Recent Review: Neil was extraordinary. His response to my inquiry was prompt, and he arrived on time to provide an estimate. His work was impressive and professional. He demonstrated an admirable work ethic and a very high standard of performance, making certain that the work was thorough and exact. Our old and dated wood finish cabinets were transformed into contemporary, beautifully painted ones that look new. We could not be more pleased. There are simply not enough superlatives to describe Neil's work. I absolutely recommend him if you want your painting projects to be carried out in a professional manner with excellent outcomes. We will contact Neil again for future painting needs.

Recent Review: I was very impressed by their services. Their prices were very fair, they were a pleasure to have around, they did an extremely neat job, and I was delighted with the results. The next time I have to paint my home, either inside our out, I will definitely use them. They were flexible about their workspace, and were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout the duration of their project. They also had good aesthetic insights, which can be hard to find in a house painter. Highly recommend!

Recent Review: I could not be more pleased with our newly painted kitchen cabinets.  We would highly recommend Ed's work for the following reasons.  First, the finished product is amazing.  It looks like we have a brand new kitchen with high-end dark wood cabinets.  Ed took our standard oak cabinets and made them something special.  He painted a brown-black color over our existing oak cabinets (we picked the color, with input from Ed, from a batch of different black colors).  He took the cabinet doors back to his shop and painted the cabinet frames in our house.  We've had the kitchen a few months now and the paint is holding up great, even in places where I've accidentally dinged the cabinet by pulling something out too fast.  Everyone who has seen the cabinets compliments us, and one person thought we had bought new cabinets and didn't realize that it was paint over the old ones.     Second, Ed was great to work with.  He promptly returned calls, showed up on time, and let us know when he had to reschedule work on one day.   He and his assistant were friendly and pleasant.  They left their work area clean and gave us clear instructions on when the paint would be dry, etc.  I felt comfortable having him in my home.  I know he doesn't often work in Scarborough, so I'm glad he was willing to come down to help us out with our kitchen.  Third, Ed's price was reasonable.  I did not get competing quotes because the price seemed like a good value for what we were getting and we wanted to work with Ed after seeing pictures of his previous work and meeting him in person.  After seeing the finished work product I can definitely say that we got a good value considering the quality of the finished work and the easy process of working with Ed.  As I mentioned above, the painted cabinets had a dramatic impact and made the kitchen feel brand new.

Recent Review: Bill came when scheduled and gave us an accurate estimate for the job. He is professional, pays attention to detail. Started the job at the time scheduled, and was here every day on time until job was finished, no jumping from job to job. Worked with another man, and both were very professional, very pleasant, and did great work. Cleaned up after themselves every day, and took extra care to cover the areas he was working in, and avoided the dust from sanding the drywall spreading throughout the house. Bill does great work, makes sure that we were happy with every step along the way. Took all the debris from the job to the dump at the end of the job. I highly recommend Bill for any job you have around the home, and he will be my "handyman" for all future projects. For the amount of time he spent here, having to come back after letting his work dry and then sanding before the next layer, I think it was a bargin. We are very pleased with the finished results and the entire experience. I highly recommend this company.

Matt was punctual, seemed very knowledgeable and professional.  Indicated he would send colors/prices in a couple of days.  Did not hear back from him.  If too busy that should be communicated, as I would have hired him.

Jason was a real pleasure to work with. He was very helpful in the weeks leading up to my appointment when I was peeling off the old wallpaper in preparation for painting. He communicates very well. Jason and his assistant arrived on time, and completed the work by the end of the day. I was very happy when I came home to my newly painted kitchen! It looks great! Highly recommended.

At first things were going well, Phil and another person arrived as promised and started work on painting the first room.  The quality of the paint job ended up average but it took approx $1000 of labor to paint the 20x30 room, far far too high.  The room has odd design and tight spots but I've painted it in less time by myself in the past. Once he moved on to the kitchen things were again looking good, it was messy but he seemed to know what he was doing and we felt the quality was good originally.  We started to see a pattern however it was only Phil who was coming to do the work, his team was not available or he didn't want to include/pay them thus a 1 month job turned into 3.  When your talking about a kitchen and a messy (sanding) job this is a nightmare not to mention we have a 2 and 3 year old and were were told on multiple occasions to try to keep them quiet so he could work!  Upon getting the paint process he had thought we may like a different paint service (Spray) that an associate of his offers, we agreed and the doors were sent out for paint with promises of 1 week. Needless to say the deadlines were not met and the quality on some of the doors was sub standard upon return and we had to send them back. As we got close to our required last chance day for everything to be working (we were hosting a birthday party) the sink was installed along with the new counter tops but the plumbing was needing to be installed.  I asked Phil if we should retain a plumber for this purpose but he told me that was not necessary as he could do it quickly.  A full day later and roughly 4 trips to the hardware store we had a working sink, needless to say a plumber would have been cheaper and Phil could have worked on other items that still needed attention.  During the renovation a cardboard flooring was put in to protect our floors, upon removal they pulled up stain with the tape, Phil offered to one off stain the lines this left but we declined thinking it would lead to more issues of color mismatch.  Never were we offered a full fix of the issue and to this date we have lines on the floor where the tap was removed. The work was finally finished and the kitchen looked great.  Now less than 1 year after the work started and 9 months after it was finished it's all falling apart.  Cabinet doors that were worked on are cracking and paint is separating on the cabinets.  I've reached out to Phil twice on this topic without response, apparently I'm left to deal with the mess of a renovated kitchen one year later.
