This is the third delivery I've had from KLS. Renovating a house with a dirt driveway that was a mud pit this spring. I knew I needed to do something, but expensive options like paving were not possible. KLS recommended first 4' of stabilized gravel spread and driven over to smash it down (same thing they use for gravel roads). Then a 2' layer of crushed stone on top. They are very patient and helpful in explaining options and how to's. I also had them deliver some landscaping stone for around my house.

Terry provided a quote via email a few days after I called her and she stopped by to assess our egress window. She also suggested adding gravel for better drainage with the wood (which we didn't have prior). The work was almost fully done in two days with their team of two working on it. The third day they finished their clean up of the site. They asked a lot of questions (we had problems with our egress draining when it rained) and provided solutions to improve drainage in addition to just replacing the wood wall, which had rotted over time. They added the gravel, cleaned the drain, and caulked around the window area. They also found a hole in the side of the drain that was allowing rocks to flow into it, also impairing proper drainage. Bottom line: this is a quality company. This is our second experience with them and they are thoughtful, hard working, diligent and don't do anything without the owners approval. They also leave the site immaculate when they finish.

ACD Lawn Maintenance
It only took three days...during our recent heat wave even.  Per my request, they saved all of the perennials that weren't being used in the plan so I could use in another area or give away.  I am not the easiest person to please as I do not like to have the same plants as everyone else in the neighborhood: boxwoods, japanese maples etc;  so my instructions were vague to Chris...I told him I like anything but those, and it has to like a soil pH of 7.5...you get the idea,  I am sure I was a pain in the behind but he never complained and I ended up with a beautiful-not like everyone else in the neighborhood-front border landscape design. We also use his services for mowing in summer and snow removal in winter and have always been satisfied... Chris is very detail oriented and has a great eye for what plants will look good with a particular style of house.   I do plan on using his services again next spring: I have several raised bed gardens and would like a 3' perimeter around them filled with either pea gravel or mulch and a little garden fence around the whole thing.
