Recent Review: Just had vinly flooring installed in my new home spa . World of Floors did an incredible job very quickly! Every person that sees it asks or comments how great the floor looks. Highly recommend World of Floors!!!
Recent Review: This was the most professional and courteous team I have ever worked with doing home projects. We had all of the flooring in our home replaced (over 2,000 square feet). The conditions for the crew working at our house were more than inconvenient. During the project, we had appliances and furniture delivered, and a water pipe issue that led to the kitchen being quarantined in plastic with humidifiers and dryers for 3 days. Not once did the gentlemen from Leon's complain. Each day they showed up on time and worked nonstop around all of the chaos at our house until the end of the day, even working through lunch. We have 3 flights of stairs which required them to carry all of the needed flooring and supplies up manually. Each piece of flooring and molding that needed to be cut had to be carried back down to the garage and then, back up the stairs. Our floors are beautiful and we couldn't be happier! By the way, we originally shopped around at Home Depot and Lowes. We quickly learned that buying from one place and scheduling installation with a completely different company can lead to a lot of headaches, delays and very little accountability. The price at Leon's was about the same, if not better than both stores...which led to us reflooring our entire home. I highly recommend Leon's Flooring!

Recent Review: The company was professional, polite and had marvelous results. They were on time and the job they did was great, the floors looked like brand new and they were over 60 years old. They gave wonderful advice on how to keep the floors looking great and worked very clean.
The flooring looks perfect, everything was cleaned up, and the old carpet was removed. The price was reasonable and there were no problems when I decided (at the last second) to change the baseboard. Phil helped me out by picking up the flooring and baseboard (basically everything I could not fit into my car) from the carpet store and Lowe's. I am going to work with him on my kitchen remodeling and other future projects. I highly recommend Phil's Improvement and Refinishing!

FBLOWER & SONS INC
I hired a contractor to remove some wallpaper in my house. This contractor damaged my flooring. The contractor agreed to replace my Pergo floor. The contractor hired Don Blower and Sons to install the new Pergo that was purchased through Lowes. Immediately after installation, I noticed multiple seams in the flooring that were either lifted or sunken. I contacted Don Blower and he told me that he had been having problems recently with laminate flooring and that I may have to wait for 30 days for these seams to settle. He also damaged an oak riser that had to be removed to install the flooring. Some oak wood pieces that had to be removed around a pedestal were also damaged during the removal process of the old floor. Don Blower came out to look at my concerns and agreed there was nothing he could do to fix the issues and blamed the issues on the Pergo flooring. Don Blower said he would get with Lowes. He never did. I had to make multiple requests to get the purchase receipt so I could contact Lowes myself. I contacted Lowes and they contacted Pergo. An independent inspector came out and Pergo denied my claim, stating it was due to the poor installation. The installers did not bring the laminate flooring to my house 48 hours in advance so the flooring could "acclimate" to my house. There was also one wall in which they did not maintain the necessary 3/8 inch clearance needed. Lowes supported me again with Pergo, because the inspector said 75% of the seams were concaved. Pergo then agreed to replace the flooring if Lowes did the install. Lowes installed the same flooring again, with no issues. Both the inspector and Lowes said they never heard of having to wait 30 days for the flooring to settle.

APrestigious Home Services
Our house is jinxed, everything that can go wrong- will go wrong, until Prestigious came to our rescue. After a series of unfortunate events with home depot, we found ourselves stuck with a roomful of Pergo flooring that Home Depot refused to install. We were told by the Home Depot installer that we could never install laminate flooring in our house without shelling out $4-$5K to just level the floors. They decided to tell us this after we paid for measurements, material, delivery and ripped out the existing floor and carpets. Utterly lost and confused, we turned to Prestigious for a second opinion. Ron and Ron Sr took one look at our floors and thought we are crazy for even considering to spend that kind of money on laminate flooring. They gave us tips on how to level the floors ourselves and told us how we could do the whole installation ourselves if we wanted to. My husband and I not knowing the difference between a nail and a screw asked Prestigious if they could give us a helping hand with our DIY installation ( yes, we are a needy bunch!). Being the Holiday season and literally 24 hours notice- Ron could not get the resources to help us out, but guess who he sends instead, his dad! With decades of experience Ron Sr. actually showed up to our house like he was helping out family . Though all we asked was for a helping hand, Ron took over the entire project like it was his own home while my husband and I watched, helping very little! Our mess of a house finally became a home and I will always be grateful for Ron for that!! I doubt you will ever find a contractor with so much integrity and dedication to their craft anywhere in the Detroit Metro . If you want more than just a contractor - call Prestigious!!

