Recent Review: This is the 3rd time we've used Prime Construction in the past 5 months, and this last time topped all of their other work. We purchased a home and had a new porch put onto our home in October 2013, but our previous contractor was horrible, and in short, did a horrible job resulting in a roof leak and a porch that was rotting and becoming unsafe due to the water damage. Agustine was hoping to just repair our existing roof but after an evaluation, which he walked us through including photographs and having my husband walk with him on the roof, he determined the damage was too significant to just repair. His team, including Oscar who is amazing! removed the existing porch, built a new porch and installed beautiful flagstone over the existing painted cement porch. It turned out beautifully, and what was once an eyesore is now probably one of our most favorite places in our home. His crews are always very responsive, friendly, and are always answering questions to make you feel comfortable. All of our home renovations are done, so we don't have any more work for Prime Construction to do, but I know when we move to our next home, I'll be calling them for all my remodeling and exterior needs.
Recent Review: The carpenter used by Sundecks was like a magician. He produced an amazing porch. When I contacted the company they sent a designer out and drew up a design for us to submit to our homeowners association for approval. The design was approved easily and the job started a week later. It took less than a month to complete and I feel it was a good value for the money. We can sit on our new porch and look out into the woods to enjoy the deer. We've also seen foxes and an eagle. We are truly enjoying the porch.
Recent Review: We were building a new home and planned to use our previous deck builder from our existing home. We decided to get other bids for due diligence and found Travis of Trademark. He blew us away at the first meeting. He was young and fresh with ideas and had the best customer service. He did a free consultation and drew up a set of computerized set of plans. We revised them a few times since I had my own ideas, and he was extremely accommodating about that. He provided us a price and professional set of drawings that just seemed too good to be true. Our old contractor's price couldn't compare. We were still a little skeptical about Travis, but we visited several of his references and spoke with them directly. They couldn't stop raving about them so we decided to ditch our old contractor and go with Trademark! It was one of the best decisions we made! He has his own regular crew that he has worked with for years, and I was so happy with them. I am extremely picky and happened to be home for a few days during the construction. I noticed they remeasured a couple of boards a few times and then wound up cutting things a few times to make sure it was precise. We also had asked for lights on the rails as well as a gate for my children at the top of the stairs. The crew chief proactively took the time to call me before continuing because the gate would cause the lighting to not be uniform and just wanted to check that I would be ok with that. After he explained, we decided against the gate so the lights would look all even. What a great suggestion! If you need a deck or screened-in-porch, then I highly recommend you consider Trademark. Their attention to detail, exceptional customer service and overall outstanding quality of work for a reasonable price is too good to pass up!
Recent Review: After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. Everything went smoothly and contractor commented on how easy the windows went in. After three full seasons of use we still enjoy the product and we're pleased that we chose this as part of our porch renovation. It has added several additional months to our porch usage in our short Minnesota summer seasons. I highly recommend this product for any new screen porch or porch renovation job!
Recent Review: The company did a great job from top to bottom. Mo was the person who went over the options and priced out the work. Since my wife was unavailable, I had to go over the proposal with her after Mo left. There was no pressure to accept the price and the deal on that day ("It's only available today--sign or else!"). Even though Mo said they were busy and it could take up to 6 six weeks to get the job done, the crew was there in 2-3 weeks after signing. Now, a word about the crew. I left for work that day at 7 am and returned around 6 pm. During that time, a crew of 4 showed up and did an amazing amount of work in one day (with not a lot of daylight at the end of the day for the 3rd week of November). They did a great job cleaning up around the house and had obviously swept the walk going into my house. One other thing, as a guy who does a lot of his own house projects, I can appreciate the tar lines they put down on the flashing edge (of the addition) connecting to my house--smooth, steady, and covering very well--obviously done by someone who took his time to do it right. Even though I have straight roofs, it was still a lot of work. They are obviously a great team working together. I liked the fact that Mo stated his employees are all are salaried/W-2 employees, as opposed to part-time workers--it shows. One note to prospective customers and Greentech--I had read some online comments before the job and one recommended laying down a plastic sheet in the attic (if it is used for storage) because, especially on older roofs with wooden slats, a lot of junk falls in between the wood cracks--bits of the original roof, wood coverings, and some nails. I put down a layer and it kept everything clean--5-10 minutes of prep saved a lot of clean up time afterward. The company should not be responsible for this (because it is indeed inside the house), but they may want to mention it to customers beforehand. Incidentally, the price quote for the job was not the lowest I received by about $800, but the materials they were using and the work quality promised made me choose Greentech for the job. It was worth every penny. Thanks Greentech--great job!
Recent Review: We had a fantastic experience with DG Liu and would use him again and recommend him without reservation. This was a BIG renovation, and our first time doing any home remodeling. Our interaction with our architect was somewhat difficult and Jerry really was our advocate and guide when things were not straightforward with the plans. We were constantly in touch with our project manager, and never felt that we didn't understand what was happening and why. The crew is wonderful, 100% - we probably had a dozen DG Liu employees and at least that many subcontractors in and out, and found all of them responsive and a pleasure to work with. I should mention that we lived in the house throughout and they were respectful and considerate, moving appliances for us to use while the kitchen was demolished, etc. The project did fall a little behind schedule and threatened to be a problem (all of our kids were coming home for the summer) - and Jerry got the folks to work weekends and overtime to get things back on track. We have a beautifully remodeled home, at the price we agreed upon and are so happy we chose DG Liu. We will definitely use them again when we get to the few untouched areas of the house!
Recent Review: I know this review is late Patrick, so I want to apologize to you, for my tardiness. I had some work that had to be completed with my 1st and 2nd level back porches. I called Patrick of Elam contracting for an estimate, Patrick responded to my call and set an appointment to write an estimate. Patrick showed up on time to give me the estimate and to my surprise gave me a great price on what would be needed, which I took no more estimates and went with Elam contracting. He advised me when he would start work and that it may only take a day or two. Patrick and his crew completed the job within a day and I was totally satisfied with the finished product. Patrick and his crew cleaned up everything and I liked his personal touch during the whole process. Thanks to Patrick and to his crew, I will be using you in the future. I want to Thank Angie's list for another great contractor.

