AClint's Building & Home Repair
We called Clint to see if they do shower door installations and received a quote for the installation. We set a date and time. We removed the old door and cleaned the old caulk off. He arrived on time and completed a quality installation on time and on price. He even got rid of the old door and new packaging.

AMC DANIELS KITCHEN & BATH
The sales consultant was knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced.   The installers were great.  Never a late or missed appointment, always neat, professional and top notch work.  I was a little worried about the potential for leaks in a tile shower, but there are so many layers of protection built into the shower floor that I expect it will outlive me.  They always put down floor protection and cleaned up completely.  Great job and really nice people to deal with.    There was a small problem with ordering and installing a custom shower door that took a couple of months to resolve, but they did resolve it and it's fine.   I'd recommend them and use them again.

AScott's Total Home Care
We are repeat customers many times over. Scott and Joe are very creative and work hard to make our vision come to fruition. The natural stone floor took a lot of extra time to prep but the end result is awesome. They installed a beautiful frameless shower door and an eye catching waterfall effect in the new shower that is a showpiece!

Jim and his brother Scott did a great job, exceeded all my expectations.  They were very professional, arrived promptly and were respectful of my home, covered flooring, etc. wherever they were working.  Jim is a perfectionist and pays close attention to all the details.  They had good suggestions on how the tile should be installed and were easy to work with.  At the end of the day, they cleaned up and left the project area easy to work around.  I would definitely recommend them.  I love my house again!

AFranklin Home Improvement
Hired Josh last fall to undertake some various remodeling projects throughout our home, with an emphasis on completely renovating our master bathroom. The bathroom remodel was a significant project - demo, new slate flooring, new tub & shower doors, drywall patching, painting, and installation of tub-to-ceiling glass subway tiles in the bath. Working with slate and glass tile is not easy, but Josh did an amazing job with it, as with everything else. Josh also installed some shoe molding throughout both stories of our house, and demo'd and coordinated replacement of our garage ceiling. From the start Josh was responsive, communicative, and easy & pleasant to work with. He was also meticulous about cleaning up, and very mindful of our home and pets while working during the day, which meant a lot to us. All for a fair price for such high quality of work. The biggest endorsement we can give is that we'd definitely recommend him to friends, and would hire him again without hesitation.

We are very happy with the results!  The house looks like new and clean.  It's insulated better.  Such an improvement over what we had got use to.  Sometimes you have to step back and REALLY look.  The bathroom is a delight.  Did I mention LIGHT?   The window and sunlight makes it so inviting.  It's a treat to get into the large shower.  We took the old tub out, so there's so much more room.  The tiling is beautiful and the flooring sets everything off.  Jeff uses the best in workers who know what their doing.  And they were ALL so nice, clean, respectful and honest .   They cleaned up every time.  Never a problem.  A good time was had by all.  At least I think they had a good time.  Always a smile on their faces.

AMarty's Handyman and Consulting Service LLC
Of several 'A' rated handymen services on Angie's List that I initially called, Marty responded to my call very promptly (note: some services on this list never even returned my call). He was very flexible and worked with my schedule because I had to travel about 1.5 hours to the property. He put together an estimate of the initial work that needed to be done and stuck to the estimate even though several of the projects took longer than he first thought after getting into them. He started the work only a couple of days after we discussed the estimate and worked on things steadily, getting everything completed in a timely manner. Because I wasn't present to see what was happening on a daily basis (the house was empty at the time), he called me periodically to update me on how things were progressing. He did a walk through with me after all the work was completed to make sure everything was to my satisfaction (it was). He had done some work that I had originally asked to get an estimate for, but then indicated I did not want to go ahead with. He realized that when writing up the invoice and did not charge me for it (it was a $250 estimated project). After the new tenants moved in, they noticed several additional things that needed repairs. I called Marty and he went over and addressed all the concerns within a couple of days. When he was there working, the tenant accidentally locked the bedroom door with her dog locked inside. The tenants were alarmed and Marty helped them to get the door open, and later replaced the door hardware to a non-locking unit at no charge. The dishwasher was leaking and he did some things that stopped the leaking when he ran a cycle after the repair, but it continued to leak when not running. He was able to narrow down the possible problem from the new symptoms and what he had done, and returned to address those things. It then worked great and saved me from having to replace the unit! I had asked him to look at a dryer that had a tub that was not turning, but he said he was not as updated on dryer repair as others would be, so recommended another service provider that had more experience with dryers. Overall, Marty was easy to work with and did great (and varied) work. I will use him again and am really happy to have found a reliable, knowledgeable handyman to help with my rental property.

