I called Bison on August 23, 2016 when a foul smell appeared in our bathroom. Andrew was able to fit us in on short notice, which we greatly appreciated. When he came he took pictures of the plumbing and told us his boss, Jeff, would call us with an estimate the next day. TWO FULL DAYS later, I called and spoke to Kathy. She said she would have Jeff call me. The NEXT day, Jeff called with an estimate of $1,125 to provide an offset P-trap and bathtub fixtures - which is more than the going rate, but we wanted this in a rush. I gave him the go ahead and was told parts were ordered and he told me that he would call to schedule the installation. On September 6, 2016, Ray came to my house to take measurements (meaning the parts had not been ordered). He told me that he would "find the best price" for me and I would get a call when they could install. On September 9, 2016, Andrew returned to the house for the installation - but no one had called to set up the appointment and the only one home was my teenage daughter! I called and spoke to Vern, who apologized and had Andrew come back in the afternoon. This meant an unexpected afternoon off, but we needed the shower fixed, so we were glad to have Andrew come back. When he began the installation, he found that the parts were the wrong size. On September 14, 2016 I called to speak to Jeff, the owner. I explained that I was frustrated by the lack of communication throughout the process and wanted to know when we could get this wrapped up. He told me that he would call and see when the part could be shipped and "maybe" he could ask for express shipping. We were more than two weeks from the initial call! He told me if it could be in by Friday, he could do a Saturday installation - and wouldn't charge me for all the extra trips. For real?! Those "extra trips" were mistakes on his end! On September 17th, Andrew was finally able to complete the installation and did a great job (I even gave him money to buy himself birthday lunch). I asked him to have Jeff email me a detailed invoice and give me a call about my experience. As of today, I have seen and heard nothing from Bison, but a full charge to my credit card. Andrew went above and beyond. I would write a glowing review for him, but my experience with Bison Plumbing was nothing but bull.
