Recent Review: Jim did an excellent job.  He was extremely tidy.  The final product was perfectly smooth plaster, which was perfectly integrated into our historic home.  Jim was punctual, a great communicator, and easy to work with.  We would hire him again in a second.

Recent Review:     Water damage isn't  something you can anticipate, however having a roster of reliable service providers is key.  Angie's List brought Kelly onto my roster last fall and I went to the "bull pen" for a "relief pitcher" and Kelly came to the rescue.  Striking out the side and saving considerable expense on the part of this condo-owner. Recent Review: Never had the problem before, so I was really scared and concerned.  They handled everyting and told me that they were equpped to fix it all. They were very professional and helpful.  They were calm in a time of total chaos and they raised the black cloud out of our life.  My husband was out of town.  Thank you

Recent Review: Thuis included, painting, drywalling, flooring...etc. I thought they did a fair job, scheduling was a little dicey due to a lack of employees. When i had problems they were pretty quick to respond to them. There were a few problems with the painting work but they were also resolved. They do have a great carpenter.

Reviews in Eaton Rapids to Remove Water

A1-800 Water Damage
The remediation for the water damage went well. My only complaint is with the carpet repair company they suggested to me. They were extremely overpriced for what needed to be done. I highly suggest hiring Lowe's or Home Depot if you need padding or stretching of carpet done like I needed.

Horrible..took longer than told..told us 2 weeks took 3 months, renovated a bathroom, closet, kitchen and laundry area from water damage from a water heater gone bad while we were on vacation, there is 2" gap between wall and floor in bathroom didnt finish a wall just left it, the gaps in kick board in bathroom not filled looks horrible, the flooring that was layed has rippled in every room that they touched bathroom, kitchen and laundry area, there is leak in a wall from the shower that they took out and put a new one in water damage happening in laundry area, they had to take furnace out to replace floor and this winter our home wasnt getting any warmer that 52 degrees and that was help with electric heater. Our electric bill was 2,500 dollars this winter come to find out 13 inches of duct work was removed and never put back when the furnace was put back we just found this one cause had to wait for warmer weather so that will cost 300 dollars for us to fix which it should not we tried texting and calling and no return calls..they charged on itemized list to place cabinets in kitchen they didn't place them a friend did did they reimburse us that money NOPE. I would think twice or 3 times. This was an insurance claim cost over 20,000 which looks like a non professional did the job. No boss No owner of this company ever over looked or checked on the quality of job being done and never was the same men was working on the project when I stopped in.

Scott was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. He is knowledgeable about correcting water damage, drying out areas that can be salvaged, and preventing mold from getting a foothold in your home. His price was also very reasonable.

AAnew Damage Restoration
Provider inspected areas of concern to me and provided recommendations for lowering risk of water and mold damage.  Provider also did outside inspection of house foundation and provided information about high moisture readings and areas where water could enter into the house.  He made several suggestions to lower the risk of water entering into the house.  He provided a written report of areas inspected inside and outside the house, noting problem areas and suggestions for improvement.

APaul Davis Restoration & Remodeling
Woke up one morning after unusually hard rain to discover my drywall ceiling was hanging down due to water damage.  I immediately called my insurance agent, and my next call was to Paul Davis Restoration.  I spoke with one of their project managers about what had happened and arranged for him to come see the damage.  He promptly submitted an estimate to our insurance company.  Unfortunately our insurance company had a deluge of claims due to the storm and was slow to respond.  I called Paul Davis a few days later and was told that the project manager who submitted the estimate was on vacation.  We were assigned to another project manager, and the transition to him was seamless.  He knew exactly what had been submitted to our insurance company and followed up with them.  Paul Davis' project manager stayed in contact with me to make sure we knew the schedule of the work to be done.  All the repairs were completed in a short period of time.  Quality of workmanship to repair, re-texture and repaint the ceiling was excellent.  We've worked with Paul Davis before, and always been satisfied with their professionalism and workmanship.  I highly recommend them.

Our basement was flooded. We called AmeriPro to come in and do the clean up and repair work. The crew responded right away for a call made on a Saturday, and came 2 hours later and started exacting the water and removing parts of the basement that suffered water damage (baseboard of one room, carpet liner), and brought in fans to dry out the area. They also treated the area for potential mold. They came two days later to check on the drying and decided to leave a couple of the fans for one more day to ensure that the whole area is dried. They also did the repair work to replace the baseboard, repainted the wall and baseboard, and relined the carpet. They were punctual, efficient, and courteous.

CAaron's Restoration
Timothy Fish came out to the property at night upon hearing of the damage. He responded to a call from my insurance agent based on their past work together and my immediate need for assistance. Mr. Fish explained what work would be done and arranged for the work crews to arrive the next day. Unfortunately, though the work was completed as promised for the most part, it took significantly longer to complete the job than was quoted due to heavy work loads from unusually high numbers of ice dam backups this year. Contributing to the long completion time was some demolition crew members did not show up for the job and did not tell Mr. Fish or other management they were not coming. Eventually all work was completed, but mold was found to have been overlooked by their work crews, and now that the claim has been settled by my insurance company, the insurance company refuses to pay the estimated $1,000 in mold remediation, tear-out, and rebuild expenses that could have been paid had Aaron's Restoration's crew found the mold in the first place. This situation is unresolved at this time, but Mr. Fish has indicated he will speak with the owner of the company to see if anything can be done to remedy my mold problems in light of the unsatisfactory overall experience reported above. Throughout the process, Mr. Fish has been diligent in acknowledging my dissatisfaction at the company's lack of performance despite some of the situation being beyond his or ownership's control (e.g. labor force issues), and validating my complaints. I trust Mr. Fish personally and wish Aaron's Restoration luck in remedying their labor issues so that future customers do not experience a similar situation of and quot;over-promise and under-deliverand quot; as I experienced. I look forward to revising this review should their company come through with mold remediation, tear-out, and rebuild assistance for the mold areas that were missed prior to the insurance company's final settlement payment.

AMcDowell's Hardwood Floors
All I can say is "Wow!" Steve was so professional! The job is the best ever. The floor looks brand new. The scratches, spots, and warp are gone. Steve was quick, polite, and knowledgeable. If the floor needs to be refinished in the future, I'll definitely call McDowell's. He even cleaned up after himself! This is a professional I can highly recommend!

AMcDowell's Tile & Sons
The unexpected water damage found in both baths' sub-floors when the old tile was removed added to the cost and time for the job. I was glad that I had decided to totally remove the old tile rather than put new tile over the old. That meant unknown damage could be fixed rather than get worse. Jim was pleasant and very easy to work with. He managed to have a shower available for me every morning. I love the new look of both baths.
