I have nothing but good things to say about Daryl and Wooten Appliance. I had an oven short out on me earlier this summer during a power outage, and the company that Whirlpool originally hooked me up with to attempt a repair was disappointing to say the least. Enter Wooten Appliance. I found them originally on Angie's List when I realized that I'd need to hire someone to install the new unit. Daryl has been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The job isn't even finished (unfortunately it's more involved than anticipated by any of us, and he needs to be back next week to re-route the gas line to get the oven properly installed) and I'm writing this review. I will use Wooten for any appliance related needs in the future. They've got a customer for life.

Because a previous repairman had apparently inadvertently removed the wiring diagram from inside the oven, a few more diagnostics were required and the manufacturer had to be contacted. That required a bit more time and a total of 3 visits to our house. Darrell was efficient, competent, did what he said he would do when he said he would do it, and was pleasant throughout. I recommend him without hesitation.

Company picked up new appliances at Sears and delivered to my home.Work then commenced on dismantling old wall oven. The kitchen cabinet base then had to be cut(including to counter top) to install the new kitchen range. New gas line had to be installed and a new water line for the new refrigerator. A new wall closet was built where the old wall oven was..All done in ONE day. GREAT JOB!!

I called Wooten because we were selling my grandmother's house and the wall oven did not work. We were on a short time frame because we were settling on the house soon, so Daryl met us there at 7:30 pm. on a Friday night to look at the oven, After he looked at it he determined that it needed a new board and said he would check the price and email me on Monday with the price. He was prompt on Monday with the price, he also told me that because the price of a new board was high, I had the option of sending the old board out for repair, but because of the time thing, we chose to replace it. When the part came in, Daryl emailed me and told me to call his office to schedule the install. When I called the secretary told me that he was booked solid but he knew that we needed it done so he fit us in. He came out again in the evening and replaced the board, but first he tried replacing a transformer, because that would have been alot less expensive, but that didn't fix it. It turned out that it needed both the board and the transformer and because of Daryl's knowledge he brought both parts with him and fixed the over. We were very pleased with his service and would use him again and refer him to our friends.

ARELIABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE
We recently moved into a new home, and luckily we received a year home warranty when we closed. After a few months, our top oven was not getting hot. The bottom oven worked just fine. I called my home warranty provider and they gave me Reliable Appliances phone number to use as a provider - they said they notified him of my request. Bryce called me after I had spoken with my warranty company and asked some questions about the problem and the ovens serial number. He scheduled my appointment for the next day and arrived on time and ready. He was able to fix the problem in less than an hour. I am very grateful he came out before this storm hits. I will definitely be using him for future appliance needs! Note - I only had to pay my insurance deductible of $100 so I can't give a fair price analysis.

Called Appliance Doctor on the morning of 10/6/2009. Got an appointment for later in the day. In our discussion I was told it is $85 for coming out and that the amount will be applied to the cost of the repair if done by the techinician. The tech called me 30min before setting out to my place. Once at my house, the tech which presented well as a professional quickly dignosed the problem as a faulty electronic ignitor. He then told me he has the required part in his van and it will cost me $245l. I asked him to proceed and within 30mins he has changed the faulty part and tested the unit. My take on the whole experienece is that with Appliance Doctor, you will get a quick and professional resolution of issues with your appliance, but be prepared to pay for the service as I believe his pricing was a little steep.

Eric was a godsend. I hired him to replace the oven door on a wall oven that is a odd sized European brand and no longer sold in the US. I had acquired the parts with a lot of difficulty through another source. Well, he quickly disassembled the unit and discovered that the parts that had been shipped to me were wrong and did not fit the unit. Although he could not fix my oven at that point, he offered to browse the internet to see if he could find the right parts for the repair, and also offered up several practical alternatives for either fixing or replacing the unit. He only charged me a basic diagnostic fee, which I thought was very reasonable. A very nice and personable guy and a great value.
Recent Review: The purchase and installation of the oven and microwave wall unit went very well. The service started with helping us choose a high quality unit that would replace and fit in the same cabinet space occupied by an older broken unit. Miles came out to our home, made measurements and went over a variety of products and combinations of products that would work. In the end there were three options we could choose from given the limited cabinet space we had. Miles steered us to a combination that would be the best fit for the cabinet even though it was the least costly of the possible options. Once the oven and microwave arrived, Miles coordinated with a second company to make the necessary modifications to the cabinet and electrical work and help with the installation. Everyone was top notch and very professional. The modifications went as planned and the unit was installed perfectly in a short amount of time. The wife is very happy with her new wall unit which makes the rest of us in the house very happy.
Recent Review: Cooling fan in the upper oven died, so oven would not work at all. Called warranty people who set me up with A-Nova. The man came on time, was very focused, calm, and knowledgeable. The part had to be ordered, and Dacor did take more than 4 weeks to send it. When A-Nova received the part, they were quick to send the installer out. While waiting for the part, I was able to use the lower oven, which I rarely used before. I discovered it was not heating accurately. When the man installed the upper oven control board, he tested the accuracy of both ovens and found the lower one was more than 30 degrees off. He had to order a control board for it, too. The board Dacor sent was a "Returned and Tested" board that did not work at all. So yet another board was ordered. That one came in very quickly and worked. All through this, the A-Nova installer was calm and genuinely interested in listening to my input and discovering what the problems were. Keep in mind, this wall oven is heavy and a real pain to remove so it can be worked on. This had to be done 4 times, and the workman did it carefully and calmly each time! Of course, all this made cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas a real challenge. Now all is well.

Recent Review: After 20 minutes of work a new part was installed and the oven heated up faster than it ever had. The price was a little higher than we were quoted but hopefully we won't have any more problems for as long as we have the oven, so it was worth it.

Recent Review: Mr. Raker responded to my email service request the very next morning and set up a service call to diagnose the issue with our Electrolux wall oven. While here, the problem was diagnosed and the needed part was discussed. He set our expectation on the part order time frame and followed through on the promised date with the final service call to replace the broiler control board. We will use Raker Appliance again and will recommend this company to our friend and family.
