Recent Review: They were very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. I also used them for several other odd jobs like gutter cleaning and toilet repair and installation of a microwave. I was very happy with their work and referred them to my friends. I would not hesitate to use them for future projects.

They was terrible. I purchased a handyman Big Deal for 2 hours of work. I haven't used Angie's List since then. If smoked in my garage without asking. He cut something short and he gouged my cupboard when he put the microwave in. He was listed as an A provider. I had a list but I don't think he finished anything but installing the microwave. He looked at stuff on the list and said he couldn't fix it at this time and could come back at a later time. I had sent him an email stating that he might not be able to do everything in the amount of time but never got a response back. I could of had someone else install the microwave for what the cost of the big deal was. He put up some trim and cut one piece to short and the other piece he must have used saw at the spot and gouged my drywall. I would not recommend him.

We had used Tim for two jobs previously. He was originally recommended by the appliance store we used. I called Tim just before he left on vacation. We scheduled the work for the day after he returned, and it was performed on schedule.

CLINDEN KITCHEN & BATH
Not even close to what was presented to us! No meetings or follow up or written documentation from the company regarding project timing or schedules. No written start dates or project end date! They would not provide this information! Their employees flooded our condo the first day! Good thing the remodel was a total redo! Flooded areas: the kitchen, and in the finished basement; the mechanical room, a finished full bath room, and a finished bedroom! total of 700-900 sq ft! Their employees, cut the water lines in the kitchen, and never shut off off the main water valve and completely in the kitchen! This employee mistake...resulted in an immediate delay, of two weeks work. We were not able to complete the restoration the downstairs bedroom and full bath, for several months! Several areas of very poor workmanship, never was properly installed and still not correct. Examples: the brand new pocket door has a 3/8" gap at the top to the door frame, when closed! The brand new custom kitchen cabinet for the microwave was too small, had to be filed and the screws taken out of the microwave metal shell to fit into the cabinet! We had to fight with the owner, to change the location of a big seam in the crown molding trim, that was put right above the kitchen sink, where a ceiling light shines directly on it! The owner, consistently conveyed a high lack of consideration and disregard for us, the customer, and was rarely on site, as promised; 3 times in 17 weeks of project time. Additionally the owner, Did Not Attend her own reviews or meetings...as Promised. Even though we made numerous requests, We never got a written project start / completion date, or a project timeline, or a progress report. We never got the proper support, as promised and expected for such a high cost, high end job!! We were forced to get our own contractor to install the kitchen back-splash, to repair and re-finish the floors! In spite of Linden Kitchen & Bath...our custom kitchen did turn out OK in the end. Would not recommend them, as there are better kitchen companies available in this area!

ACREATIVE KITCHENS & BATHS BOUTIQUES INC
Creative Kitchens remodeled my kitchen, removed the soffit, cut back one wall and eliminated a closet. Shawn Wakeman was my project's superviser/worker, and John was there working on a daily basis. Shawn ordered my cabinets and designed the kitchen based on my feedback and with many helpful questions and suggestions during the design phase. I have new cabinets in place of the old ones and the upper cabinets go to the ceiling, I have a new island where I previously kept a "working" table that served as preparation space, buffet table and catch-all. I have a new buffet, 30-inches deep, built into the old closet area. They raised my return air vents up from floor level (where they'd been for 39 years). They moved my heat/cooling vent in the basement to accommodate the remodel and installed a duct vent damper so that I have control of the air flow for the first time in 18 years. They installed new drywall in my eating area, where we removed the original real wood wainscot. They jacked up my wall in the old closet to level things out before installing the buffet. They installed my beautiful tile floor and installed beautiful wood baseboard where we had previously had vinyl baseboard. They ordered and installed new GE appliances: Refrigerator, gas range, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, disposal. They ran duct work to vent the built-in microwave in my previously unvented kitchen. They installed new outlets and switches in the buffet - no new circuits required because my closet had been "prewired for a washer and dryer" in 1969. They installed undercabinet lighting and new lights over the sink. I kept my other three existing kitchen fixtures and chandeliers. Shawn's expertise was invaluable. Because of his expertise with all the planning and his suggestions during the design, we did not exceed the estimate. There were additional bills for the drywall and the appliances, but we knew those would be negotiated apart from the main remodel, and nothing was a surprise to us. We had one big issue that was resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction. The wrong Corian countertop color was ordered. Although Shawn took responsibility for the mistake, I blame DuPont. The color name we picked was Sahara, but Savanna was ordered. I think the names were too similar. Shawn gave us the option of keeping the Savanna with a refund of some of the cost, or of getting the Sahara. We chose the Saraha, and Creative Kitchens was prompt and efficient in getting the new counters in. The results are more than I could have hoped for. The kitchen looks fantastic, even unpainted (we're doing the painting and we're still priming). To me, the mettle of the firms I deal with is shown not just when things go right, but also by how they handle mistakes. Shawn and Creative Kitchens came through with flying colors. I will not hesitate to use them again when I get to my bathroom remodeling.
