Recent Review: I called them to come out just before Labor Day weekend and they said they could get someone over after the holiday. I expected this anyway. The repairman scheduled a time of "afternoon" he "got busy" and could not make it until 6:15PM. Yes, it is late but he could have just brushed me off but he didn't. He spent three hours diagnosing the problem, and came to the conclusion he needed to order some parts. You may think he spent all that time so he could charge hourly labor, not the case the company charges one set fee of $65 for each job. No matter how long they're there or how many times they need to come back it is still $65. He came back when the parts came in and fixed all that was wrong. Even after finding another problem he did not charge us extra. Our oven works great. Appliance repair is expensive and I had heard this company was a bit on the pricey side, however the service was excellent all the way through and they make up for the price by having set fees. I would use them again.

Recent Review: Repairman was able to come two days after my call.  I was told there would be a $50 charge for the visit, which was fine.  A month earlier when I had called this service I was told by the office manager that they wanted cash only, due to receiving some bad checks. I did not think this sounded professional and did not use them. However, this time I noticed that Angie's info lists checks and credit cards, so I was going to press the issue if it came up. I did not, and I was able to pay with a check. Repairman was very knowledgeable and had several ways of testing to confirm the problem. I was very pleased that he had the required part in stock, in his truck.

Recent Review: Steve, the repairman, analyzed the problem and provided a good explanation, indicating we needed a new senser and another part (I forget). He indicated they would call back with a specific dollar estimate, once he checked prices back at the office. They did indeed call with an overall parts price that made a repair illogical for the age of our range.

Recent Review: My husband and I just moved to the area and our home was under a purchased warranty agreement. Within two days of moving in, which was the first opportunity I had to cook an actual meal, the oven of the stove did not work. The next day, we began smelling gas in the kitchen. The warranty company suggested I contact a local serviceman to look at the stove. When I called, the serviceman and I agreed I would pay for a service call upfront in which I would then submit to the warranty company for reimbursement. He showed up promptly and within a few minutes, he knew what was wrong with the stove. He was honest about the age of the stove (which was fairly ancient) being problematic for obtaining parts for repair. My warranty company seemed hesitant with his assessment of the stove, so they called him directly. Within minutes, the warranty company called me back with an offer to buy me a new stove! The serviceman knew his business and did not mess around getting down to work. I would have happily paid the service fee, but his assessment took so little time, he refused to charge me. We will defintely use their services again if the need arises.

We had just had our washing machine fixed by Ted, so thought of him immediately when we noticed a smell of gas near our oven.  Ted arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in about 15 minutes.  It was a valve in the broiler section of the oven that had been leaking. Ted was very pleasant and efficient - I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. I will think of him any time we have an appliance in need of repair. We only wish we had known Ted before we replaced our old refrigerator.  Bet he could have fixed it for a fraction of the cost!

AMiller Appliance Sales and Service
It cost $65.00 for the service call and $55 for the part and labor of the repair. They are always very reliable. I have been using this company for 44 years and am always happy with their work.

Dan had to trouble shoot why our side by side refrigerator door would not close tightly. He determined that it was not the cam and found the hinge was riding too low. Once the hinge was raised, the door closed correctly. Dan also figured out why the drawer on our stove would not open (drawer wheel nut and bolt fell apart). This was not a simple fix. Dan had to remove the oven door, loosen the drawer handle screws, remove the drawer handle, and then figure out why the drawer would not open. Dan was punctual, professional, very knowledgeable, and did an outstanding job. We highly recommend Dan and Tri Lakes.

FSUPERIOR SERVICE
Twice we have tried to use this provider. The first time (a year or two ago) he came to fix my dryer but after his repair it still didn't work (and he wouldn't listen when I tried to explain the problem--just dismissed me). After numerous calls over weeks and weeks which he didn't return I finally bought a new dryer. He did reimburse part of the cost of the repair. Now my husband has had a part for our stove on order (supposedly) from him for over a month and he won't return our calls. We haven't been able to use our oven for about 3 months. I don't know if he has ordered the part or if he was just blowing smoke. I don't know how he stays in business!
