Recent Review: Couldn't have been any better. Very fast service, cleaned up everything when finished. Wonderful company and Eric and his wife are always on top of our needs. They answer even the smallest of questions and do a great job. They have opened and closed our pool for years - I would have no one else.

Recent Review: Viscount Pool & Spa highly recommended Spa Services so I called and spoke to Shea who was very pleasant and efficient. Shawn came out right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem (which was an unusual one) fully explained the cost etc. of the repair and after my approval quickly went to work and made the repair. Shawn was very knowledgeable, honest and personable. I believe you can totally trust this company!
I called Todd after several attempts to get my Spa repaired. He arrived exactly when he said he would and talked me through the diagnostic process as he went along. My problem was a little more complicated than I had hoped it would be. The motor for the pump is not easily found these days, and a retrofit is quite expensive. He probably could have sold me a new assembly because I had already had the old one repaired by an area rebuild shop. Todd offered to take the unit in and discuss what he had found to the repair facility. The short of it? The tub is up and running for a fraction of what I thought it would cost! I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing spa service. Again, he was on time, straight forward, and honest with his assessment. I got way more than I expected and learned a few things too.

BHot Tub Guy
I subsequently talked to the service provider, who offered to repair the problem with the hot tub with no charge for labor. In the meantime, I had another hot tub provider repair a leak in the tub. He indicated that the mother board was ok and that the problem was in the control panel.

Todd Arrived at our house to inspect our hot tub and check to see what was wrong wit hit. He far exceeded this by offtering great advice, tips, and never tried to push us into buying anything extra. He also quoted prices on the spot and diagnosed any other possible things that they may need repair. We will be calling him the next time we need a "Hot Tub Guy". Thanks Todd!

AMike Cruce Licensed Handyman
Mike and I worked together on this project to restore my deck, which was damaged by the prior homeowner's hot tub. Mike replaced several of the deck planks, removed an old trellis and added new bench seating. He displayed excellent rough carpentry skills and was a pleasure to work with. The end result was functional, beautiful and affordable. Mike was punctual, professional and a pleasure to work with. I plan to use his services on future jobs.

After replacing the motherboard, the controls did not work properly. One jet no longer functioned, at all. The provider was unable to fix it. He told me to try to have the distributor replace the motherboard. The distributor refused to do this. The other alternative was to replace the control unit, at a cost of $500 to $600. Another provider of services looked at the hot tub a month later and stated that he could get the jet to work and stated that we had a bad control unit (which he had placed 12 months ago). This last week, the spa was not heating up. Inspection revealed that the motherboard was burnt up by the heating element. My current provider stated that the heating units were not properly attached. It was to have two heavy copper strips to conduct the electricity. On one side, the copper strip was replaced by a thin wire, which burned through. He also stated that the motherboard had to be programmed to accept the second jet and that the two previous providers did not notice this, either (along with the wire). He replaced the motherboard, added the proper copper strips, programmed the motherboard. And not the tub works properly for the first time in quite awhile.

AROMAN'S POOL SUPPLIES & SVC
Roman Pool and Spa have cared for our pool and spa, repairs, opening and closing of the pool, since the company who installed the pool went out of business. They have been professional, personable, fair and reliable helping us as if they had installed the pool. They are always on time with their service calls and, even if they did not carry the type of equipment our former company installed, they have always been able to repair and maintain our unique system. I highly recommend them and if ever we move, Roman Pool and Spa will be the ones to install our next pool.

He was hard to get in touch with initially but it was over the Christmas holidays. I now have a better contact number than what was in the phone book which is the number listed here. He is very professional, he used to build hot tubs and service them before having his own business. He is a very nice guy, figured out my problem quickly and was very honest. His fees were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

FJOHNSON POOLS & SUPPLIES
I ordered a $2000 130,000 BTU pool heater for my 27' above ground pool in 2012. They installed it and I had trouble heating it from day one. I thought I didn't have a big enough heater. I discovered the problem this year (2014) and that was that their "experts" installed it wrong. The intake and outgoing pipes were opposite so there was never any heated water going back into the pool. I went in and showed them pictures of the arrows going in and out of the pool and how it was opposite and they sent the same guy out to fix it as installed it. He was here 15 minutes, turned my filter and moved it over so it would reach the heater without redoing or making the pipes long enough to reach. Didn't look good, but that is how they "fixed" their mistake. A month later, the pool heater stopped working. When we opened it up, where the pipes go in was all rusted. The repairman said he would see what he could do. I told him it has not worked since we had them install it and it was only 2 years old. (but out of warranty) Their answer was the same as I have heard before. They never checked the chemicals when he came out. I quote: "Suspect improper chemical balance, PH was very low. (Acidic water causes copper heat exchanges to deteriorate no warranty." In other words, not their problem and they would not admit to any wrong doing on their part. You be the judge, is this a business you want to spend money with?