Recent Review: JP Companies did an awesome job from start to finish. Paulo was prompt at all meetings and listened to all my requirements. He was confident in their abilities (for good reason) and was able to show me similar projects right from his iPad on site. Paulo was willing to negotiate and come to a fair price for both of us. JP aim for customer satisfaction. After knocking it out of the park with the new sidewalk, flagstone capping and railing (beautiful job on all), we ran into a problem with the caulk. It appeared to be a poor product that was used and was cracking almost immediately throughout. I also was not happy with the color. Paulo inspected and agreed immediately that the caulk had to be redone. The next day they pulled it all out, acid washed the flagstone, leaving no trace of the old caulk. They next day Paulo's father came to install the right caulk himself, and it came out great. Love the customer service. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. It looks better than I hoped.
Recent Review: Work was done quickly, efficiently, and well. We've used D & M for years, for gutter replacement, gutter cleaning, roofing on addition, repairs to main roof slate and flashing, new porch overhang for front porch. They're excellent.
I WAS VERY HAPPY, WITH THE WAY MY PORCH TURNED OUT. THEY WERE HARD AT WORK TO GET MY PORCH THE WAY THAT AT I WANTED IT. NOW I CAN SIT OUTSIDE ON MY BEAUTIFUL PORCH.

AA & L Construction
This is the second porch Keith Ardinger and his team have built for us (at two locations). The work was done professionally, on time and for the price quoted. Expert craftsmanship. The work site was cleaned up nicely after the job was done. We are very pleased with the product and their work. The final product is an excellent value-added addition to the house and a wonderful place for semi-outdoor leisure time. Anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price in Loudoun or Fairfax Counties should definitely consider A&L.

AOn Point Builders Inc
This is the second project On Point Builders has done for me. Understanding how the company likes to work is critical. You may have to wait for awhile to get your project scheduled. But from my experience it's worth the wait. I had three companies bid this job, although I was predisposed to having On Point do the work based on our first project. The price quoted was quite good, and was significantly less than one other company. The quality of the work was excellent, the price was very good, and the job was handled in a professional manner. It may take a little longer to get your work done by On Point Builders, but it's worth the wait. If you're looking for handcrafted construction, exceptional quality and a very fair price, this is the company to work with. I actually paid a little more than the agreed on price, but I offered the additional payment on my own as my way of saying and quot;thank youand quot; for a job well done. I think this is the first time I've ever done that. So that should tell you that I was very impressed with the results I got from On Point Builders.

AAce Deck & Fence
We had planned on getting a new deck and decided to add a screened porch to our house for additional living space. From the estimate on, Ali could not have been more helpful and knowledgable. He answered all of our questions and helped with the design of the new structure. The crew working on the project were professional. The project was done on time and within the price agreed to on the contract. Our new porch and deck are beautiful and the quality of the work is fabulous. I would and have recommended them. You will not be disappointed if you hire Ace Deck. My only regret with our new porch is that it is not bigger!

Terrible company, they scheduled appointments with me on three different occasions. The last time I was lured back with promise of 50% off of my porch job. I was skeptical but I agreed to have them come out. Just like the first two appointments, they didn't show. They call you 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment and say that its not worth coming out unless you are ready to put the money down and start the job right away. I have always been ready to start the job, but I have never met with a single person from the company so how can I agree to the job? I spent 30 minutes explaining the entire porch job to their representative on the phone and she assured me that it was eligible for the 50% of discount and that this time, her company would show. I had the appointment scheduled two weeks in advance and I took off work to be home...for the third time! Low and behold the morning of the appointment, I get a cancellation of appointment notice in my e-mail with no reason and no notice. Then I get a phone call and the guy on the other end says "did you really think you would get 50% off a front porch?". Unbelievable. Believe the reviews. This company shouldn't have a business license. Unless you want a good laugh at incompetency in business, block their calls and e-mails (which will be endless by the way).

ADistinctive Deck Designs by Mark Shriner
Fantastic. We love the new porch. We have lived in it all summer. The crew got it done quickly even though it rained almost every day.
