Recent Review: These guys are great. They are family-owned, but have been around for 40 years. They are dependable, trustworthy and love to educate. I saw them installing a huge water treatment system at a local car wash. When they were done, the water coming out of the hoses was cleaner than what comes out of my faucet! If you need a whole house water softener and filtration system, they have it. Need a couple of toilets installed? They can do it! I trust these guys. You should to. They are my go-to guys. Call 'em!

Recent Review: They did an "A" plus. We had some issues with our iron filter that goes along with water treatment. They put in a new water holding tank which is not having issues. They are very good! Very prompt and courteous. When we call, they call right back and will come anytime without waiting. They are really nice people.

Recent Review: Great service. Our old system lasted 22 yrs but then our well water starting smelling and tasting funny (like smelly socks). We had the system tested last year by another co but all they said that it was installed incorrectly back then but seemed to be working. We met the Bestco rep at the homeshow this year and were impressed; altho their sales pitch was a little too technical with testing jargon. Our water smell and flavor improved immediately; system doesn't use as much salt as the old one.

AClearwater Treatment Systems
I was very impressed with them because I have an older system and they were able to repair it for not very much money. Normally when a company comes in and you have an older unit, they say that its too old to repair and say that you need an entirely new unit. But he came in and fixed the system quickly and efficiently.

AAdvanced Water Treatment & Well Drilling
Advance Water Treatment provided excellent maintenance and repair on my water softener for over 20 years.  When it was time to look at a replacement they provided prompt appointment and reasonable proposal.  Installation was a breeze and included meeting my request to install an indoor faucet for un softened water for watering my plants in the winter.  Everything works great and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.  I would definitely recommend using them

FSTATE SOFT WATER CO
It was clear that the "technician" sent out to do the actual work did not have the expertise required. The new carbon filter continued to leave black grit in the water. The same technician was sent back to replace that filter, and the new one did not leave the same black grit in the water, but subsequent inspections by more than one local water treatment company indicated that the carbon filter had actually been installed improperly, with the flow going in the wrong direction. I cannot be sure how this error ultimately affected the overall performance of my water treatment equipment, but I can say that shortly after the $600 "service" done by State, my water softener stopped working completely. Also during that follow-up visit, that same technician went into the hall bathroom upstairs to run the water in the sink to check that the carbon sediment had now been removed. To this day, I do not know what this person did in the bathroom, but after he left my home, I happened to open the door on the bathroom vanity and found everything in the cabinet sitting in water. I quickly soaked up all of the water and removed the drawers (also soaked) and had to leave the cabinet door open for a couple of weeks to help the water-soaked wood dry out and hopefully avoid mold formation. The only indication that anything had happened during that "service" call by the State representative was the water-soaked towel that he had forgotten to take with him and instead left on the railing in my garage. But this person walked out of my home without saying anything to me about the damage that he had done in one of my bathrooms! I called State's owner the next day to complain about what had happened, but I was not given even the courtesy of a return call. During the original installation, the same technician had made other equally serious mistakes in his work. When he removed the large holding tank, he cut the wires connecting that tank and valves to the well intake pipe in the basement wall. The next morning when I turned on my faucets, I had no water. To the credit of State's owner, he did respond to my text messages and phone calls, & came out personally to inspect the problem, but could not say what exactly had been done. He called Keller Well Drilling and they came out that same morning to install new equipment to connect to the well intake pipe in my basement. State Soft Water does seem to offer lower prices, but if they send out people who don't know what they are doing and actually do damage to your home without even telling you about it, there really is no savings to be had. This was one of my worst experiences with home repair services.
