Recent Review: Good in all ways. Quality of the work was excellent, accomplished in a very reasonable amount of time and he was here when he said he would be. Will definitely contact him with additional repairs.

Recent Review: Jeff did quality work installing the cupboards/capentry, built in applicances and countertops. He was prompt, set up his own work area and cleaned up after himself 100% every day he came.  I found Jeff to be very polite and customer service oriented. My only disappointment was when I discovered the quote given by Northern was for off-site made cupboards and not for custom made built on site that were there prior to this upgrade. Be sure to specify what you really expect.  If you had cupboards built on site, I would get that exact replacement rather than premade off-site cupboards. The material is also not as high quality as the original wood but it is pretty nice.  I lost quite a bit of space due to fillers and the overall design which was done by McDaniels. The cupboards are beautiful but more light weight than desired and get scratched on the inside easily.   Another guy on the Northern team did the caulking around the back splash boards.  I chose WilsonArt HD laminate counter top which is still beautiful!   It was not a regular caulk, but a rope type that was pushed into the joints. Do not allow that!!  It shrunk about 60% and water is now getting in and warping the board.  I have to get it fixed fast here before there is more damage.  That was not Jeff's doings, however. Also, from the time the project started until the end, I think I must have shrunk a little since the cupboards are so high/tall that I cannot reach the top shelves.  Jeff is a tall guy.

Recent Review: My parents (age 82 and 90) had wanted to update their 50 year old kitchen for years but the task seemed overwhelming. Our primary concern was finding a contractor who was trustworthy, ethical, and easy to work with. After researching Angie?s list we were very lucky to find Brad Greene. From the initial consultation through the entire project Brad was extremely helpful, upfront, and professional. His workmanship, and his countertop subcontractor?s, was exceptional. They are both perfectionists, which was evident throughout the process, and the final outcome is beautiful. We could not have hoped for anything better. We highly recommend Brad for any project you have in mind.

Recent Review: It was difficult to not have a kitchen for three weeks and no running water on the first floor. However, Mike moved my old refrigerator into the dining room and I also had an old microwave and a toaster oven, so all in all, I survived.  I do plan to have other rooms in the house drywalled and old floors removed and replaced with carpeting. I will call upon EB Handyman once again for an estimate and hope we can work together  again.

Recent Review: It took 3-4 months to get it done. They installed the wrong sink. I was supposed to get a 6" depth sink but they put in a 8". There were etching marks all over the counter tops. So bad that all 4 pieces had to be replaced.

Recent Review: We had hoped they could start the project while we were away for two weeks, but getting the permits, equipment, and supplies, as well as lining up the subcontractors to do the work didn't allow that to happen.  The project started the day after we got back. We didn't have a sink, stove, microwave, or dishwasher for two months.  However, they did install the new refrigerator within five days.  Be prepared with a backup plan--where you're going to do dishes, how you're going to cook or make coffee, etc.    The individuals doing the work showed up when scheduled--within two days.  The men putting in the gas line were initially scheduled to install the line on an extremely cold day, so that was put off for two days, but they did come and install the new line for the stove and it didn't disrupt the rest of the schedule. The people who came here to work were wonderful!  They were respectful and helpful and considerate.  They were absolutely top notch professionals.  They knew their jobs well.  The qualify of the work is outstanding! The project foreman kept us informed of what was happening when throughout the project.  We also had a printout so we knew who was coming when to do what.  We kept this on the island counter so other workers would know what was happening when.  The project foreman also called us frequently with information, and he was very prompt at returning calls. The project lasted a few days longer than projected because some cabinet doors and drawer fronts came back the wrong size or the wrong edge.  When the correct order came in, they came out promptly to put those on.  This was the last thing that had to be done.  I'd already reorganized the cabinets and drawers, so not having two doors wasn't critical to me.  I was able to use the kitchen while waiting for the doors, and the "old" drawer fronts were on the drawers, so that wasn't a problem. I highly recommend McDaniel's if you're remodeling your kitchen.  They listen to what you want and make appropriate recommendations.  They do the job right!

From the beginning, Troy was very easy to work with, conscientious, and efficient. The initial estimate (which was a very long document because of the numerous issues initially found by the buyer's inspector) arrived in a very short period of time. Once the negotiation was settled and we knew what work needed to be completed, Troy made arrangements with the necessary staff and sub-contractors. The work was completed quickly, efficiently, cleanly, and was very well done. I was especially impressed with the clean-up. There was no "outside evidence" that work had taken place; everything was left very clean. They took care of disposing of the old microwave - which was very convenient. The new stairs were well-built and sturdy. We were very pleased with the work done by E.B. Handyman and would highly recommend them. We are moving out of state and will be unable to use them for future services, but would recommend them to others.

Very well! Ron has been very helpful and open to my design suggestions. His feedback and ideas have been right on. He has done everything as agreed. I have had little to no budget for this renovation to a previously repossessed home. He has been willing to work with me to purchase as many of the materials as possible from Habitat for Humanity. For example, 98% of the backsplash and 80% of the kitchen island top came from Habitat. We designed these features together. All jobs are beautifully done. He has taught me what is involved and I have participated in all projects, which was part of our original agreement. He is a gifted and very creative artisan. I highly recommend Ron and his work. He has proved indispensible to me in the beautification, function and renovation of my home:)

Mr. Greene never came out to my house but instead gave me a quote via email after receiving the kitchen remodel design (via email) from Home Depot where I purchased the majority of the materials needed. I felt that his quote was outrageously high, and my conclusion for this was because he really wasn't interest in doing my project.  He might have lowered his prices because of his statement to "Please let me know what you think of these prices and if they are what you had in mind spending." At the time I had nothing to compare it with, but once I received a second quotation, I knew he was out of any further consideration.