BDream Maker Bath & Kitchen
Our project began with bids taken in April 2014 with a goal of completing the work prior to June 1, 2014.  We selected Dream Makers and made the first payment at our first meeting when we met with a staff member and owner to explain specifically what we wanted in a finished product.  The meeting seemed to be a success.  Hardware was ordered after viewing a catalog.  Samples were not provided.  Ceramic tiles were selected from samples and our specific shower space design which included built-in shelving was confirmed. We left the second meeting expecting to hear from the staff member who was to set a work schedule.  Until we called two weeks later to check on the progress of scheduling the work there was no communication.  The staff member explained "we (Dream Makers) have done nothing; we have been waiting for your response."  There was nothing to respond to; we were confused. Two weeks lost. We moved forward with another meeting near the end of April.  At that meeting plans for our project were set in motion and the staff was to develop a schedule   to complete our work by June 1.   Within the week we received a call that the June 1 date could not be accommodated.  This was our second disappointment. We regrouped and delayed the construction until August 1, after our summer visitors departed.  A planning meeting in mid-July was canceled by Mike and rescheduled for "the week before work was to begin."  Finally, August arrived, a schedule was determined for what we expected to be a two week project.  Prior to the first work day, the owner brought a work progress communication "display" to our home.  The "display" was to provide the home owner with day-to-day progress notes plus provide an opportunity for the home owner to comment on the work being done or ask questions.  While the intention of this "prop" was well intended it failed as a true means of communication, plus it occupied a sizable portion of the entry to our home throughout the remodel. The project stretched to three weeks, then a couple days more.  The owner and another person did the demo and reconstruction prep.  The tile people, once scheduled were dependable and efficient.  We allowed them to work on a weekend when we were absent in order to get the tile work finished.  The tile craftsmanship was excellent.  The men (two) were dependable and there were no worries about security. Although we were told various trades would be used by Dream Makers for our project, only the owner, his helper, the tile people and the door installers worked on our project.  The owner handled the plumbing which took a couple of days which confused me until I learned he had problems sweating the copper.  Also, one of the water supply valves was installed backwards which reverses the "hot" and "cold" water selection in the lower level shower (cold is left, hot is right).  We accepted the problem to avoid further delays which was probably a mistake. Once the tile work was complete the templates for the shower doors were made.  Delivery of the shower doors was about 10-11 days.  Beautiful doors!  Skilled installers directly from the fabricating company installed the doors perfectly.  Finally, after Labor day our project reached the "finished project" phase. In late October, early November we discovered three sharp corners on the tile that surrounds the Jacuzzi tub.  The owner visited the site a few days later to determine what needed to be done.  About 10 days after the visit the owner returned to correct the sharp corners; a 30 minute fix.  One appointment was missed because I forgot it so it was rescheduled. In October we experienced leakage from sweep area of the door.  The owner scheduled the installers two weeks later to inspect the problem.  They arrived, commented that they thought the initial design was flawed and proceeded to correct the problem by installing new gaskets around the door and a small "dam" on the shower floor in line with the closed door.  The 1/4 inch high "dam" eliminated the water leaking from the shower onto the bathroom floor. Finally on or about December 6 our shower project was complete.  The tile workmanship is high quality.  The organization Dream Makers proclaims lacks concise fulfillment.  The owner has a penchant for being "really busy" which makes his follow through ineffective. As far as we are concerned the staff member we worked with seemed ill equipped to assist the customer in product selection and ill informed as to her role; she lacks patience.  All in all, the project took far to much time to complete which elevated our personal stress.    Dream Makers seems to be "process driven" rather than "results driven." It was our opinion that the trades used on project were otherwise engaged and accepted Dream Maker work in addition to their regular jobs.  We tried to be understanding and think we were but working with Dream Makers really required immense energy and patience