ASun Glo Restorations
Overall it went well. There were a few minor issues along the way, but they were satisfactorily resolved. The room now looks again much like it did before the leak occurred. The flooring was originally a commercial grade of Pergo which ultimately was replaced with a similar looking Mirage engineered wood product. The original Pergo product (or comparable laminate product ) was no longer available. It was surprising to me the amount of damage a concealed leak from a dishwasher could cause in just one night. Once the leak got under the original laminate flooring it wicked several feet in every direction from under the cabinet that housed the dishwasher. Since the entire room had the same flooring, it was necessary to replace the entire floor. Financially not only was there the cost of replacing the dishwasher and the insurance deductible, but there was also the impact on our daily life of having furniture and appliances temporarily placed in other rooms. For about a week of time we had no use of the kitchen in any way. After this happened to me I have heard from several others about comparable events caused by leaks from dishwashers or refrigerator ice makers or their connections.

AWILLIAM ELLIS CO
October of 2012, we found our kitchen and crawl space flooded with water that was leaking from a pipe. Had another company come out and dry out the crawl and kitchen, plus spray for mold Then the insurance adjuster came out and assessed damage We asked and he recommended William Ellis Called right away and immediately became connected to Maggie with William Ellis She came over the next day and walked us through what they would do to fix this mess We signed with them and within 2 days we had Nancy at our house designing a new kitchen We were involved in the process of picking out the new cabinets, flooring, sink, granite countertop, etc Maggie worked with us day and night to provide us service every step of the way She provided a work schedule and told us when each person would be at our house Every person we dealt with was professional: drywall, cabinets, plumber, electrician, handyman, painter We had many different people in and out of our house over 6 months. Each was friendly and got the job done William Ellis also dealt directly with State Farm insurance and helped us with the paperwork trail In the end, we had a whole new kitchen. The flood was a blessing in disguise! Total cost for all was $23,000, with insurance covering a good portion

AYour Choice Home Improvement
I am so impressed how quickly George got my old flooring removed and installed the new flooring. He removed all the flooring and installed laminate plank flooring in my entire condo. This also includes removing the tiles in 2 bath room floors and gluing the new flooring in the main bathroom. I am also impressed with the quality of his work and all the attention to detail.

ACherry Building Co
We did a complete kitchen remodel with the exception that most kitchen appliances were not replaced. Scott Purdom of Cherry Building was excellent, and my wife and I were very comfortable discussing design ideas with him. Scott was very professional and helped us with some of the decisions about the design. After a few weeks of discussing the layout, visiting various stores to look at materials and cabinets, a contract was completed. The existing kitchen cabinets were removed and new upgraded ones were installed. Two layers of existing vinyl flooring and underlayment were removed. Scott also removed the existing kitchen wallpaper. A Pergo wood laminate floor was installed that began a the front entry, extended down the hall to the kitchen and throughout the eat-in kitchen. Formica counter tops were replaced with Corian composite countertops including a Corian sink. The kitchen layout was changed slightly, the dishwasher was moved to the outside wall next to the sink from a peninsula location. The kitchen stove was shifted about 10 inches from the corner to make room for a lazy susan. There was soffit in the kitchen where there was no cabinets so that was removed and the ceiling drywalled. New soffit was installed where the new cabinets extended along the wall. Much of the drywall at the countertop level was removed to install new wiring. New GFI outlets, switches with dimmers and under cabinet lighting was installed. Scott primed and painted the entire kitchen after the dry wall was complete. After the new countertops were installed, Scott installed tile with strips of accent tiles. New kitchen lighting fixtures were installed. New pipes, drains, shutoff valves, a new kitchen faucet and new garbage disposal were installed. A new microwave was installed above the stove to allow more free countertop space. A new toilet and Allure floor was installed in the powder room. Scott Purdom did an excellent job. The kitchen rehab took a little longer than quoted, partly because there were a couple unexpected problems along the way and there was a delay with the electrical contractor. Scott is very detailed and does the work the way you would do it for yourself. Scott also has a helper that assisted him part of the time, and an electrical contractor, but he does much of the work himself. We were very pleased and would definitely hire him again.
