Silver Spring Microwave Installation

I love using this company. I used their website to make a request on Monday night, and on Tuesday morning, they called me at 9:15am, and I had a handyman at my house by 10:45am. This company is very responsive and very customer service oriented. Their prices are market competitive. The handyman, Dave, was very nice and respectful of my home. He estimated it to be a 2 hour job, and he was done in about 1 hour. Dave clearly explained his plans to complete the job and worked hard.

This is easy----simply put, it is the best experience that I have had with contracted work on the house--hands down!  Mike is on time, on budget and his work is exceptional.  He takes the time to do things right-----even those things that are normally never seen or even noticed.   You can tell he is proud of his work!  Great experience and I will have him back anytime something needs work!  Strongly recommend.!!!!!

I had a microwave oven installed for $150, I had some plumbing repair and valves replaced for $500. I used them twice. 

The experience with the first handyman sent over was beyond horrible. In addition to his rude behavior, he completely botched the job and we had crooked tiles whose cement had not dried till a week later. I will give credit to handyman connection for being responsiveness when I told them about the problem; they rescheduled (albeit for 1 week later) and the new handyman was very good and installed the tiles correctly. He actually pointed out that the first guy had used the wrong material (he had used what was supposed to be used for tile installation on walls, not floors). Points off because of the immense inconvenience caused; the additional days off I had to take to make sure the job was done right the second time around. I am now unsure whether I would trust this company again as it is hard to understand how/why they sent over the first handyman who was obviously not good, not experienced, and not very trustworthy. They did not cash the payment check till the job was correctly done the 2nd time around, and this was appreciated.

He was excellent.  He arrived on time and did everything he was suppose to do.  He didn't spend the full 2 hours so he came back and did some more things to compensate.

Omar showed up right on time was very polite and extremely professional.  Had all the tools and supplies he needed to do the work.  Worked the entire time  - the microwave installation was tricky as the opening was larger than the microwave requiring some detailed caulking.   The job was done very well.   The cabinet doors and closet door he adjusted had been a problem getting them adjusted correctly for a long time and he did it perfectly.  Omar also discovered and pointed out, much to my dismay, that my kitchen cabinet was coming off the wall!  So glad to have him find this out before disaster!   I will use them to fix this!!

Excellent work...........Microwave job was more complicated than anticipated but Red did a great job.  Some confusion with the pricing and paperwork with Angie's Big Deal (work was performed simultaneously with a Plumbing Big Deal job) but we were very pleased with the results.

The electrician Vic was very helpful in helping me to understand lightbulbs and my electrical needs. He was professional and knowledgeable.

Peyton Baugher (painter) was excellent in painting, paying attention to detail and checking to make sure I was satisfied with the work.

I sent in a request via e-mail to be contacted and was immediately responded to within 4 hours.  Liz worked with my schedule and had a technician come out.  Michael, the technician, was very friendly and courteous.  I had actually only expected to be given an estimate, but Michael said that he was available if we wanted him to start, so we agreed.   Like many of you, I had a pretty good list of things I needed done.  Fix a recessed light that hadn't worked for years, install a microwave, upgrade plugs.  But the real challenge was to install a cell phone repeater on our house.  Where we live we barely receive one or two bars on any given day.  The challenge was to install it on the roof, weave it threw the attic, and then install the receiver in an out of the way location in the kitchen.   Michael did all of these projects beautifully (how he installed the microwave without any help is amazing), but his ingenuity in how he approached and successfully installed the cell phone repeater was a real plus.  There was a real possibility that we would have had multiples holes and exposed wires throughout the house, but Michael really thought it out well and it is barely noticeable, including the receiver that is attached to the ceiling (close to a wall) in my kitch.   I am very happy with their service and will definitely be calling on them again.
