Recent Review: I called on Friday afternoon and scheduled an appt for the following Tuesday. Tech (Mark B) arrived at the end of the appointment window, but it was ok since he called to let me know he was running toward the later end of the time slot. Mark explained everything he was going to do before he started working. He was friendly and took time to explain the work and how things worked on the boiler. He replaced a zone valve, the pressure gauge, a thermocouple, and a drain valve that started leaking as he worked on it. He also did a full bleed/refill on the lines, vacuumed the dust out of and around the boiler, and cleaned out the burner elements. After the work was done, he showed me all the parts that were replaced, and walked me through the repairs and adjustments he made in detail. I was expecting a larger amount on the invoice because of a recent quote from a competitor, so I was pleasantly surprised. Great job by this company and I'd definitely call them for future service.

Recent Review: Over the past eight years, Schwickerts has installed various plumbing fixtures in kitchen and bath, re-worked our old radiator system, and installed our central air conditioning unit. In each case, they always arrived on time and treated my home as if it were their own. They clean up afterwards, which I really appreciate. They have good follow-up policies and reminders for maintenance. I have been very happy with their work over the past eight years.
Recent Review: The AC was in the throes of death. They tried to save it twice during the hottest part of the summer, but it just wasn't cooling properly. They fixed a broken wire in the outside unit, thawed the frozen A-Coil and cleaned the unit and filter. It seemed to be cooling, but after they left it gradually stopped cooling. We sweated through a few weeks and decided to replace it. Everything went well. The installer was very polite, explained everything he was doing and cleaned up inside and outside. We are very pleased with the outcome, especially since we had a hot steamy summer and grandchildren for a few weeks.

Recent Review: KSW was contacted for a central air conditioner installation and a representative scheduled for the next day arrived promptly on time. He gathered the data needed and would return that afternoon with a proposal. They submitted a comprehensive proposal for 3 options of Lennox Air Systems listing the warranties, rebates and totals for consideration. They were very friendly, professional and though we had used them in the past selected another brand that provided a better parts and labor warranty for the same cost.
Recent Review: Overall, it went well. The technician was on-time, and the work completed satisfactorily. They told me on the phone what the price of a basic service call was, which was in line with others. HOWEVER: anything beyond the basic service call and diagnostic was at tiered, structured price...not time and materials. In my case, there was a blown capacitor and the unit needed coolant. There was something called a Level 1 charge for replacing the capacitor, and once the unit was running, there was another Level 1 charge for adding coolant. Each Level 1 was $117 or thereabouts. I feel this is a very poor way to charge. Once the diagnostic is made, a time and materials charge should be used, otherwise there is little way to compare cost with others. After the repair, there was a strong push to purchase a service contract. This was a total waste of my time, but went on far too long before I was able to get the technician out the door. I will only use this company again when I cannot get timely service from someone else.

They were very courteous, professional, and efficient with the entire process. While receiving an estimate he provided all the information to make an informed decision yet I never pressured. All work was completed as discussed and in a timely efficient manner. They gave us instructions on proper operation as well as having everything cleaned up when they finished. After the furnace and air conditioner were installed and work completed, it was wonderful to have a new worry free system especially during the extremely hot season. When there was a question about the proper function of our air conditioner within a couple hours after it was started, I called and they immediately came out to resolve the issue which turned out to be very minor. I would definitely reccomend them for any HVAC needs.

From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, I was very impressed with the Tonna folks. I was given a thorough quote with all the applicable rebates worked into the quote. The installation people were very punctual and were very professional and courteous. They worked all day to get everything installed and working properly. They did a fantastic job. After the sale, they sent me all of the rebate forms I needed and filled out everything they could ahead of time. They were a pleasure to work with, and I woudl highly recommend them.

After installed, a tech went over the most important/safety features that I needed to know. I most definitely will have them install a new air-conditioner when the time comes.
