Recent Review: They didn’t charge. They were great. Use them. Communication was good. The above and beyond was that they didn’t charge. We were quite shocked by that. It was great. You know he just gave recommendations if we needed further water treatment to call them and they’d be glad to put a system in. And you know we probably would because the way this experience was.

Recent Review: The install was excellent.  Everyone was very professional and they took great care with my home.  They cleaned up after themselves and ensured that I knew how everything operated when they were finished.  I would highly recommend Owens Soft Water to anyone in the market for water treatment in Michigan.

FWolverine Water Treatment Systems, Inc
After giving the system about 2 months to gage the effectiveness of the system it became clear that there was no improvement in the smell of the water. Since this was the second attempt at fixing the problem with 2 different companies, I decided take have the Wolverine equipment removed and was determined to find a reputable company with proven results finally fix the problem.  The first company I used had quickly agreed to take their equipment back, with apologies, at a reduced price. The experience was quite different with Wolverine. When I called I was turned over to a Manager by the name of Don Wheaton. When Mr. Wheaton learned that I wanted to return equipment he immediately refused without asking me what problems I had been having. He simply said "we don't take equipment back". When I told him that his equipment had only been used 2 months he said "I don't care, you had 3 days to get a return and that time is over". Mr. Wheaton then asked if I had contacted them about the problem before I removed the equipment and I said "yes", he basically told me that I was lying. Finally, when I asked him if this was the standard level of customer service I should expect?, he hung up on me. I admit that about a year had went by between the time I informed them that I was removing the equipment and the time I asked them if a partial refund, but the kind of response I received was extremely unprofessional.  In summary, I felt like the salesperson was probably under educated about equipment. In hind site I would say his level of training ended at being able to test water with his portable test kit. As for Service after-the-sale, I think the response I received from their Manager speaks for itself. I can understand problems occur and results may be something than what is expected but how those things are dealt with set good companies for poor ones. Clearly, Wolverine failed and I would never use them again.
