Recent Review: Was very good and prompt at communication. After requesting an estimate he was out the next day, and I had an estimate within a few days. The estimate came in about 1000 less than my insurance adjuster gave me, essentially waiving my deductible. Steve was very proactive about recommending some changes and improvements that can be added, being mindful of being within my budget. They were basically fixing previous DIY projects. All of the improvements he suggested were less than 500 dollars combined and have vastly improved either the aesthetics, or prevented long term costs. The 3300 didn't include cost of tile, but Steve recommended where to purchase at, as well as picking it up, I had to match tile to the rest of the bathroom, and he knew exactly where he can find it, as well as suggestions on which types of grout. I had no idea there was more than one. When tearing down the shower, he was mindful of reusing the shower glass, which saved me a 1000.00 in material, and even waited a week, after the job was done on a replacement rail that I had damaged previously. Steve handled most of the work himself, but had a guy, Dustin, (who specializes in tile) take care of the shower, and he did a phenomenal job. I was able to put any decisions in his hands and know that it will look good. I have a small corner shower with a round exterior, so everything had to be customized. Such as color of grout, and he recommended putting a slab of granite under the glass to stabilize it better, plus it looks great. The job was messy with a ton of dust, but they were dealing with tile, grout, and drywall, so Im not sure if I really had a choice. He did make things better it could have been, because all of his power tools were attached to a giant vacuum cleaner, which I had never seen before, I don't eve know where you would buy one, which dramatically cut down on the dust. He gets a B for professionalism just based on the paint job, it was good but not great. He's a construction guy, not a painter I suppose, I had him do it, because I HATE painting and didn't want to coordinate another painter.
