AQuality Concrete & Masonry LLC
We were very pleased with the work. They listened to our concerns and addressed them in a very professional way. The whole project took only 3-1/2 days. The crew came early in the morning and removed all old asphalt and cement walkways in less than 1 day. They returned the next morning snd worked on the drains to work more efficiently. They also did more than half of the concrete work. On the third day they completed the concrete. On the 4 th day, they replaced the soil along the concrete sidewalk and driveway. They made the final touches in the driveway and cleaned up thoroughly. The team works well together and responded to all requests and questions. We recommend them whole heartedly!

BLA ROMA CONCRETE
We picked LaRoma concrete from the phone book based mostly on years in business. (Before we joined A. L.) Our drive is quite wide, and we live on a main road. Another potential problem was that there is only about 3 inchs of grade away from the house to work with. Overall, they did an excellent job, excavating and setting forms and reinforcement  one day and pouring complete the next. The only negative was that I was didn't care for the sealer they recommended. I have done enough concrete work to appreciate such details as all limestone arrogates (no sandstone spalls). You use concrete for durability, so I waited 2 years to write this. Our drive still looks very good.   i i spalls)

AMorgans Concrete
Showed up on time and quickly got to work. Concrete was poured very neatly. They were careful not to damage the lawn. They cleaned up pretty well and provided all the info needed to maintain the new concrete.

AAnthony's Construction Concrete & Masonry Inc
Victor of Anthony's Construction came over to view the job the day after my request, and provided a very detailed estimate including a 5-year warranty on the work done.  I signed his contract and the job started--actually the day before it was scheduled--and the men worked long, hard days to complete the work.  My only complaint was due to the Thanksgiving holiday; I knew that the work would be completed by Wednesday but I shouldn't use the steps or walkways until Friday and that was acceptable to me, but on Friday nobody showed up to do the clean-up, remove the framing, or replace one of the railings.  When I called, it was because they were given the day off and nobody remembered to call me. Other than that, they did a great job, including clean-up of the job site.  I'm very pleased and although I don't have any other concrete areas that might require their work, I will recommend them to the townhouse association which is planning a sidewalk replacement in the near future.

We contracted with Dan at the end of September 2013 to perform repairs to our seawall. Our lake fluctuates in height significantly during the year and we wanted the repairs done in the fall because the lake was low. In fact, in October of that year, the seawall was exposed all the way down and it would have been a perfect time to repair cracks that were in the seawall. Due to scheduling conflicts, Dan wasn't able to get us in in October and it got too cold in November to pour new concrete. Dan and I agreed that the work would have to wait until the spring.  The problem with waiting is that the lake level went up a lot and the bottom foot of the seawall was now covered with water.  Because I wanted the lower damage to the wall to be repaired, Dan had to modify his estimate to include building an abatement wall and applying an epoxy coating to the wall to fix the cracks. The water abatement wall was not in Dan's wheelhouse and ended up not working at all, so we weren't able to get the lower cracks fixed. Dan poured us a very nice cap to the seawall and widened it so that it could be walked on. He also created a notch for our pier to be mounted in. He was able to fix a couple of heavily damaged spots above the water line and one significant crack in the seawall. The problem is with the cracks that he wasn't able to fix. Those cracks propagated up into the new cap almost immediately which is unfortunate. Overall, Dan has extremely good pricing and his flatwork looks excellent. I'm disappointed that the repairs didn't take place when the water level was low enough because it diminishes what would be an otherwise beautiful job. The quality mark is really a B+ or an A-, but Angie's List doesn't allow those. We have patio and driveway work that we will definitely have Dan do when the time comes, so this overall B review isn't really as negative as it might seem. I think dealing with the water was probably too much for Dan, but everything else is fine. I would recommend Molnar Construction for your concrete work.

My only complaint was that the cement-truck driver drove up on my lawn (street maybe 5 feet lower than porch); needless to say, there were deep ruts in 8 places. I'm not sure if that was a big surprise to Olsson, as te brought me a peace plant, and (see over).

CNEXT GENERATION CONCRETE
.  I contact them to come out and excavate and pour walls and footings for a garage/loft addition.  Before the project started he was easy to get ahold of and responsive.  The job was not completed correctly.  They did not leave openings for 2 entry ways to the garage.  Since this is fixed by a concrete cutting, I got ahold of him immediately and asked if he would come out and make the openings so that we could continue with the next stage.  He didn't return my husbands phone calls, ignored a few texts of mine. Finally responded to one text, apologized and said he would be out to fix it in 2 Fridays.  He didn't show up or call.  I phoned him again and asked if he would please schedule a time to come correct this.  No answer.  I have followed up with an email, No response.  My only thought is that he has no intention of making this right.  Additionally, there was a 12 x 12 shed that was attached to the foundation and he poured that in the wrong dimensions.  I will have to pay close to 400.00 for someone else to come out and correct the openings, and can do nothing regarding the measurement error.  UGH!   I did not want to write a poor review, but feel that he left me no options.  I would be more than happy to update this if he shows up and cuts out the openings for the two entry ways that were missed.

FTRIPLE D CONCRETE
After they poured the concrete, it started to crack after a few months.  I called them to tell them about the cracks in the patio. I asked if he had a guarantee for the patio cracking and they told me no.
