Recent Review: g around They started promptly and completed the job in what we thought was a reasonable time frame. We had a couple hurdles in running duct work because it is a log cabin with logs in the interior also. They came up with a couple of clever ways to hide the ducts and a couple we just had to build something around to hide ducts.
Recent Review: This company is great! I had just moved to the area and really had no idea who to call to repair my furnace when it started making a horrific noise. I looked this company up and I will use them in the future! I called and they scheduled me in the next day, They scheduled me at 1 o'clock, however, they accidentally double booked themselves but they called right away and asked if I could be home at 10 instead. It all ending up working out. He even waited for me to get home because I was going to be a few minutes late. He looked at the furnace and explained what had happened and how to possibly prevent it in the future. He also explained the dimensions of my filter and where I coud get another when it came time to change it. Another co-worker dropped off the part and they were done within an hour. The two gentleman were very friendly and nice. I didn't even have to pay a cent! They just asked me who the person was who owned the house before me and then they said they would do all the paperwork to transfer the warranty...if you ask me that is service!
Recent Review: My husband and I decided that we were going to get a split system air conditioner. We received bids from three of the heating/cooling companies with high ratings here on Angie's List. The bids were similar but Summit seemed like the way to go. We liked that fact that the bid came to us by email,we were able to sign the contract and email it back and Jeff gave us a real level of confidence. Summit said they would arrive at 8:00 in the morning and they did. Jeff called before they arrived and I asked him if he would also give us a bid on some venting we needed done and also a garbage disposal. Summit is really one stop shopping. He came right out and by the way we live in the middle of nowhere. He took a look at the other jobs and orchestrated having them done that very day and gave us a 10% repeat customer discount. I was not expecting the work to be done the same day. I think all and all there were 5 or 6 young men in the house working away. I felt like some one from This Old House or something. Every one who came was pleasant and efficient. The guys had to shovel a path through the yard to get to the back of the house. (The deer think it is great!) When the electrician learned we were going to build a screen porch this summer, he arranged for the wiring on the outdoor portion of the AC unit to have outlets we can of use in the porch. When all the guys left you would never know they had been there. Everything was neat and clean. Jeff called the next day to make sure everything went well.
I called Bruce at Aire Serv at 3:00pm on a Friday and he had a technician in the area who came over at 4:15pm and replaced a bad capacitor by 5:45pm. And that's after running to a store to get a part! Tom (technician) was very friendly and informative to a guy like me who knows little about electrical engineering and appliance repair. I will use again and recommend friends and family to these guys as soon as I am done writing this review! Very satisfied!

ACOMO OIL & PROPANE CO
Their bid was among the lowest. They promised to install the A/C in a reasonable amount of time, and showed up as promised. The install took one day and the installer was professional and very gracious about answering all my questions during the install. Wade, the installer, was very careful to do as little damage as possible to the flower bed where the outside unit was installed( some pretty fancy footwork stepping over and around the plants he left in place). After the work was completed, Wade explained how everything worked and made sure I was comfortable with the operating features. They thouroughly cleaned up when they they were through. Mike Mcmanus, the service manager, even showed up during the install to make sure everything was going as planned. I would not hesitate to use Como for any of my future heating or A/C needs.

They are very good and I would recommend them. They were very accommodating and showed up when they said they would. They did a good job and we haven't had any problems since. The overall experience was excellent. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I plan on using them in our new house.

DCosgriff Sheet Metal
Cosgriff was the original contractor on the boiler system and central air for our house which is now 5 years old. Boiler heat exchanger failed this spring and they fixed that under warranty. Central air was out of Freon and they put in sealant and recharged. 2 weeks later it was out again. Service guy came out and found numerous leaks in the condensing unit. Took down all the unit info and said he would attempt warranty with Payne. After numerous attempts to contact Cosgriff I get no response. Found out recently their service guy quit. Had discussed finding some resolution if Payne did not honor warranty - i.e. get me a price on fixing. Not even a response to that.Have also found numerous problems with the original install on both the boiler system and air handling equipment. Small leaks on the boiler piping, lousy return air ducting that makes the unit very noisy, condensate drain tubing not hooked up, damaged blower mounitng. When I brought this to the service man's attention, he thought I could fix those problems easily so I did.Would not recommend this business at all.

The sales person was knowledgeable and on target on costs and payback. since I was looking to replace my furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater anyway - I liked the geothermal concept. The salesman directed me to the tax breaks and the rebate applications. My heating bills have dropped by 50 to 60%. The contractors were prompt and provided good quality work and good service. I had some followup related to a light on the instrument panel turning red and the service people were very prompt and diligent in correcting that issue (needed flow adjustment). My only concern was that the salesman I had worked with had said they would return in the spring after the ground had a chance to settle and level the landscape and leave the yard areas that had been dug ready to seed. That sales person left the company before my job was completed. The person handling my account after the transition did not inspect the yard personally. The grading work and quality of top soil that the subcontractor for the yard work used were not the best - this is the only reason I did not give them an excellent rating.
