Bartholomew's pricing was somewhat reasonable and they knew quite a bit. The price may have been a little bit high.

BALL ABOUT HEATING & COOLING
Everything went well.  Seemed to know the brand furnace we had.  Actual cost of first service call was $80 (reasonable). Answered all my questions. Furnace has not failed since.

ABartholomew Heating & Cooling Inc
I got estimates from 4 HVAC companies before choosing Bartholomew. The base prices seemed very similar, with all four, but Bartholomew was able to give me a better/longer warranty and appeared more knowledgeable about what and where things should go.  They were also very quick to respond to my inquiry, and seemed genuinely interested in providing me with what I wanted and needed.  I was impressed with the professionalism and consideration of every person in this company that I made contact with either by phone or in person.   Two installers put in the unit, did it in one and a half work days.  They made sure I knew how to use the units and the thermostat. All  areas were left clean and neat each day.  After the final installation I was shown how to use things.  Both installers were easy to ask questions of and helped explain anything I was concerned about.   The electrician was brought in to do all the electrical work from Webster's.  He is an asset to his company, also.  Very efficient and knowledgeable.  Even though I have an unfinished basement, the installers, and the electrician,  treated it like it was just as nice as a finished one.   I highly recommend Bartholomew.

ACTI Mechanical Contractors Inc
Excellent. Arrived early, but secretary called ahead to check if OK. Work took 1 hour and 10 minutes. Technician put on bootees over shoes whenever he came inside and took them off while outside. Technician friendly and accommadating Would continue to use and have for four years. Left area clean and neat

AThe Furnace Guy Inc
The Furnace Guy came out the day we bought our house, because the furnace would run for about 20 minutes and stop. He figured it out after a couple of hours and some trial and error. He left, thinking it was working, and we had to call him back because it stopped working again about an hour later. He came back, "stopped the clock" to just figure out how it was configured (which we appreciated!) and then fixed it ($239). We had to have some follow-up work done later that wasn't critical to getting the furnace to operate that day (humidifer), which we scheduled later with The Furnace Guy ($195). They arrived on time, go the work done effectively, and took the time to explain to my husband how to maintain the new humidifier system.

ANORTHWEST HEATING & AIR
This furnace and humidifier replacement project was an excellent project. Very professional, knowledgable and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We got other pricing from another company but were extremely impressed with the pricing, professionalism and follow through on this project. We did not get that feeling with the other company who we had contacted. We are having them back in the spring to look at our AC. They also installed our gas fireplace insert and that again was an EXCELLENT job.

AAll Pro Services
I forgot the cost - but they were very professional, timely, and efficient.  He left furnace filters, vs. installing them since the current filters were not that dirty, and took care of the humidifiers.  I will use them for my air conditioners in the spring.

AElite Heating & Cooling
I learned of Elite through a friend of mine who has used their services before. I called and talked to Tom, and I asked him a few questions about humidifiers because I'd heard positive and negative things about having them (someone told me they cause mold, which was not true), and since I have a little girl at home with eczema, and we were running a humidifier in her room, I thought it would be a good idea. Tom asked me about the equipment I had currently, and said it would be no problem to install a unit (house was built in 2002). We made an appointment to schedule the work, and he showed up right when he said he would. It was kind of wet and rainy outside, and every time he made a trip to his vehicle for another tool or something, he took his shoes off and left them by the door so he wouldn't leave tracks all over the carpet. He had the whole job done in a little over an hour and a half. He was very neat, cleaned up after himself, and then showed me how to use it, how to set it, and when it should be turned on/off, and when the filter should be changed. While he was there, he also did a quick tune-up of my furnace (which I hadn't done in about 3 years), which made me eligible for a rebate through consumers. I think it was $50 or so. Since the unit has been installed, I have had no problems with the eczema, and I've also noticed I don't get shocked when I touch a doorknob in my house! That ALONE was worth the money :) I'd have no problem recommending Elite to anyone; in fact, I recommended them to one of my customers (I'm a roofing contractor) when they had a leak on their condensation pump on their furnace, and he got her fixed up the next day! I also called Tom when I had a problem with my NEST thermostat, and he knew exactly what the problem was over the phone, and I got it fixed in about 10 minutes (over the phone!) and it was no charge. Best in town.

APANICCIA HEATING & COOLING
Mark showed up as agreed, on-time and complete the job under the estimated time. Cleaned up the work area and left after he made sure we knew how to run and maintain the system. Just EXACTLY what we wanted and expected. We will use them for all HVAC needs.

Recent Review: They arrived when they said they would, removed and installed all the equipment, completely cleaned up the area and answered all my questions.  They even took the time to help me with some duct worked which they did not need to to do. My neighbors recommended them so I felt confident that they would do a good job at a fair price.
