Portage Patio Installation

I took advantage of an Angie's list special price for 2 hours of work to have Swan's Handyman replace the screening on my patio.  The existing screens were old and torn in places and the oversize sections were too difficult for me to handle.  Randy Swan and Marcus arrived punctually, performed the work efficiently and professionally, and cleaned up nicely.  I would definately use the service again.

Called and came out to give estimate next day. Sent quote next day. We approved quote and they started the next day. Estimate to completion in a week! Awesome!

We got several quotes initially for our large landscaping and hardscaping project and Tom blew everyone else out of the water. He has an obvious eye for detail and listened very carefully to our input in generating our design. When it came time to start the project, everything commenced exactly when he said it would. His crew is clearly well-trained and their precision and attention to detail was impressive. They were extremely respectful of our property throughout the process. Tom was open and receptive to input as things progressed along and was even willing to make some cosmetic changes in the hardscaping design mid-project. Everything was complete within a week of his estimated date and there were no loose ends. We are extremely pleased with the end product and will be using Tom and his crew in the future for any and all landscaping and hardscaping projects.

They arrived promptly and cleaned up all materials. Marc was very helpful in returning any phone calls. The work was performed well. We were very pleased with his professionalism and will use his services again for other projects.

Ron and his crew, Randy and Dallas, were very easy to work with.  All were punctual, hard working and made sure they explained the process and the time frame. Cleaned up the job site and were considerate of our lawn , which was a concern with heavy concrete trucks. Very pleased with the outcome and we are enjoying our new patio!

He was very responsive and open to any changes. Gave me a few ideas and kept the lines of communication open. The work was done quickly and efficiently without dragging anything out and with no other property damaged in the process. It's been a year and he even came over to check how the patio was holding up.

Quality Concrete & Masonry workmanship and customer focus are EXCELLENT.  Bryan Halder has great communication skills.  He will return your phone calls promptly and will take the time to answer all your questions.  He was very accommodating when I made "last minute" changes to the proposal. His crew members are very friendly, skilled in concrete flat work, and extremely hardworking.  They went the "extra mile" for me by helping me with the landscaping around the new patio and sidewalks.  He sent his dump truck to Mulders Landscaping Supply to pickup 10 yards of top soil. His Bobcat guy was amazing and he leveled the top soil around the patio and sidewalks.  This was not in the proposal and Bryan did not charge me for the additional work his crew did for me.  Most importantly, the top finish on the concrete patio and sidewalks were awesome - you could tell by the finished product that Bryan has many years of experience in pouring and finishing concrete. I strongly recommend Bryan and his crew for any concrete work you may need - two thumbs up!

It took Mike three weeks to make my new space beautiful. And boy did he. The demo went fairly easy and the removal of all old material only took a couple days. I feel as though Mike listened to all of my wishes for the new patio, and he explain himself through the whole process. I asked many questions along the way, and he was very forthcoming with answers. Mike never showed inpatients with me, and always went beyond what was expected of him. Several days during this project the weather was awfully hot, and most of those days he kept on working. His work ethic is fantastic, and his wanting to do a good job showed. Mike's estimate for the job was primarily why he was chosen for the job at hand, but it was his character that sealed the deal. My patio looks fabulous, so I know I made the right choice. I have gained a and quot;Creative Brickscaperand quot; and a friend through this experience. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He came in preped the area, cut all material with saw instead of chisel and hammer, fit around deck post for patio and did the retaining wall with planters on a 8ft drop down to patio for walk out basemsnt, great transition on curve down to lower cement patio. The curved steps beside planters are great to work on keeping the flowers clean and looking good.

He was the third person we called about getting a patio put in, he got the estimate back to us quickly.  He was the only one that actually gave us an estimate then we got things set up quickly.  He did great work.  While he was here we needed some other little things done  and he either did them for free or charged us very little.  We are enjoying the patio.
