We built a new home on a hill with a national builder that was completed in late June, with a yard to be finished later. A sprinkler system and sod were to be installed after closing by the builder, but we did not buy the builder's landscaping package. It soon became clear that we at least needed rock installed around our house immediately, after our yard's final grading but before the sprinkler system and sod were put in, so as to avoid sprinkler heads right next to our house. The builder was not clear on their schedule for the grading, sprinkler system, and sod, so it became difficult to know when the rock should go in. When I explained the situation to Charles by phone, he came out the next day and gave us a quote to install black edging plus 18 tons of rock around our house. Charles said I should call him when I knew more about the yard schedule from the builder, and he would work us into his schedule. I suddenly found out from the builder that the grading would be finished on Thursday, July 30th, and the sprinkler system would be installed on Monday, August 3rd. I immediately called Charles, and he was able to fit the rock installation into his schedule on July 31st. Everything went very smoothly, and we got exactly what we wanted. The price seemed very fair, especially since it's a large house on a steep hill front-to-back, and this project required several men plus equipment on site. Charles was exceptionally nice and easy to work with, and we plan to have him back to give us a quote on putting in plants, shrubs, and possibly a patio next year. We highly recommend this company!
