give us a certificate of certification right away and he left the lawn area smooth and well covered. His equipment is up to date and impressive. Thank you, Renner Excavating!

I did contact them and I got them scheduled to come and do the job at the end of September. They actually came out, looked at the job and gave me a bid. The first time that they came out was in the spring, maybe around April or May. I was in such a state of panic discovering that this is taking place in my basement. Overall, I was just freaking out and they came out, looked at it and said, "Yeah, we are going to tear the walls down and rebuild it." As far as how I had any reaction to them, they were two young guys and so I thought, "Well, they do not know what they are talking about." And then, I had another company come and look at it because they said that they could fix it with bracing an anchoring system. Well, that company came out and inspected it, gave me an estimate and then when their crew came out to fix it they said, "There is no way that we can fix that. It has to be replaced." So then I called Braaten back and told them that I was in fact going to need their services and I elected not to have it done until the end of September because it is going to involve tearing up my yard and I want to enjoy my garden for the summer. I was like, "This thing is not going anywhere. It is what it is so I will deal with the mess in the fall." So, they plan on coming back at the end of September and they will contact me before that because I have some things that I want to talk to them about first. They came out like the next day after I called them.

The project flawed smoothly. Adjustments were made as needed. mr Barry kept us in the loop on what was a stressful situation dealing with unforeseen and undisclosed water drainage issues.
