Overall, I pretty happy with the work that they did. It took about three days for them to do the work, but they weren't full days. Manuel (owner) is very friendly.

ABLUE RIBBON INTERIORS
We had several recommendations for Greg Bullock. He specializes in interior painting, although does other sorts of work as well. We got estimates from two other contractors. We would have used more, but wanted to get the project moving. Because Greg came in with an estimate that was a little less than half what the other quotes were, he was available to do the project soon, and we already had several great references, we decided he was the person for the job. He was punctual, professional, and did meticulous work. We could not be more pleased and will definitely call him again if we need help with interior painting.

DBlue Sky Painting
I hired Blue Sky for a large project that included plaster work and ceiling painting in a great room two bedrooms, ceiling and walls, three halls and two stairwells and one storage room. Because the home is occupied I specified with Dave that the work would need to go room by room as I had no place to put all the furniture. He agreed to this plan. There were two phases. Phase one was the great room plaster repair and ceiling while we were out of the home for a week. When we returned the work was not complete. I withheld partial payment. They returned a month later to begin the second project, leaving my home in disarray for a month. In true industrial fashion Rick, the lead painter, proceeded to plan to paint all the ceilings at once. Then all the closets needed to be emptied to paint on one day. One closet was completed that day and I had to rehang and remove the same items the next day. Dave was of no help, indeed, he told my husband not to "upset' his staff when we tried to limit the number of spaces they painted. The storage closet had bedding and an upholstered chair. Rick agreed to leave that room alone. Then he entered it and began plastering without benefit of covering my chair or bedding. There was no trim work done. They did not respect my piano (water marks from beverages evidenced leaving their drinks on unprotected surface,) my sofa which remained in the great room had plaster chunks under the cushions suggesting it was not draped to protect; a new cherry desk had yellow paint on the legs and white paint on the top suggesting that when painting the ceiling and wall they did not protect this 4 month old desk, new carpeting in one room less than 3 months old has green paint from their drops and paint on carpeting in another room where the desk was also damaged. Drips on slate required using a scraper to remove. We have natural wood trim and they did not keep a good line between the wall and the trim. Some of the trim had paint when they removed the tape. They left the smoke alarm unattached and a cold air vent. They were more interested in meeting a timeline than in doing a decent job. I cannot recommend them. I bid this job between three companies and the price was the same as the others. I was mis-lead by Dave who said he would proceed room by room. Proceed with caution. Additionally, Dave and Rick made an appointment to come out and look at my concerns. They never showed and did not call. The cost in total was $4000.00

ARich & Son's Drywall
We had a great experience! Rich worked around our schedule and came in the evening to do the estimate when it was convenient for us. The price was very fair, about $50 less than the other contractor we called. We scheduled the job for the following week and he was on-time both days. He did a great job with a somewhat tricky plaster repair and even finished up early. He also cleaned up well, the plaster sanding process created a lot of dust and he was courteous enough to tarp off the room he was working in so it didn't get in the rest of our house and vacuum up when he was finished. Based on this experience we're planning on having Rich's company back for some painting in the next couple months.

AHoward's Complete Plastering Service
We visited Cary Howards home and office to see his plastering techniques, and selected one type of finish. I had to remove a soffit over some kitchen cabinets and reconstruct it. We also removed 30 year old wallpaper from the dining room, kitchen and hallway. The Howards taped the new dry wall I had installed and did some repair work where the walpaper removal had damaged the soffits. After I applied the dry wall primer the Howards applied a sealer using rollers. Then they trowel on a greay plaster mixed with sand that dries hard like cement. The next day they use a specialty scraper to remove any ridges in the hardened plaster then trowel on a smooth layer of a different plaster mixture. When that is almost dry they then apply a third plaster mixture with a sponge. When that is almost dry they flatten the sponged on plaster with a wetted smooth metal trowel (no notches) held flat against the ceiling. An additional cost saving step was for us to hang visqueen over all the kitchen cabinets and counter tops. The Howard's tarped the floor. The results are amazing, we are very satisfied.

ARich & Son's Drywall
They were prompt, professional and instead of a lathe and plaster ceiling that was falling in, I have a nicely done drywall ceiling that looks great. I'm very happy with it.

He repaired the walls a few days after we contacted him, but took a little longer than we first thought because the window came in from the manufacturer without the divided panes, but he was very prompt after the window came in.

BPrairie Creek Construction
Started promptly. The finished repairs were good. Final clean up after job completed could have been better.

My home is plaster, and he has repaired this too! He is very easy to work with, and is very fair with pricing. He is very honest. I will certainly call him with any further projects I have.

We called them in to get an estimate on a plaster wall issue. He told us how we could take care of the issue ourselves, let us know the materials and where to buy them and then told us we'd be able to take care of the project way cheaper if we did it on our own. Such a helpful and friendly experience. We'll certainly use them in the future based on this experience.

Recent Review: Elliot was prompt, pleasant and easy to work with. He replaced about a 2.5 ft wide section section of drywall floor to ceiling plus a 4 ft wide horizontal section about 2 ft off the floor. He then had to match the 1950's swirl pattern of the plaster skim coat. I'm very happy with the finished work.
